First of all, contrary to popular belief, Gore and over the top violence does not make a game awesome. Madworld was short and repetitive and had zero replay value.hagaya said:And yet MadWorld still manages to (as the late Duke Nukem would say) Kick ass and chew bubblegum. Also, while you may think Nintendo is retarded, they're laughing all the way to the bank.Rick-Banana said:Nintendo's retarded-ness becoming contagious and all games companys make their Wii equivilants, and then proper gaming dies a slow horrible death at the hands of ballance board and family sports games...*shudder*
What's "proper gaming?" Is that the thing all we "serious gamers" do? If a game sells, then people like it; if people like it, its probably a good game. Gaming is too broad a subject to separate into "proper" and "stupid."
Oh yeah, companies, equivalent, balance.

I found the control system, camera and limited saves annoying not scary. Now, Eternal Darkness, that was scary.NoTroll said:Crimson Heads + bad controll system of old Resident Evil games + limited saves = terror at its purest form.BlackJack47 said:These

Never mentioned Wii Fit but whatever.sethisjimmy said:First of all, contrary to popular belief, Gore and over the top violence does not make a game awesome. Second, you say if people buy a game then it must be good. I disagree. Wii fit wasn't good ; it wasn't even a game. The people who buy wii games are "casual gamers" who like to play minigames and party games, not what the average "gamer" plays. High sales does not make a game good. It's good for the demographic, but not for big fans of video games.
Yeah I responded like a console war flamer and I can see your point about the Wii, sorry. Agreed.hagaya said:Never mentioned Wii Fit but whatever.sethisjimmy said:First of all, contrary to popular belief, Gore and over the top violence does not make a game awesome. I didn't have fun with MadWorld because of the over-the-top-ness, I had fun because it was an interesting bit of software with a lot of great ideas. The game isn't perfect, but I enjoyed it.
My point was people want a game because they're interested in it, and if they enjoy it, they think its good. If enough poeople like the game, it is general opinion that it is good. Its how games become classics. There's a little bit of flamewar going on here, and I'd like to stop it.
The Wii is not casual-gamer-only, in my opinion; In yours opinion, it is. Lets agree to disagree.
Those always seem to be the biggest pain.fleacythesheep said:escort missions
