They kill more animals than they save and then kill 90% of the animals they do save best story ever was the guy who PETA forced to catch all the rats in his building rather than kill them when he did catch them he sent them all to PETA who had them all put down.

They also dont condone animal testing but there founder takes insulin a product that she wouldn't have without animal testing.

In short they are a shower of hypocrites.

PETA just bugs me

but they don't commit the actual terrorism they just support smaller groups who do the dirty work for them. Except for the dumping blood on little kids with mickey mouse ears... they do directly engage in that.

no they don't bug me they kinda piss me off sometimes and I am gonna go eat spaghetti with lots of meat just because of this thread

Nearly everyone is going to say that PETA is just a bunch of insane people.
I totally agree.
Yeah animals get treated cruelly, but there's little you can do to stop it.

It's like saying "People against murder". People will always kill people, just like people kill animals.

I can see their views, but I think they're executed poorly.
Animals do deserve a certain amount of rights, like the right to live in a decent environment and to die quickly when killed for food... But it's too much to act like a bunch of hooligans about it all, in my opinion.

I haven't seen anybody post the people eating tasty animals thing, that really irritates me. Not that I like peta but it's so overused when it comes to this topic it's getting dumb. Anyway, I did a thread like this a while back and PurpleRain did two. Basically, people are appalled, don't like them and wish they would back off and relax a little. I'm sure that people will disagree but overall, that's the view. Please, tell me if I'm wrong.
AHEM give Meh some creditorz!111!!
Sorry about that, I'm tired tonight. Here are your credits by the way.

They're extremists and hypocrites, and their tactics are stupid, harmful, and disturbing.

I would like them wiped from the Earth, if I should have the chance.

Good idea, poor execution.

Yes, animals are cute.
No, throwing paint on people's expensive clothing is not okay, and if someone ruined something I was wearing, I would fucking skin them alive and use their hide to create a new coat.

I swear to god I would.
I am so with you there. Seriously, WTF. Not only is it the destruction of personal property(I don't know about you but I work damn hard for my money),it also ruins the item the animal died for.

So yeah, if some PETA douche throw paint on my fur/leather jacket, I think I would have to cut their face off or something.

Kinda of a sore spot with me, I just recently saw Penn and Teller's BS episode on the group and did my own research as well.

Edit-You want to help animals donate money, food, and/or your time to NoKill shelters.

PETA actually kills animals. Thousands of house pets given to them by owners who can't handle the animal, they have a "shelter" where 80% of the animals given to them are put down.

They believe simply owning house cats and dogs is a bad thing, and a mishap of human interference.

They also use LESS than 10% of their total profits on charity and charity work, which they claim to be founded for.

They spent 1 million dollars to settle a law suit against them for lieing about the amount of donations, and keep it out of the public. (however to their credit (which they dont have) FOX covered it, and was sued)

just look up peta scandal, it's all there.

I'm pro animal cruelty. I support the inhumane treatment of any and all animals with the exception of cats. Therefor, I am against PETA and their cause.

I support seal hunting. That sums up my feelings for PETA. No reason to protect some animals more than others just because they are cuter. It is my impression that PETA is a bunch of city-dwellers who were shocked when they found out that the meat they put in their mouth when they were children belonged to a living thing.

"The harp seal question is entirely emotional. We have to be logical. We have to aim our activity first to the endangered species. Those who are moved by the plight of the harp seal could also be moved by the plight of the pig - the way they are slaughtered is horrible." -Jacques-Yves Cousteau, according to wikipedia a pioneer of marine conservation.

Jesus ate meat, it says so in the Bible. You know who was a vegetarian? Adolf Hitler. Just thought you all might want to know that little fun fact.
Buddha was a vegetarian. You know who ate meat? Stalin.
This is a fun game.
Ok, I gotta admit that you beat me there! I always thought that Stalin was a worse murderer than Hitler, and even though I'm Catholic, I know that Buddha was more peaceful than Jesus. Get yourself a cookie, you've earned it!
