Half-Life isn't repetitive. Would you like some examples to effect your wrongness?
HL2, HL2ep1, HL2ep2 all contain the same puzzle involving a see-saw, it's not challenging on any occasion so why was it repeated? Repetition. I've got both e1 and e2, I've heard endless rants about the see-saw puzzle, but I played both games through about three times each and couldn't find it. Video it for me.
HL2, HL2ep1, HL2ep2 all contain the same enemies, either antlions or the Carbine. There is very little variation in this, why? Repetition.Halo 1,2,3 all contain the same enemies, either Grunts, Jackals, Elites, Flood, or that weird bashy thing I forgot the name of.
HL2, HL2ep1, HL2ep2 all use the same physics and graphics engine, there is no change in feel throughout the whole game, it just feels 'samey', here we go again. Repetition. You're calling out a series on having the same engine the whole way through? That's fucking weak.
Now moving on. You claim to a member of a debating society, but you clearly say that someone's opinion is wrong. I said their statement was wrong, not their opinion. There's no such thing as a 'wrong' opinion. If you were even half as good at debating as you were at trolling being the debater that I am you should know that that just isn't debating ethics. You might not agree but that by no means make it wrong. I don't agree. But then again, I'm saying Halo is bad out of opinion. You can't call something 'bad' without justification that is based upon true facts, so why are you trying to? What a pointless thing to do. Oh shit, I almost forgot you were a fanboy. They tend to do that. Do us a favour and go troll somewhere else? I hear 4chan is into that kind of thing and leave us in peace. 4chan? You're telling me to go 'back' to 4chan? What a witty and creative response. I'm sure the entire world is pleased by your imagination.
I've been called a troll.
By a troll.
How ironic.
And Shoto, bear in mind that I've been an Escapist for far longer than you, spend a
load of time around here, I've never been probated or suspended in the time I've been here, know several members quite well, and, therefore, know what these guys want. What they don't want is trolls like you trying to call out people like me by being smug assholes. There's a place for people like you, and it's sure as heck not here.
Actually if you look at his join date, it's before you. You've just made yourself look like a twit.
Also I am calling bull on this debating thing, you call other people names, entirely ignore points and are over looking facts that he's presented to you. Either you're in a pretty shitty debating team or you need to go read the rules of debating because I know you're suppose to listen to your opponents opinion and not insult any of them.
Anyway, on to your points:
See-saw puzzle, can you honestly not find them? I've not played all episodes of Half life 2 but even I know about them from either friends or watching people.
Enemies: Okay you say Halo is repetitive with enemies, they have Drones, Brutes, Jackels, Flood, Hunters, Elites and most of them can be in different ranks too. Now Half life has Headcrabs, Zombies, Snarks, Antelions and humans. So Halo has 6 (with different ranks) and Half life has 5 (with no ranks)
Same engine: You've got to be kidding me, people hate sports franchise for realising a slightly different engine in each game, why should Half Life be allowed to get get anyway with it but no sport game can? Halo has a different engine in each one...
You stating your opinion as fact, you have been doing so since the minute of this debate. Other people can see it is bull and I can see it is bull. Also a fanboy of Halo? You are one of Half Life and at least with my Halo love I have actually said why, stated points and made a reasonable argument. You're just saying that Halo sucks on Half Life with no points and no evidence
If you want links of the enemy lists then I am more then happy to give them to you. Also comparing how many times you've been suspended or probated? What are we in primary school?
