A wakizashi, a shortsword, or a knife. Nothing can beat those if the wielder is competent.

a competent one would have been out of town or 1000 feet below ground. Besides, that is a little more indiscriminate than everything else on this list.

kind of like when someone decided to kill Chewbacca by dropping a moon on him

Which in my opinion you are starting to give up at that point.

I prefer the third. I have long searched for a comfortable and light sniper rifle.

The problem wiht the first is that it's too front heavy with the XM320 attached to it, the carbine suffers from the same problem as every other stump-stocked weapons (i.e. nothing to put to your shoulder while aiming and recoil), and the LMG is just too damn long for its own good. The LMG's barrel and handguard should be on the sniper rifle version.
I dont know what it is, but there is something really sexy about women who know weapons that well. Well you certainly know what you like, id hate to be on your bad side.
Being a gun nut does have its downsides. Mainly it's when you play shooting games, you often tend to rage at the way the guns either sound or are reloaded.

Does this happen with others or am I alone on this little island of mine?

No one seems to have put something stupid about words before swords yet, so I guess I'll take the opening. My weapon is my BRAIN! COWER IN SIGHT OF MY JAR OF BRAIN!

The Colt Single Action Army.

Screw practicality! If I ever got the chance to use one of those beauties I'd choose it over any semi-auto pistol anyday.

But if the SAA isn't an option I'll go with a H&K USP Compact, the variant chambered for .45 ACP rounds preferably, after all, if I'm gonna use a semi-auto the bullets had better have some stopping power behind them at the very least.

Oh yeah, I'd keep the SAA in a holster mounted on my right hip, and the USP in a holster under my fatigue jacket.

Oh no im the same way, playing Army of Two drove me nuts because every freaking gun sounded almost identical. Dont even get me started about the problems i had with wlfenstein...SOCOM i think did guns quite well, same with COD 4.
im with you on that. and also the reloading in Farcry 2. it should be more like Rainbow 6 vegas 2

Dual knives or circular sickles or something along those lines. I want to *cut*.
...But I'll need a partner who's proficient with a rifle for backup.

A Space Marine Bolter.

Secondary would be the two guns used by Brandon in Gungrave. I love those things.
