Okay... So... Wait. Um... It's got to be a chick from anime right, not just fiction or just books/cartoons etc. right? Okay... Then... Katherine from Catherine mostly due to the fact that that is the only piece of anime I own...
Couple of people I know want me to print them up some 'Kenpachi Zaraki is my Waifu' t-shirts... so, sure, let's go with that.

I will not deny that there are fictional characters I have thought "If they existed, I'd totally fall in love with them", but the fact is they don't, so I don't tend to really dwell on it. My head is unfortunately stuck in reality.

All cute anime characters I know of are the "normal" kind who are into typical girly stuff, and really any girlfriend I'd ever have needs to be just a big a nerd as me. As in she needs to have seen the original Star Wars trilogy countless times.

I should clarify abit. I feel stating a frictional character to be your "waifu" will goes against that character well depend who you declare to be your Waifu.Hagi said:

I mean in real life well if I was in their frictional world, those two would never consider dating me at all (comparing my traits with theirs) for it is in their character to be like that (both are mature and etc). So to simply have the whole Waifu is like they accept me to be her boyfriend plain and simple, to me feel like it goes against their characters.
However it depend which frictional characters you want to be your waifu (maybe she/ he is more accepting.)
Also I feel the whole being object is reinforce due to the fact more than one person can declare that particular character to be his/ her waifu which we all know that's not possible in real life (to be in a marriage you have one husband and wife well there is polygamy that is if you accept it).
I suppose I'm just being realistic (or is it I have no imagination or have great respect to the character I view to be hot) with this whole thing than to fantasize about it.
