I think it was called 'star wars demolition' or something like that it was basically twisted metal but in the star wars world. Though if I recall I got if for a cheap price.

Then you're right. I hated the game too much to care, I only rented it once when I was a kid and returned it that very day. The only one I liked was 1, it was sorta fun except for the fact that your digimon died every five minutes.
Just gonna snip the quote boxes before they grow a bit on the large side.

I returned it the same day as well. That game didn't remind me of Digimon in any way, shape or form. Just felt like some crappy dungeon runner.

Worlds 1 was still pretty decent despite a good chunk of the early enemies making you say "OMFGHOWDOIBEATTHISDAMNTHING!?". I remember the part I could never beat was in the tunnel. Could never kill that damn Digimon with the drill hands.

If someone else were evaluating my collection, they'd probably say this would be my worst.

Edit: Changed video to something that didn't have stupid people talking.

When I first got my PS1, my Mum used to bring back these games from Sainsbury's that had painting sections and sliding puzzles, with no music. I can remember the Lion King on the best...it was God-awful. They used to be £1.99 or something...not sure I'd pay that anymore XD

Bubsy 3D, no question.

Rascal was also pretty bad, but doesn't have the piss poor voice acting that Bubsy 3D does. "What would a platform game be without platforms?" Still better than Bubsy 3D, that's what.

I dunno my the crow has about a 45 second music looping and they only ever seem to say "Hey Clownface!" not to mention navigation is next to impossible. least Bubsy says more than 1 line xD

Calumon: I have only just started playing games and the only one I have played is Digimon World. It's my best and my worst! ^^
Got to agree with Calumon, here. Digimon World was the best PS1 game I ever played, and also the game that made me most angry/sad/frustrated/and just plain down.

I'd honestly compare it to an abusive relationship, but I don't think being punched would be as dramatic as watching your carefully-trained Metalgraymon die a split-second before you were to arrive and kick an obstacle's ass.

Yet I still want that game...

Hrmm, if I have to pick one from my collection, I don't have any games that I really outright HATE.

So, I'll go with Final Fantasy 8. To me, still, the worst of the PS1 Final Fantasy. Annoying gameplay mechanics, a leveling system that actually discouraged leveling, a broken card game (broken in the sense that if you played it a few hours at the start of the game with Card Mod, you could pretty much trivialise the rest of the game) and one of the most strangely written storylines (read: idiotically) of the series, that one's probably my worst PS1 game.
9 was worse, because It had all of those things except it boasted on how stupid it looked and in 7 hours I was already on the last disk.
And the main antagonist guy at the start is a blatent ripoff of sephiroth, look up Kuja and youll see.
Oh, and the main character(Zidane) is annoying, looks stupid(monkey tail, girl face, frilly shirt with no sleaves), COMPLETELY useless in combat(I purposefully kill him in combat and dont heal him, he is even useless as a pincushion) and the exp system is flawed to hell(leveling up only gives you a higher level number, it in no way increases your stats)
the only good thing about it was that Freya and Vivi were cool characters, but I dont consider them FF9 characters, they are thier own thing to me.
I have played through Final Fantasy IX repeatedly, so I know about Kuja. I still enjoy it as the game where the characters have possibly the best development in the series, but that may be just me. I like the story, though it does take the form of a soap opera at times, admittedly, but at least it doesn't involve COMPLETELY illogical situations, impossible plot points, and, worst of all, time travel. I also kinda like most characters, with the exception of Garnet/Dagger, who is the absolute epitome of whiny little girl.

So far, the only game I've come across that manages to do time travel right is Chrono Trigger.

Incidentally, I know that these discussions often degenerate into absolutely endless debate, so I'm going to leave it here, before this thread stops being about its topic and starts being about "FF8! No, FF9! No, FF8! No, FF9!"

Yup, and I still own it. I put it in to play, and while I've got better skills than I did when I was younger and first got this game, it's still a pain in the ass. I remember as a kid getting controller-throwingly angry for "running off" a platform when I wanted to turn. I got close to beating it, and despite the frustrations I genuinely liked it myself. However, like cheese it's absolutely horrible now. I wouldn't be able to stand playing through it these days.

Give me X-Com.. or Medevil, please.
