Who:
Zhuan Zhu [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhuan_Zhu], a Chinese assassin (!) from the late 5th and early 6th century
Fan Zhongyan [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_Zhongyan], a Chinese politician from the 11th century, also a strategist and educator
Goh Tat Chuan [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goh_Tat_Chuan], a retired Singapore football player (soccer for 'Murican's like me)
Where and When:
The Motherwell v Hibernian match, on May 5th, 2010 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motherwell_v_Hibernian_(5_May_2010)], a Scottish Premier League football (soccer again) game earlier this year.
So I guess it all goes down like this:
While on a trip in Scotland, I decide to go check out the local football game taking place. Retired Singapore football player, Goh Tat Chuan, is also attending the match during his vacation in Scotland, while also not trying to be very public about it. During the intense match, much of the crowd is excited about the tense game and pay attention to little else. Very few notice the increasing large amount of violent "drunks" who seem to be attacking anyone close by. The two Chinese men in outfits several centuries out of date also go unnoticed. They are Zhuan Zhu and Fan Zhongyan, brought through time and space by unknow mechinations, perhaps the same that have started this odd outbreak. Both are thoroughly confused by their surrrounds and can only communicate with each other very limitedly (their Chinese being centuries different from the other). Zhuan senses that something is very wrong when he gets sight of the oddly acting people (odder than the rest of what he's seen) who seem very violent and very hungry. Thank's to my knowledge of zombies (I've read the Zombie Survival Guide), I quickly recognize that I'm in the middle of a potential outbreak. Goh Chuan also notices something arwy (his famed vision from the football feild serving him well here) and decides to quit the stadium.
Unfortunately by the time we all realize that we are in a dangerous situation, the number of zombies has us trapped inside. While trying to escape I bump into Goh and we realize that we may be two of the only people who understood that something horrible is going on. We decide to get some weapons and grab several hard, long objects that can be used as makeshift clubs. We then notice Zhuan and Fan, who are very obvious in their ancient Chinese clothing. Although neither pair can communicate properly with the other, through some makeshift signals and sign-language, we decide to find a spot to better protect ourselves. We make our way down to the team's locker rooms, where security is already over run and decide to make our stand there. Although neither Goh, Fan, or I are very skilled with our weapons; Zhuan's skills as an assassin come in handy and we manage to kill any zombies that come our way. Thanks to our location and the chaos that is begining to erupt throughout the rest of the stadium, we don't face the main horde of dead now wandering around and exiting into the surrounding town of Motherwell.
The authorities in the U.K. quickly realize that a dangerous situation is developing in Scotland and quaritine the area. After over week of containing the spread, the military moves in and begins to eradicate the walking dead wandering the area. Among the surviours found are a trio of battle-worn individuals squestored in Fir Park Stadium. Goh, Zhuan, and I are somewhat skinnier than before the whole ordeal, having been forced to live off of the stadium food for a week. Fan Zhongyan unfortunatly perished during one of our desperate fights, he being one of he oldest and least athletic of our group. Our savoirs are surprised to find us and even more baffled by Zhuan's existance. Of course by now reports of similar instances happening around the world are begining to sprout up. It is now obvious that this nightmare may not yet be over...
