Your worst suicide in a game

Throwing a grenade up a grav lift in halo 3 then following it up, and STICKING MYSELF!

Luckily that was a local game so my embarrassment didn't go much further than my home street...

I seriously don't think that there is any suicide better than this.

More games need grenades going off in chainreaction.

There's a Flood spawn point in the beginning of the level Keyes. Rather than jumping off, like you should, I stayed behind and fought. Well, after a while I threw a grenade to the other end of the corridor. Then I noticed something on the floor. A grenade. Then I noticed that there wasn't only one grenade, but a trail of grenades leading to the grenade I just threw.

Yeah... it was like one of those fireball-down-the-corridor -moments, just like in the movies. Except that I didn't manage to outrun it.

today while playing COD modern warfare 2 i called in a care package, no big deal until the care package dropped and landed where i was. I saw half of the care package before it killed me.. and it was counted as a suicide. I was pissed because i knew i threw the marker a bit off my location, but it was probably my worst suicide ever.

Anyone else got a good suicide?

I have a great one.

Playing Fallout 3.After a big battle i went into a building.I grabbed on of those wooden box things and held it above my head.I accidentally clicked R3 and i dropped it on my head.Killing me.

In TF2 I was chasing this Scout, when I was a Scout, and the train was coming, so I tried to double jump past it. When the Scout double jumps he sticks his legs out backwards slightly, and the train just caught my feet, causing me to go arms and legs stright out into a ROFLCOPTOR.

Back when I had my 360, on Halo 3 Valhalla I lasered a Banshee from my spawn, then a part of the wing broke off and as I went up the man-cannon came spinning towards me. Then....death.

In Tomb Raider:AoD I jumped off a ledge. Oh well, everyone does that, no biggie. But, being the impatient idiot I am, I started to load while she was still falling, but accidentally saved over my file. While falling 50 feet through the air.

So whenever I loaded file, it was "AAAAAAAAAAAH SPLAT."

The worst one is probably from when I played Insurgency. I threw a cooked grenade into a room where I thought there was an enemy. I was right. But it turned out he had the same idea. So to avoid being blown to pieces I ran into his room and hid behind a table to avoid my own grenade.

I worked, and he died, but the grenade pushed the table towards the wall with me behind it. I got stuck between the wall and table and had to blow myself up with another grenade.

Yuo stole the words out of my mouth. Except on mine i was in mid air, and it wasnt my care package...it was the enemies.

I can do you one worse. It was the enemies care package, and I was the last kill. Everyone could see in slow motion a crate landing on my stupid ass.

I go through various victory "dances" in Counter-Strike: Source. I used to jump up and down and shoot off some rounds. Now I teabag.

In between the two, I used to get to the highest ground possible then jump off to my doom - if timed right, the next round should start when I'm halfway down. A couple of times I've mis-timed, jumped off as soon as the last kill happens, committed suicide and lost the point for my latest kill, whilst having another death counted.

Just earlier in Modern Warfare 2, I called in a Care Package... right underneath my own Harrier. Our UAV was down, and I couldn't see it, so my care package landed on the Harrier. It kept my care package, and it started to fly off into the merry sunset when it was shot down. The care package survived the explosion, flew through the air to the top of a building, was caught in a grenade explosion which propelled it forward and crushed me.

And it was a Chopper Gunner too, somebody stole it mere seconds after my untimely demise.

Mercenaries. The original.

I only had one machine gun, not much ammo, and I was being attacked by a helicopter. By the end of the battle I was nearly clean out of bullets and only had a tiny bit of health left, but against all odds I finally managed to bring the sucker down.

And it fell on me.

Best INTENTIONAL suicide: Calling in an airstrike on my own position!

In modern warfare 2 I was playing campaign on the stealthy snow level with Soap (4th level?) and when I was supposed to jump the gap and stick to the ledge on the other side with my hook-thing, I ran straight off the edge forgetting to jump

Bouncing around like mad in Unreal Tournament 2004, loading up the maximum number of rockets in my rocket launcher. I finally jump sideways one final time, line up an exquisite shot that would unleash the full explosive fury of my charged shot exactly where my opponent was about to land - which is when a pillar suddenly manifests itself right in front of my face.

I'd jumped sideways right into its path, and fired all my rockets at a wall just inches from my face. BOOM.
