Well, fuck. I've got a phone, a trashcan, and technically a knife block w/knives, but that's really far to my left. So you count the knife block, I'm not COMPLETELY screwed.

Well, my broadsword is sort of on my left. Unfortunately its also one floor above me. My i-station is within reach though. Maybe a few solos by Eddie Van Halen, Joel o Keefe and Phil Lynott will cause their heads to explode.
It amazes me how many of us escapists post surrounded by weapons, swords, guns, its almost reaching a SUSPICIOUS level, or perhaps I didnt realise how seriously people take home defense.
(Suddenly I am reminded of an Eddie Izzard bit where he talks about people going out to their grandfather's arsenal):
On topic: Left of me is an empty amazon.co.uk package, a copy of Flaubert's Madame Bovary I have to study this term and of course the ultimate weapon, a 1:18 scale replica remote control KITT from Knight Rider... with no batteries.
Unless this particular kind of zombie infection causes paper cuts to be fatal... I will be one of the zombies attempting to eat YOUR brains.

Clearly I need to adorn my walls with assult rifles, harpoons and scimitars not only to prepare for the inevitable Left 4 Dead situation, but also to blazenly pronounce what a "Bad-arse" I am.
I am english, we dont say ass.

A belt, an Xbox 360 controller and a stereo...hmm...I guess the belt could be used as some kind of flail if I tie the controller to it, and the stereo just generally to smash some heads. Maybe lure them into a body of water and drop it in whilst plugged into an extension cable.

Edit: i can use the cup as a ... cup, i can use the sandwich as a ... SANDVICH, the plate can be used as a trowing disk, my mouse can be a flail, my remote can be used as a club, hot sause as acid and the broken shelf holder can be ... a knife maybe if if cut it right... scranch that it makes a better hammer!
Edit2: i looked in my basement(on my left) and i have a famlly artifact down there... a real long sword i swear this is real (it was made in china) so im going to buy some long ranged weapons now. remenber be prepared!

A speaker, a lamp, and a network switch. And my bed! Hey, quilt'll be useful against one or two. Fluffy buffer between me and them. And the lamp has a metal bottom, so that's cool. Damn, if only you'd said to the -right-. I'd have way more. Like my broadsword.
hmm... sausage... chips... pencil... a bag of cookies... 3/4ths of a rockband drum set and the non-shredding part of a shredder (plastic bin yay)... i think i can take on the apocalypse.

Make a shield out of the art board and duct tape. Use it with the boken. Wear my fedora to look cool and have the knife for utility purposes. Use the Thermas for water. ^_^

A tv remote, cell phone, and a hat...wait, under the hat is my colt .45; so i will be fine until I use up my one magazine, unless I'm allowed to go to my nightstand and get more hollow-points.
And if I stretch the limits of the term 'left' I could run down to the barn and get the Remington 870, SKS-45, or the Ak...well actually I'm out of 7.62 so the ak and SKS are out of the picture unless I go raid a gunstore.
