Oh, have I been waiting for this thread!

1.Mainly black with white, spiky, bone-like armor pieces and a cool mask that looks like a skull.
2.A custom style in which I use a scythe that transforms into a curved sword. This is also decorated in skulls and bones.
3.A special transformation in which all the big and/or spiky parts on my body get bigger and spiky...er.
4. A dark pegusus that is real until I command it to transform into a giant, winged, uberzord that is at least twice as big as the other rangers' zords all put together.

I should also mention that I am called the Dark Ranger, and I am one of those bad guys turned good guys after realizing that what I'm doing is wrong and/or I find out that I was forced to do all those bad things because of mind-control, or something related/similar.=D

that would be the original form then it would transform into it's own kind of looking like the thunder megazord

oh and for the suit, it would basically be

the only difference is would be red trim instead of the gold on it and the "jagged" edges on the suit would be clean cut into a tron like suit

and of course keeping the chest piece, that shit is badass beyond belief.

First, I will jump around and dance and sing and quite possibly have an orgasm or three. My lifelong dream come true! GLEE!

Color: Silver, with blue or white tinges.

Style: Jeet Kune Do - a style without style, freedom to improvise without limitations. I completely dig that. Plus it was created by Bruce Lee and used by Spike Spiegal, so I'm in good company.

Special Abilities: I Crush Everything! Seriously, I have this power: objects in my vicinity break, fall down, or stop working with no effort or intention on my part. This happens ALL THE TIME. Hopefully as a Ranger I can train and hone this power for Good!

Zord: Some form of giant dragon, of course. Naturally, I'd like to be one of the "extra" rangers who came in late and gets all the coolest stuff, including the standalone zord that occasionally does something by itself rather than just combine immediately every single time.


And as for the giant robot collateral damage question: well, once the enemy becomes huge, they don't have much choice other than follow suit, right? And since the monster is generally out to conquer/destroy the world, any amount of collateral damage short of total global destruction is measurably better than leaving it alone.
Corporate insurance rates in Angel Grove (or wherever) are just through the roof now that "monster coverage" is pretty much a necessity. It's so expensive that the insurance company actually hires a guy in a monster costume to run around now and again just so they can keep the rates up.

I've also heard the question "Why don't they just call out their giant guys right away and step on the monsters?" I think that's a collateral damage issue as well, and I seem to recall it being part of the oath they had to take in the very first Mighty Morphin' episode, that they wouldn't escalate the fight unless Evil did first.

EDIT: Off the record -_- Can someone please explain to me how jumping into a giant robot and charging everywhere blowing shit up isn't more irresponsible then just fighting normally? They must cause a lot of chaos doing that. Who is insuring those businesses they trample on?

Actually, they do explain that in the show, surprisingly enough. One of the main rules of being a Power Ranger is "Never escalate a battle unless Rita (I presume this applies to all villains) forces you to, or the power may leave you." So they leave their zords as a last resort, only bringing them out when something else is tearing up the town anyway.

3) The girl Seriously, though, I've practiced fencing for a while now and am proficient at rock climbing and horseback riding. I also think I could contribute my fair share of witty banter.

1. TARDIS Blue with silver detailing.
2. I've held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do for 2 years, so that's not a problem. Also, use a quarterstaff as my weapon of choice, cos they all had them.
3. The ability to remove, amplify, or transfer pain into a target.
4. An enormous gorilla zord with missile banks under it's pecs, transforms into the torso and collar of the megazord (with the teeth making a bevor type arrangement).

Wild Force was the one I grew up with.

Being extremely genre savvy and of course I'd have that special episode where I'd go back to my old predominantly black neighborhood to correct a problem from my past. I also wouldnt be friends with the other rangers more or less only allied with them because its my "job".

A wolf that would have its own walking mode that looks like a werewolf and would become one of the legs when combined with the other zords.

I wanted to say blue, but there are so many blue rangers in this thread, so I'll say Red.
My art would be a variety of styles including Kung Fu, Judo, Tang Soo Do, and Tai Chi Chuan. Because, why not?
My special abilty? None. I'm taking it old school. Since when did the Rangers have special powers? And are they ever useful?
As for my giant robot. A Red Phoenix, that attaches to the back of the Megazord and allows it to fly and holds the sword. Hey, I guess as the red ranger, I'm technically the leader so I might as well make my zord epic.
