Female about men: I like my men somewhat within my height range (not really taller than 5'10"), thin and wiry, not very traditionally masculine. And pale is attractive unless they also look unhealthy. As in, I would squee my head off over an albino. But I don't like freckles much. Long face. Straight hair is better than curly hair is better than frizzy hair. Caucasian or effeminate Asian are my favorite racial templates in terms of appearance.

As for brains...if he doesn't know calculus, I won't be able to talk to him about all the nerdy academic stuff I do. So there's a certain level of education requirement there. That, and he has to like video games. I prefer if he's chill, but that he has enough initiative in the relationship to not look like a slacker or like he's mooching off my generosity.

I guess it all boils down to A) not immensely more physically imposing than me, B) pretty, C) really smart, and D) can put up with my massive Type-A personality.

Funny, cute, fantastic smile, medium height, witty, smart, 2+ years older, glasses are a plus...
And of course it'd be best if she put up with my many insecurities and annoying habits, which thankfully I've found somebody who can and meets all the other qualifications.
I'm not terribly picky looks-wise, but she has to have intelligence and enough maturity to handle things on her own.
Having a central English accent also helps.

Damn, beat me to it. A girl who can make me laugh, a lot. Keep me in stitches and I'm happy. Rarer than you would think....

I need someone I can trust. Beyond that, everything else seems pretty irrelevant. Just trust.

If she looks like Katherine Moenning or Clea DuVall, this is a plus.

Always say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I'd just get a little meat on her arms and get her a firearm that isn't stupidly overpriced.

In terms of appearance I would like a girl slightly shorter than me (maybe 5 foot 10 inches), who's physically fit (does alot of exercise and stuff), brown shoulder-length har, blue eyes.

Personality wise, I would like her to be into politics (environment religion, that sort of stuff) and literature (i.e. Tolkien, Shakespeare etc). I would like her to be into cooking like me (I can't stand the growing number of people in my country who don't know how to prepare a decent meal), and generally I would like her to be the cheery sort, friendly with anyone she meets.

A small brunette french curator who when she's not being all cultural makes games practices Yoga and distills rum and really likes handcuffs.

If you've got such a lady to hand or under your dominion, that would be swell =D

Beautiful and intelligent women who're patient enough to put up with my annoying habits and share at least a couple of my interests.
They're rare. I found one though. :)
Intelligent, beautiful AND patient!?
Dude, congratu-fucking-lations, you have done what many guys have tried doing for YEARS! :D

My 'type' gets broken all the time but ideally I'd look for a guy who was..

Taller than me. Not difficult considering I'm just over 5'.
Relatively skinny. I'm not really into muscles.
Nerdy. The geekier the better.
Intelligent. This is important. I want to be able to talk to you, not just stare.
Longish blonde or black hair. I seem to have a real think for pale blondes.

But as I said, very rarely does someone meet my type so I'm open to anyone so long as they're a nice guy.

Has to be intelligent, fun, and wants to live life to the fullest. Glasses are a HUGE plus, so are skirts. Redheads and brunettes are my preferred hair colors. Pale girls are always nice.

I sorta like the metal or goth type of guys... Not the lame stereotypes, but the ones who know how to use the style enough, but not too much, so that they don't look either like emo posterboys, or like total metal neanderthals. I guess the type of guys who use the style because they like it, and not because they want to be part of that group.

Oh yeah, and that guy from True Blood who plays Eric.

Asian
Or a girl with an english or australian accent
or a red-head

Actually, I'd be here all day if I listed my preferences, let's just save time and say I'm not entirely picky.

I love cuddly boys. I mean, slightly chubby is awesome by me!

I also like facial hair in moderation.

Also, if he looks good in a suit, that's something I love in a guy.

I generally don't even like the cutest girls unless they are short :) I know a girl who is 4 foot 10 and a half inches right now and she is adorable (and yes she is 18, I don't like a 4th grader here) :) I also go for the type that aren't "followers" in relationships with other girls, the ones who have lots of friends, but aren't scared to be different and aren't all cussy about the smallest things

Alive and affectionate would be a bonus. As it stands, I'm pretty damned sure that, if there's someone that I'll connect with, I won't find her anytime soon.

(I'm 25, btw)
