Summoner on the ps2. Perhaps summoner 2, though both made me almost cry at this abomination.

I dont know why i even bought the sequel thinking about it

Tony Hawks Ride.

It costs $120 for whats basically a fancy piece of unusable plastic.

Tony Hawk ride, for one reason and one reason alone,

Because I face planted through a table at Wal-Mart, and had to pay for the $150 table.
plus. The plastic skate board costs 3x more than a normal skate board.

No, I don't want to hear "well you didn't get the full experience" I face planted, through a table, that is easily my worst game even if I didn't buy the game.

Well spore was the biggest disapointment. That and tomb raider underworld for me. Yea not my favorite franchise either, but i really dug legends. And underworld was such a freaking let down. Meh but i got over it quickly.

Don't forget about the pre-packaged murder.

(sorry for the double post)

GTA has gone well down hill since San Andrees SR2 was for better than GTA4

I don't buy bad games. If I am going to spend 60$ of my own money than I hade better make sure I know what game i'm getting and why first
There must be a worst game - even if it's simply the worst of the best. I find it hard to believe that in 10 years you haven't bought a game and thought, "this is shit".
Well that happens alot when I rent games, and if were including ALL games than it would have to be the new Prince of Persia. Now while it wasn't a terrible game, it was just such a let down compared to the original

For my money (and I paid $20 for it, learning in the process that the newfangled thing called the Internet ought to be consulted when wondering about a potential new game purchase), the worst game of the decade was 2000's Airport Tycoon/Air Mogul/Airport Inc. from the thankfully-bankrupt Krisalis Software.

I never actually played Big Rigs, but I can hardly fathom it being much worse.

Killzone 2, I desperately tried to like it, I got 3/4ths of the way through and got rid of it. I didn't like anything about it, the story, dialogue the guns. Heck even the way you moved was horrible, it was like you were drunk or your body was numb and you just bobbed 3x more than other games.

Sonic Adventure 2-frustrating, disappointing and stupid. The trifecta from hell.
Technically, Sonic Adventure 2 came out for the Sega Dreamcast in the late '90's, so it's not from the "last" decade. The Gamecube game was just a classic Nintendo-style rehash.

Funnily enough, Adventure 2 is the one Sonic game I enjoyed. The fishing levels in Adventure 1 really shot the already stabbed, sick, and dying game in the nads.

I remember spending hours and hours throwing socks at the TV because Adventure 2 WAS infuriatingly merciless, but I kept coming back (I was twelve, okay? Everyone's an idiot at twelve). That game consumed my life (so to speak) for about a year and a half, at which point I got so good, there were several levels I could run through with my eyes shut. I actually found the Chao to be rather entertaining, as well, at least until I hit adolescence, which was when I realized I didn't want to play daddy/nursemaid to a bunch of moldy marshmallow-looking things.
Sonic adventure 2 was 2001...youre thinking Sonic Adventure 1

Of the ones I played, I'd have to say Casper: Spirit Dimensions.

It was easy, boring, hard to control, and I really couldn't make heads or tails of what the Hell I was doing.

Being forced by my mom to play it 3 hours straight as part of our "family fun time" didn't help either.

oddly enough I have enjoyed a number of games that i've enjoyed on this list (sonic adventure 2, shadow the hedgehog, sonic heroes.) but my entry will have to be sonic unleashed, why the hell does the werehog handle like a shopping troly when he has spikes on his shoes? never mind the awfull controlls and the annoying flying thing.

I can't really remember, but really big let-downs were Half life 2 and Street Fighter 4. Other than those I don't really remember playing many bad games.
