If it can cross the species boundary, ergo Zombie dogs, why couldn't it leap to xenotheric genuses? ((high five from science terms learnt from HL2))
Indeed, if the zombie virus was created here on Earth, isn't it fair to say it could be more virulent against aliens? what with them not being exposed to material that the virus might have been inspired by?

Serious Sam (Why haven't anyone mentioned him in this thread yet? Really he is the best if you want somone who can kill a horde of enemies charging at you)

MacGyver (It's always good to have somone who can fix pretty much anything with the help of pretty much anything)

A Smiters Boon monk from Guild Wars (Yay, healing and smiting. Well this is assuming that the zombie outbreak is in PvE)

Heh, yeah if I could have this team I would be ok.

Well that is obvious really.

Dr. Daniel Jackson ('Michael Shanks' in stargate SG1) everyone needs a scientist.
Fox McCloud (as 'himself' in the Stafox serese of games) as the "leader" and tactician.
and
Lt. Commander Worf ('Michael Dorn' in Star Trek) just as a close combat fighter with his Batleth! can't run out of ammo a Batleth!


MacGyver comes close to replacing fox though.



EDIT: "MacGyver" comment, and additional detail of that parts of the group they would play.
