That would be...weird. Layton, Viewtiful Joe, and Luigi. They'd have to be in Metroid Fusion. Honestly, I'd only expect Joe to survive, because Layton does puzzles and the items in that game are too few and far between for Luigi.
Commander Keen, Prince of Persia (Sands of Time) and the Hero from Quest for Glory in...Fallout 3
Result: Keen already starts out with a laser gun, the Hero has freaking magic spells and the Prince has control over time. By the end of the game they beat up the enclave, take over the brotherhood and the Prince figures out how to turn back the clock far enough that the war never happened. Game=broken.

Raziel from Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Bat-Man from Arkham Asylum, and Kain from Final Fantasy 4 are all stuck in Fallout 3. Well, they all have the willpower to fight against the constant sense of despair in the D.C. Wasteland. Raziel is fairly indestructible and might even pass for a ghoul. Bat-Man has the intelligence and sturdy moral core to navigate the perils of post-apocalytpia, and the absence of real authority would drive him to work relentlessly to establish some form of justice (once he converted his vast fortune to bottle caps, of course). Kain is likely the odd-man-out, but just try and tell me his jump attack wouldn't be bassass in VATS. I think they would do quite well unless Kain betrays them for some reason, but I'd like to believe Bat-Man would have a contingency plan.
Ezio (Assassins Creed 2), Shepard (Mass Effect 1/2) and the Main Character from Fallout 3 are stuck in the Capital Wasteland. The Main Char kicks ass because, let's face it, he's used to it. Shepard is a trained fighting machine, so he also does well. Ezio, despite all his stealth and training in assassinations... gets raped by a deathclaw.

Silent Hill (Silent Hill)
Sgt Johnson is scripted to die, so until then hes invincible and he uses guns.
If Snake dies he creates a time paradox, so that wont be happening. Also uses guns.

With Garrus' wit, Gordan's silent perseverance and Thrall's lighning bolts, there'd be no stopping them. Provided they started whichever game with their iconic weapons (sniper, gravity gun and warhammer) they'd win.

They'd have their own personas along with the game's default ones.
Bowser would have Giga Bowser as his persona.
Okami would have an even more powerful nine-tailed wolf.

-Gorn (TNH's New Camp friend) He's a hurly-burly juggernaut of a warrior. Wields an axe with a (double) head the size of his CONSIDERABLE shoulder span. Early 30's

I'm fairly certain Duke would kill Minsc (after getting fed up listening to his inane ramblings) before the team had even met an enemy. Link would probably try to break up the fight and a war would ensue.
