Scientific and problem solving mind. Plus I got an A in design tech. (woodworking/construction) and I'm handy with a bow or any ranged weapon. (For when the giant marshmallow demons rise from the Earths core to wage war on humanity for stealing their asparagus. If your gonna create an apocolypse scenario, go hog wild.)

Well, I'm a great cook, so when we all turn to cannibalism for survival I could probably think of some fantastic recepies.

You could think up amusing names for ^ his ^ otherwise gruesome recipes... to take the edge off :p
Well he'd probably need a HAND to make them!

Puns are useful in the apocalypse also.

I can sorta play instruments, so I could keep morale up I guess if we found a guitar. I could be like Gurney Halleck!

I dunno if I would become part of a community, I might just stay home and keep myself safe and keep sane with my DS.
I'd mostly try to go back for people who were doomed by raiders and such and get myself killed.

I can fish. I was raised in the country, so I learned survival skills at a young age. Tracking, growing, fishing, finding food, identifying plants, and most importantly, building fire for your rockets.
In a nuclear war almost all those skills are gonna count for shit.
That doesn't make any sense. Those are basic survivalist skills. OF course they're going to help. They won't help you if you're right in the blast radius of a bomb, but then nothing is going to help you. When we are no longer able to simply go to the store to buy food from the supermarket, we're going to have to scavenge our own food from the local environment. Being able to track animals, plant and care for plants, fish, and identify wild plants are immensely helpful.
Yeah, but the fallout from the nuclear blasts will make a lot of this stuff inedible.

Whats' your point? If you're in an area that has been affected by fallout to the point where most of the food is inedible, you're probably going to die regardless of what skills you have. The only way you would survive is if you were far away from the blast, in which case having these skills would be incredibly useful to keep yourself alive.

I've done a lot of carpentry for fun and am in generally good shape. That should count for something, right?

Well, I'm pretty good at writing (most of the time) so I could totally restart recorded history. What? Someone has to do it.

Aside from that... Well, if anyone manages to restart the gaming industry, I suppose I could either review/preview games - the first of the new Game Journos - or write dialogue and story. Hell yeah for a complete lack of practical skills!

I have watched literally a few episodes of Bear Grylls Born Survivor, so I can die early and free up food for everyone else.

Well, I was joking...I've done a fair bit of camping, I'm pretty good at climbing (as long as it's not a sheer cliff) and I can start fires....lots of fires, even when I don't need to. As humans, we can always use more fire....right?

I'm a All-rounder, I have basic/advance knowledge in building shelter, first-aid(paramedic), fishing, preserve food, Military service (reading maps, creating emplacements, leading and following a command chain etc.), flora and fauna. Speaking multiple languages and being creative when it comes to problem solving.

On the other hand, I'm pretty quick annoyed by stupidity and general "douchbagerie", which could be a problem in bigger groups of unknown people.
