The rules are three is the max. And you must have one sidearm. Mine are a Desert eagle. A Revolver (any kind). And a Spas-12

A .500 Magnum Taurus Raging Bull.
I heard from someone that an Entrenching Tool is apparently meant to make a good weapon against zombies, not to mention it would be handy.
And a shotgun too, I guess. Non-descript double-barrel.

A glock, A katana, and a sturdy blunt object.

Probably better weapons, you don't need ammo for them

M1911A1 for a sidearm - reasonably powerful and fairly wieldy as far as I know, unlike the clunky and over-rated Desert Eagle. If I needed a more powerful sidearm I'd go with a .357 or .44 magnum revolver of some type.

Primary 1: Any rifled shotgun, preferably using box magazines rather than a tube magazine to make reloading faster. The deer slugs would pack a great punch and potentially keep going, unlike buckshot that would more likely stop. (As a side-note, buckshot actually doesn't spread anywhere nearly as much as most games would have you believe - they are still quite frighteningly lethal at a 75 meters away)

Primary 2: not too sure, though I'd like something with decent range, so a low-magnification scope and high velocity would be useful. Any kind of reasonably powerful hunting rifle I guess, or a battle rifle if I managed to get my hands on military equipment.

You will notice a distinct lack of melee weapons. Hitting things with the butt of a rifle or shotgun or something is actually very dangerous as well, but there's problems with blood splatter and I'd quite like to avoid using a weapon that could get me killed without ever having to have a zombie lay its hands on me. This is assuming we're talking about the 'infection' type of zombie, of course.

If we're talking about the 'magic happens-to-anyone-that-dies' kind, then I'll happily replace the rifle with a mace or some other blunt weapon - they don't require being kept sharp.

Crowbar, it's a multiple purpose tool. Also a great zombie killer.
Yeah... just about any melee weapon really. metal bat, sword, hammer, staple hammer (favorite thing ever), Bo staff, crossbow. Of which i have all of these... although the crossbow isn't exactly much of a melee.

Zombies aren't scary.

and i suppose a Beretta. As long as i get a green beret i'm happy.

Hmm, you've never read The Zombie Survival Guide have you? Pistols and shotguns let Zed get to close, so if you screw up your chow.

My Weapons:
Simonov SKS carbine (or copy): Semi auto to avoid wasted ammo, 7.62 rounds do alot of damage, fixed wooden stock with steel plate incase Zed gets close.

Hallagan Tool: Good multi-purpose tool for opening/clearing blocked passages, heavy enough to smash skulls.

A halberd.
A warhammer.
A shield.

You push them down from long distance, defend yourself and do damage with the weakest of swings, and you can defend yourself again a horde.

I'm not there to kill everything. I'm there to escape alive.

Frying pan, full stop.

Oh, we're talking SERIOUS here? I'd probably get something semi-auto(ammo-conservation) that packs enough of a punch to sever, or at least seriously ruin limbs, even at larger distances.

Hammer or something heavy for Meelee.

Crossbow for range: powerful on middle to longer distances, silent and you can reclaim your bolts afterwards or easily make new ones.

no guns, too loud and in Germany it is not so easy to get ahold of one, not to mention the problem with aquiring ammo

If it has to be real world weapons, I'd go with a Ka-bar combat knife, Sig Sauer p226 (or another 9mm with high capacity), and a Remington 700 (.308 win). My strategy is avoidance and precision kills.

A flamethrower would be a great tool for taking swarms of zombies and reducing them to smoldering ruin. Large crowd of zombies, just one burst would probably be enough to light them all up. Unfortunately flamethrowers don't have unlimited ammunition, so as a backup I'd probably go with a trusty Quarterstaff, its a great weapon for holding your ground and would give you enough range to whack them down before and behind you while you're still out of their reach.

A glock as a sidearm a Kriss super V as primary and probably a double barreled sawed off shotgun secondary.

.50cal D'eagle - If I want to shoot something, I want an exit wound the size of a melon. Enough said. 1 shot, 1 kill.
Ammo notwithstanding of course, I assume it is limited? Not to mention zombies loooove loud noises. =3

Lengthy Blade of some description. Probably a high strength (Folded), lightweight, single edge.
It is not for hewing limbs or cutting them in half, it's for swift decapitation - the cliche way to instantly kill a zombie.

Either of the following, dependent on what type of zombie we are taking about.

Slow, lumbering, stupid zombies:
Full-staff/Pole-arm. Zombies are indeed highly dangerous if they manage to get close, most are very strong considering.
Keep your distance, knock them down, keep moving. They take a few moments to get up and if you take the time to kill every last one you see you could easily find yourself surrounded, outnumbered and very much screwed.

Fast L4D/28 days later zombie:
Retractable/Lockable wrist mounted blades (1 foot length, double-edged, both hands).
You are going to get mauled, there is no if. The question is will you be able to kill it/them before they bite you.
Even when pinned it should still be possible to perform a head damaging/severing slice or stab.

Additional, dense clothing/gloves with several layers of duct-tape.
Highly bite resistant, also blood-spatter proof.

Going Rambo is all well and good, but I don't intend to become food just because I ran out of ammo. =3
