The Regenerators from Resident Evil 4 the way they dont roar or make much effort at charging at you just makes them TERRIFYING.

*cowers in corner* those things were infuriating as well as scary. You have to fight very first one without knowing anything about them. All my shotgun ammo...

And then later one grabbed me using its super-duper extendo arms and impaled me on its extendo spikes, somehow I survived.

MY, I forgot how common Hydrophobia was in video games... I suffer too. Just got Banjo Kazooie, the shark in TTC frightened me too. Also the long swim to free Clanker in his Cavern (Shudder)

A personal fear is that of playing a game and not noticing how much time has passed. Like I start a session at 10.00 AM and notice later that it's dark out. Then I save and find I've fused to my chair . I do that sometimes...

I thought only I acted like that. I hated underwater levels. Rayman 2 had a really long one where you had to collect really sparse air bubbles and I really despised it mentally.

And yet MadWorld still manages to (as the late Duke Nukem would say) Kick ass and chew bubblegum. Also, while you may think Nintendo is retarded, they're laughing all the way to the bank.
What's "proper gaming?" Is that the thing all we "serious gamers" do? If a game sells, then people like it; if people like it, its probably a good game. Gaming is too broad a subject to separate into "proper" and "stupid."

as for non in game, during the save screen where it boldy exclaims DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER and the electricity decides to be a dick at that moment and turn off all electricity to any device in my entire home.. yeah that scares me when it's bye bye to all mty saves
