Simply put, what enemy in any game has creeped you out the most?

Mine is the boss from fallout 1, the messed up flesh covered room that talks was a bit disturbing.

Creepiest enemy? Well there are likely a good few, but what springs to mind first are the cherubs from Doom 3. Hated those things so much. Cue much panicked backpedalling and panicked shotgun blasts whenever I encountered them.

Even when I got over all the other cheap shock tactics used in that game, those little insect-baby crosses still got to me.

The Fear from MGS3 was pretty friggin' creepy. I imagine theres a ton of others, but this was just the first to spring to mind.

Probably this, the monsters in Penumbra: Black Plague/Amnesia, or... what are they called? The inmates you get in Thief: Deadly Shadows, anyway. In the Cradle.

You cant hurt him. You can only be creeped out by his presence.

But seriously, i don't know. Once i deafeat an ennemy face-to-face they usually lose their "fear" factor, and become just another thingy i have to kill with liberal use of bullets/magic.

What work best are those you cant see, or cant fight back against it. Maybe like Alma in F.E.A.R.

Zombies from resident evil... i'm a classic kinda guy. Also, the dianogas from the sewer level in shadows of the empire for n64. I had to have my cousin beat it for me because I was too scared to go in the water...

Ancient Kaa The Soulless from Diablo 2. Lightning Enchanted, Extra Strong and Mana Burn is enough to fuck up anyones day, but when he's in one randon tomb out of 8 that you need to search through (unless you pussy out, find the true one first and head through it right away) it makes the entire process far more nerve-wracking. ************ killed me so many times...
