Halo 3 - I threw a plasma grenade right as my target deployed a bubble shield. Since I was close enough to engage with a shotgun, I ran after him--right as my grenade bounced off of the shield and onto my head.

Couldn't do that again if I tried.

Halo 3 Deathmatch. I run up on my buddy and lob a plasma grenade at him. He dodges and the grenade bounces off the wall and sticks on my face.

We were laughing our asses off, referencing the episode of Red vs Blue where that one guy got the plasma grenade stuck to the side of his head.

"What? Like a spider? Get it off!"

"No, it's not a spider. It's blue. And fuzzy."

"What, like a fuzzy blue spider? Get it off!" *BANG*

Also, I wish I could post my favorite suicide video from Halo 3. I set up a shitload of canisters in a circle, stood on top of them (with canisters scattered randomly all over the floor) and tossed a firebomb grenade in at my feet. My flaming carcass flew about two hundred feet straight up, then straight down, where the physics engine clashed with the graphics engine and made my body approximately half it's normal size, with my head coming out of my stomach and my legs coming out of my lower back, but only from the knees down.

Or when I hit one of my teammates, and the computer decides to kill me.

RE4: Lobbed an incindiary grenade at a bunch of not-zombies where I'm stuck in the cabin with Louis. Bad idea.

Shadow of the Colossus: I was on one of the wings of the flying colossi and going stab happy when it started flapping like mad, trying to shake me off and in my panic trying to stay on I somehow forgot to press R1 and fell.

I've had a bunch of other game suicides, but those are the two that I feel like mentioning.

I've actually done this physics experiment in Halo 3.

In a team game, I threw a grenade at a Warthog as it charged at me. It landed just under the middle of the hog and exploded, killing the driver BUT it launched the hog straight at me and I ended up killing myself.

I've seen a cooler example, and they weren't even trying. It was the original Halo, one guy threw a frag in front of the warthog as it charged him. The grenade went off under the end. The driver survived. The warthog flipped up and sailed over the first guy's head. When it was centered directly over his head, it was perfectly upside down, and the guy was watching it, so they were looking at each other like in Top Gun. Anyway, the warthog landed behind the guy who threw the frag. Just before it landed it spat out the driver because it was upside down. It landed on him, killing him. The guy who threw the frag turned around just in time to see the warthog land on the driver.

I laughed my ass off.

SSBB: I thought that in the mario bros stage(with the blue floors and crabs) if you go to one side you come out the other. That was when it came out and my friends still bother me about it during matches, haha.

Gears: I thought the boomshot cold bounce off walls (I just finished playing TF2 demoman) and died a bloody death.

Left4Dead: Throwing a pipe bomb at a smoker and having him drag me to the bomb, we both died.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me. I threw a pipe bomb, the zombies crowded around it, i got grabbed by a smoker, pulled into the crowd of zombies, strangled by the smoker, then the rest of the survivors were all killed by the mob when they tried to help me.

Whenever I'm cooking a grenade in one of COD4's close-quarters maps, and I'm about to pop around a corner to throw it, only to find that one of my team mates is courteously standing right next to me, leaving me stuck facing a wall holding a grenade with one second left on its fuse.

this isnt a suicide but its just too awesome not to tell people

i was playing the fist halo on my computer and it was the second-ish to last stage so i have my sniper rifle out and theres an elite standing in front of a jackal so i take careful aim at the elite and half a second before i pull the trigger the elite walks away so i hit the jackals shield the bullet bounces off and kills the elite

as for suicide first unreal tournament i have the ripper and i shoot it at someone it misses so i of course give chase the saw is still in flight and takes off my head

Damn thats a hard question... Crysis! I was sneaking around one of the earlier levels and to recharge my cloak I laid down underneath a table. Well I was rather on the side of inebriated and I pushed the melee key instead of the move key so I hit the leg of the table. The table fell on top of me and I died.

Now this wasnt some huge oak table this was one of those crappy 20 dollar tables you put out when you dont really care for the people that are sitting at it. This guy can take ten thousand bullets pick up entire walls and throw them at tanks. Jump incredible heights and destroy an entire army single handedly and come out without a scratch but a fucking 20lb table kills him. Thank god for realistic physic engines.

Conker: Live and Reloaded.

I was playing as a Teddy Thermophile in the first level, and had just thrown a Napalm-grenade from the first bridge when I jumped down in order to roast some squirrels. I went around a corner and found to my dismay that a buck-toothed SHC Demolisher was standing there with a chaingun in his hands. With the words "Holy shit with a side of Branston Pickle" ringing in my ears, I ran back as fast as I could, right into the fire my own grenade had just started.
Rather than being riddled thousands of tiny little holes from a gun so large it should only be associated with the Death Star, I burned to death in my own Napalm.

I did the whole care package suicide. Was trying to take cover from a sniper and the crate bounced off a car and hit me. I once killed an emeney with my care package. Best timeing/luck ever.

Modern Warfare 2. I was playing on one of the brazillian maps. I saw a guy in a window, threw a semetex grenade at him. What I didn't count on though was that he threw one aswell, and they both got stuck in mid air and fell down on me when I was running towards the window...
