For those who have played Morrowind and Oblivion, or even those new to the series, what do YOU want to see (added, taken out, changed) in this game.

A lot of things involving magic. Let me pull up the list.

1. DEAR GOD, DON'T MAKE US GO THROUGH A BUNCH OF QUESTS IN DIFFERENT TOWNS OR BUY A DLC TO ACCESS SPELL CREATION AND ENCHANTMENT! SERIOUSLY, THAT PISSED ME OFF WITH MY DOZENS OF MAGE CHARACTERS!

I must have found J'skar at least 50 times! Even my warriors and rogues have to do this shit just to make healing spells.

2. Summoning multiple creatures. Permanent until death summons would be nice, for lesser creatures.

3. Slowly recharging enchantments, but not as slow as Morrowind, so that warriors don't need Soul-Trap-enchanted-weapons to recharge their stuff.

4. I'd like Willpower to have an effect on how much a spell costs to cast, rather than just skill level in a Magic school. But still have skill level affect what spells can be cast. So that I can't summon a Storm Atronach at Level 5 in Conjuration thanks to a Willpower of 100.

5. Bring back a lot of effects from Morrowind, so that we can get crazy shit like the Boots of Blinding Speed again.

6. Total removal or fixing of the game-breaking effects like Reflect Damage or Chameleon. Do like the Shield effect, and make those effects cap at 85% or something similar.

7. Once a day powers that aren't shit. Seriously. I'm giving up some permanant stat bonuses here, give me something good. Not shit like "The Serpent".

8. An anti-Charm, to make people hate you, but not like Frenzy, which makes them attack you or others.

I know I personally would want added:
- a Fallout-style violence factor, such as lopping off limbs and stuff
- the ability to delete spells out of your list
- perks like in Fallout
- some new types of enemies, such as werewolves
- essential companions with backstories/allegiances
and taken out:
- the speechcraft skill, cuz that pie game is useless
- a Fallout style leveling system, none of that sleeping stuff
and changed:
- have the ability to fight on horseback, by either shooting arrows or swinging your weapons.
- instead of a disposition system, have a karma or reputation system
- having skills like destruction and marksman level up faster

I pretty much want some of the best Fallout features added into the game, and I'm sure I'll think of more...

What do i want from TES5?

Hm...

I want... it to be very good. And not average, not nice, but VERY good. I mean i want to say "Holy shit, i did not expect that! This is awesome!!!" etc. And not only do i want it from the story, i want it from the gameplay. Yeah, I'm greedy with what i want, but still. You asked, i answered. Hells, the chance of my wishes getting granted 100% is really, really small, but i'm still hyped.

I want more "Sheogorath" type plot lines and missions. More armor models. A better map where I didn't scroll like a crazy person trying to find a backwater village. More dialogue options. Better NPCs and stories for them. I want it to get rid of the levelling system.

...I want it to be an RPG because there are fewer of them lately and Oblivion just didn't feel like one.

More well developed characters, with unique dialogue assignment. You did it with The Dark Brotherhood, Bethesda. They didn't say that much, but everything they said made them feel like real characters with personality, not "generic Imperial #342". And they had unique conversations in the background too. Simple touches like that make a world come alive. It doesn't bug me if there are generic nameless people, or the voices are similar, but please just don't repeat the beggars with the magically changing voices again!

Also, I personally think archery and stealth were the best part of the game. Playing to that strength would be great. I'd like there to be creative ways you could break into a house, maybe by coming in through the attic or something, and some useful tools that would allow you to, say, throw a stone so a guard will go off looking for someone in the other direction. It would be neat if there were realistic ways you could trick people into leaving something unguarded so you can pilfer everything.

More variation in caves and ruins is something I look forward to. I know I saw the same repeating things in Oblivion gates more than a dozen times. "Oh, this is the map where I have to go through a cave." "Oh, this is the tower with the spiral staircase. I know exactly where to go and where all the loot is." yeah, that could have been done better.

Less Bugs, more gameplay elements, new weapons and spells, a little less of a generic RPG (like what Oblivion kind of was) and finally, MOAR M'AIQ THE LIAR :D.

- more then 8 voice actors

Thats really all I want.

Oh, and mod support. It'll most likely have it, but doesn't hurt to ask.

Make spells do damage that actually scale with your skill/attribute level. Allow us to have multiple enchantments on armor/jewellery. Add in a slight bit of auto-aim like what most fps games have these days so I can actually hit people who aren't moving in a straight line with my bow.

The removal of the previous writing teams from Oblivion and Morrowind to be replaced by the writing team of Fallout: New Vegas.
Sure, if Bethesda were to hire Obsidian's writing staff that would be great. But I'd rather see Bioware hire them first.
Didn't Bethesda buy Obsidian or something to that degree? One would think that they could easily switch the crews around.
Nah, Obsidian's still Obsidian. Bethesda just published it all.

I want a lot of things... but I'll just name a few:

Crafting
Minecraft got me on this road and then World of Warcraft sealed it for me. Crafting systems are brilliant. One of the things that let Oblivion down was the lack of variety in armour. Various materials scattered across Skyrim would introduce new elements of game play. Hunting for resources and then making armour. But wait, there's more...

Uniquity
Another gripe with Oblivions armour was the fact that most of it looked just plain awful. So with a basic crafting system you have your armour. But what about making it a bit more bespoke? With the right materials (e.g. gemstones) you can add stat boosts to your armour (whilst in the process making it prettier). Also how about tabards you can put your own emblem on? The City Guard mail in Oblivion looked great... but it'd be nice to have your own emblem on there... maybe a family crest or something?

Defined Classes
In Oblivion I mostly played light armour toting guys with the hope of turning out to be a leather clad hunter, stalking through the woods and taking my enemies out from afar with arrows and only getting up close to deliver fatal blows with a dagger. Turns out that you can just do the Mages Guild quest line; create your own fortify magic spell and then just turn into a badass summoner. I didn't like that so much. I like to stick to a class and play it through with the talents I naturally learn.

I have more, may post again later.

A SHITTON of sidequest. More than oblivion if that's possible.
And a better enchantment system for both weapons and clothes ie for clothing more than one puny effect and for weapons if we can get a dark crystal then let's us beef the ever loving godness into it.

Wow, lots of good posts, I like the:
- multiple summons, cuz rolling with a posse of dremora would be pretty sweet
- crafting (adding gems and such to armor) and adding emblems
- variations on caves and forts
- more than 5 voice actors

I'd also like to see:
- better character customization, cuz 99% of the NPCs were wrinkly and ugly
- to have dragons be even bigger than Dagon was
- the ability to customize/arm companions, or even create them from scratch
- nonessential NPCs, cuz if I want them to dead they should die haha
- a map thats almost as big as Cyrodiil, or at least as big as the Capital Wasteland
- new enemy species, cuz after a while rats and crabs are boring
- the removal of the unarmed skill, cuz why the hell would you punch someone when you got tons of weapons avaible?

to fix what made me unable to play

just imersion in general

1. Give me some dialogue options (Like in fallout3 or dragon age), if Im going to role-play I need somthing to work with, I dont want to feel like a camera with legs I want to feel like a chrachter, its not even that hard and it improves things ALOT

like for example: a strange man visits you in your sleep

what?! who are you?
explain yourself...now!!!
no one wakes me up! *attack*

little things like that can add alot
