I'm at the East Carolina Railway, with Job Maseko, Ed Moses and Saint Fachanan. In 1963. A WW2 soldier, a professional swimmer and a monk who founded a church. I CAN DO THIS!

To face the zombie hoards I have a right motley crew:

Séamus Coleman - Everton football player - yay, decidedly average - kick some zombie balls.

Johann Georg Herbst - Writer, wrote something foreign and you'd be lucky if you'd heard of him. He could probably write the email asking for assistance....

Wesley "Cabbage" Correira - Mixed Martial Artist - now this is more like it, someone with some combat ability!

Our final last stand where we hope for the rescue that will never come, the grand...erm... part of Wales called Islwyn. Atleast it will be a pretty place to die, but perhaps the zombies will slip over in all the rain.

- And when does our glorious zombie battle take place? Is it a day? NO. It was during the 1926?27 Blackpool F.C. season, apparently seamus was taking a break from Everton and the blackpool FC was having all their matches in Islwyn (No connection other than lots of Blackpool fans are the zombies... so... no difference to normal really.)

Porto-Novo, the official capital of the West African nation of Benin, is where it takes place
with me is Michael Wilding (writer), Núria Añó ( a spanish writer), and James McKeen Cattell ( a phycologist)
not much help in fighting but they could write a hell of a story about it and no one would go to crazy i guess...

OK, I have to do this again.

My team is...

-Madison Washington, instigator of a slave revolt on board the brig Creole, in the year 1841. Apparently, it was successful. He, along with the other slaves, became free men after a few weeks in prison for mutiny.
-Mikeil Saakashvili, third and current president of Georgia. The Russian one, not the American one.
-Brian O'Shaughnessy, Austrailian philosopher and college professor. Died just a few months ago at the age of 85. Doesn't mean he can't fight.

And we will be fighting in Saldarriaga, a small Mexican village. The year is 1979.

Alternatively, My team consists of...

-Sir Anthony Cambell, Irish Judge and former Lord Justice of Appeal. I love this team already.
-Jerome Eugene Coggia, a 19th Century French astronomer. Eh, not so much.
-George Pearce Baldwin, Englishman(I think.). Traveled from Broseley to Shropshire and moved to Worcestershire at the start of the 19th Century, becoming an iron founder at Stourport-on-Severn. He was the son of Thomas Baldwin and Mary Gough. I....don't even know what half of that means.

We will be fighting at the Charter Vocational High School, a public school in...ALBUQUERQUE??!! I LIVE in Albuquerque, I'm there RIGHT NOW! Crazy stuff. Anyway, the year is 2005.

Survivors:
Bernhard Knipperdolling - A German leader of some Christian sect from 1536
Ed Kalafat - A 77 year old ex-American basketball player
Jaume Busquets - A sculptor from Spain who died in 1968

Location:
Bela-Bela - A town in South Africa based around hot springs

Time:
Due to lack of time periods coming up randomly, I went with the date the Progressive Party of Manitoba was founded - 1920

Notes:
Because of my time travelling, Bernhard is still long dead, Juame is alive and Ed hasn't been born yet. Assuming they time travel also I think we may be screwed... I say we'd just go relax in the hot springs and wait for the inevitable

I'll be spending my zombie apocalypse in the Soviet K-33 nuclear submarine with David Lamming, Mirian Curletti and Harry Aston, in the year 1069.

A British rugby player, a radical Argentine politician and a British footballer. The only thing I wonder is how we managed to make a soviet submarine partake in time travel.

(That took a very long time to get a year.)

Let's see, I got:

Ami Vitale (a photojournalist)

Martin Eberhard (co-founder and former CEO of Tesla Motors)

James Coco (the actor, who I can't tell if I've heard of or not...)

Making a stand in the Kentish village of Little Mongeham (somewhere near Dover, UK)

During the 1983 Queensland State Election (well at least all my survivors will actually be alive at that time)

Oh, and for kicks, as it was the first article that came up;

We'll be armed solely with a Matilda I tank, (a British infantry tank from WWII)

My team:
Ron Prosor, Ambassador of Israel to the United Kingdom.
Horst-Gunther von Fassong, A WW2 German flying ace.
Roelof Hordijk, a Dutch Olympic fencer.

At the 1993 US Open - Men's Singles

Of some reason I think there might be some personal issues between The Ambassador and Horst-Gunther... But at least I also got someone proficient with melee weapons...

Alan Ruscoe (played Dr Who! Fucking sorted) Polita Grau (Cuban political prisoner, not as good) and Jackie Sherrill (former American Football player! Damn, we could take out 3 zom-pocalypses with this crew!)
We'll be fending off the brain-eating horrors at the 2010 ECN Women's Basketball tournament.
I challenge anybody to find a better scenario than mine!

Where:
The Arts District [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Arts_District] of Portland, Maine.

Who:
Patsy Tebeau [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patsy_Tebeau], an olden days baseball player, batter none the less, which seems pretty handy.
Erand Rica [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erand_Rica]. Some young footballer, born in 1990. At least he's in shape, but running away from the zombies won't do much good.
George Edalji [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Edalji], an olden days solicitor, not sure how to feel about that. He's a solicitor, but he's from a time where men were men, so I bet he'd be more useful than the footballer.

When:
If I understand this right, then the first date I came across was the founding of the Yoshida Shrine in Japan, which would make the when the year 859. If that doesn't count then I got the page for the year 1941 in Norway. So in short:
When: 859 or 1941

I am fighting together with:
Silver King (Mexican wrestler)
Holy shit The 71st Infantry Brigade formed part of the 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division during World War II. It fought with the division throughout the North-West Europe campaign, before finally being disbanded in March 1946.
and Jonathan Luigs (born August 11, 1986) is an American football offensive lineman, most recently for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was the 2007 Rimington Trophy winner as the most outstanding center in college football.

And so the Apocalypse did come, it was a night like any other with the one exception being the seething mass of groaning, shambling, rotting corpses.

The when:
The nightmare truly began during the 1982 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony

The where:
Antsahabe a town and commune in Madagascar, estimated living population before the Zombies was 11,000, now there are just 5.

The survivors:
1)Delexos (1981- current day) a security guard, no combat training, physically unfit, pretty much useless with a dry scathing sense of humour and little motivation to do anything other than complain about how all the bloody zombies are forcing him to actually do any kind of work, known in the team as 'Lazy SoB'

2) Eduard Heinrich Rudolph David, a German politician. Minister of the Interior from 21 June 1919 to 3 October 1919. Known in the team as 'Brains'

3)Charlie is an American pornographic actress. She was active from 1996 to 2008, she's also the daughter of Kitana Steele. Known in the team as 'Baby Maker'

4)Peter Westbrook (born April 16, 1952) is a former American sabre fencing champion, active businessman and founder of the Peter Westbrook Foundation. Known in the team as 'The champ'

5)(Not entirely sure about this last one) Wolverine is a fictional character, a superhero who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Born as James Howlett and commonly known as Logan, Know in the group as.. well Wolverine.. noone had the guts to try and give him a new nickname..

So there we have it, in my team I think I have a pretty good survival chance, a politician who knows how to run a group of people, a porn star so re-populating the planet would not be too difficult, an olympic fencing champion and.. well Wolverine from the x-men.. Considering the zombie apoc is fictional I thought i'd let him slide and take the last spot, what better way to combat fiction than with a fictional death-machine?
