Jason left the Starbucks shortly after Damien did, Taking the quickest way home in order to hopefully avoid more demon attacks. Along the way, he kept glancing down at his bandaged scar and thinking about Damien's words.

Maybe yer power just comes with a really long recharge time

"Yeah, you may be right there." He muttered to himself as he continued walking towards his house.

He unlocked the front door and quickly made his way to his room, not bothering with food or his parents. He plopped on his bed and passed out almost instantly. Today had been very eventful.

=========================================================

"Ogre, have all of the forms been filled out for Genkai's resurrection?" Koenma asked Jorge, his right-hand ogre.

"Yes sir, I have them here." Jorge replied as he handed the forms to Koenma, "Sir, do you really think its wise to bring back Genkai after she's been in Paradise for ten years? Don't you think she might be just a little peeved?"

"Don't be silly ogre," Koenma chided Jorge as he stamped the forms. "Genkai is perhaps the wisest and most patient person I know, I'm sure she will understa-"

[HEADING=1]KOENMA!!!! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS BULLSHIT!!![/HEADING] An angry woman's voice echoed throughout the castle, causing ogres everywhere to pause for a moment.

"Uh, sir. I think you should remember who you're dealing with here." Jorge reminded Koenma as he hurried off into the corner to escape the incoming shit-storm.

Koenma's office doors were slammed open as a short elderly woman with light purple hair came stomping into the room.

"What the hell are you thinking, I've been dead for over ten years and I suddenly get yanked out of Paradise without any prior warning!? You better have a damn good reason for this." Genkai yelled at the toddler sized ruler.

"A-a-a-actually Genkai, I have a very good reason for bringing you back." Koenma stuttered as he tried to shrink back into his chair.

"Well!? Out with it! What could I possibly have that you need!?" Genkai shouted.

"I was hoping that you could help me with my new Spirit Detectives. They are very new to their powers and I was thinking that you could give them some training." Koenma replied as he regained his composure.

"Hmph." Genkai's temper cooled as she speculated over this new proposition. "Koenma, I'll do it. But if you ever decide to yank me out of the afterlife again without okaying it with me first, I will personally see to it that your father hears about your affair with that certain someone. Do I make myself clear?" Genkai's words were cold enough to freeze Koenma's voice in his throat.

All Koenma could do was gulp and nod his head.

"Good. Now, I assume that you have a body ready for me."

As Genkai's glare left Koenma, he felt that he could speak. "Ahem, yes of course, its exactly the same as your old one. Your body looks exactly the same as it did when you were alive with Yusuke."

Genkai's eyes softened and her chest grew heavy as her old pupil's name rang in her ears. "Please don't remind me of that dimwit. The memories are too painful." Genkai chastised Koenma.

"Oh, I'm sorry Genkai. Botan, you can come down now." Koenma called up to the ceiling, where Botan had hidden when Genkai was on the warpath.

"Oh, right..." Botan laughed sheepishly as she floated down to the ground on her oar. "Are you ready to go back Genkai?"

"You will meet them all tomorrow at their school. From there, they are in your hands Genkai." Koenma explained.

"Alright, I'll make sure the little shits learn the ropes. Lets go Botan." Genkai barked as she stepped onto Botan's oar. She didn't sit, she merely stood on it as Botan took her from Spirit world to Danmour.

"For your convenience Genkai, we will move your body to any point in the city that you want. That way we don't have to travel any unnecessary distances." Botan explained to Genkai.

"Hmph, just drop me off at the nearest arcade." Genkai ordered.

"Ummm...Okay?" Botan questioned the old woman's motives, but did as she asked and took her to the local arcade. The arcade was fairly modern and up to date in terms of what games were available. However, Genkai wasn't just here to play, she was picking out training equipment for her new pupils. She hopped off of Botan's Oar and materialized into her old body. Feeling the blood flow again wasn't a feeling that she was used to after ten years, but she walked it off as she explored the arcade.

She found a game called Time Crisis 4. As she watched the demo video, she realized that this would be a perfect exercise in testing reaction time. With a few simple modifications, she could make it a perfect situation simulator. Of course, the old punching bag game could measure strength. Dance Dance Revolution could be used to test agility...Perhaps she was getting ahead of herself. She needed to see what these children could do first before she could decide how to test their abilities. So, to pass the time, Genkai used her energy to trick the Time Crisis 4 game into letting her play for free.

For the rest of the evening, Genkai played video games until closing time, whereupon she wandered the streets until she found the school. "So this is the place huh? Well, now i know where to sleep for the night." Genkai leaped onto the roof of the building. She leaned against the railing of the roof and fell asleep while meditating on the future.
==============================================================================

"Any word back from Gary?" Shien asked an ogre over the intercom from his desk.

"No sir, he hasn't checked in at all today." The ogre reported.

"Hmm...this repossession is becoming more troublesome by the day..." Shien muttered loudly so that the ogre could hear him. "Get me all the information you can on the people that are protecting Bleu. I want to know everything about them."

"Yes sir, we'll get right on it." The ogre affirmed and switched off the intercom.

"Hmm... These pests must be fairly strong if they are giving my men this much trouble..." Shien mumbled as he lost himself in thought.
===============================================================================

And so, the plot thickens as Wormhole's base is revealed and their leader unmasked. Also, How will Genkai's training benefit our heroes? Will it be enough to Combat the next enemy that Wormhole throws at them? What exactly will hatch from the Spirit Eggs? What kind of equipment does Botan have for the group? And just who is this person that Koenma is having a so-called affair wi-*Whack*

The narrator stops mid sentence as he is whacked on the skull by a tiny fist.

"I won't give you the Narrator job if you pry into things that are not important to the story!!!" Koenma yelled at the ogre.

"Oh, sorry sir. Ahem! Anyways! The answers to these some of these questions and more in the next enthralling chapter of YU YU HAKUSHO! SPIRITS AMOK!!!"

DING!! DANG!! DING!!! DONG!!!

The school bell rang out, signalling to all that class was about to begin. All of the newly awakened Spirit Detectives sat in their seats, anxiously awaiting Botan's arrival. The students did not have to wait long though before someone showed up. A short old woman walked into the room and stood in front of the class and eyed them up and down.

"Hello everyone. I am Master Genkai. I will be your Trainer from now on. Please introduce yourselves quickly so that we may proceed to the more important matters at hand." Genkai introduced herself in a bored voice.

What is Koenma smoking up there!? these kids are barely old enough to masturbate and he's sending them to fight the legions of hell?!

Long post is freaking long....*Passes out*

Lina blinked at the little old lady standing in front of them. She looked non-threatening, but something about her radiated sheer power. This Genkai did not look like someone she wanted to cross.

"Um, okay then. My name's Carolina O'Connel, but just Lina is fine." She said quickly, hoping to get things over with.

Damien yawned as he entered the classroom. Thankfully it had been a quiet night, with nary a single demon trying to break into his house. As predicted, his father never managed to make it home that night, and he and Bleu slept soundly. Damien had just come into the room after makig sure Bleu arrived to class unmolested, and was suprised to not see Botan, or 'Ms. Tanya,' as the case might be, jubuliantly waiting for class to begin. Damien shrugged. "She's the Grim Reaper. If she's late, there's probably a good reason for it." Damien then checked his Spirit Egg, which had materialized with him and was as hard to break as a rock. The egg had grown noticeably- not to the size of a basketball, or even a softball, but it had at least added itself half again. Damien shrugged as he took his seat, letting the conversations wash over him. He chuckled as a thought came to his mind. "Hey, guys, remember when Botan told us no-one else could see our homeroom door but us? What do you think people see if they catch us walking in or out of the classroom?" Damien thought of a disembodied head floating through the wall and found the Tim Burton-esque gore image hilarious.

Then She walked through the doorway. While the little old lady seemed completely harmless, some primal instinct of Damien's lit up like a hit wire inside his brain, instantly acknowledging this person's power and labeling it as a threat. Then the old lady named herself, and Damien forced himself to relax. "Ah. So that's Genkai. No wonder Koenma spoke so highly of her." Damien heard her query and shrugged. "G'morning. My name's Damien Lier." Damien managed to say this smoothly and calmly, but this was merely a byproduct of him trying to calm his Fight or Flight response to the little old lady before him.

Angelo looked down at the little old woman, talking so very bored, claiming to be a teacher. Looking at her normally, you'd be surprised to see her outside and not sitting down with a hot drink, remembering with fond nostalgia about the days of old, when life was simpler. However, Angelo wasn't looking at her normally, because he could feel a presence from her, a presence of power that he couldn't quite see all of. Perhaps his abilities weren't great enough to see it all, but one thing was for sure: This woman, Master Genkai, was a heck of a lot stronger than she looked.

"I'm Angelo, Angelo Fulgur." He said, introducing himself, trying not to make any wrong comments. This woman, though seeming bored, looked as if she had seen a lot in her life, and wouldn't tolerate any kind of crap.

"Really Jack? You've heard of her?" Alex asked from his seat. Alex had never heard of her before yesterday, but Jack seemed to be having a pretty strong reaction.

Alex turned his own attention to the old woman. There was definitely something different about her, something nagging at the back of Alex's mind. But as he was trying to puzzle it out he had to stop to suppress a yawn. Alex hoped for a moment that he wouldn't have as weird dreams as he had last night now that his spirit energy awakened.

Perking up a bit he said. "I'm Alexander Higgins."

Damien heard Jack talk and could barely stop himself from roaring with laughter. As is, he only got away with an amused smirk. "Jack. We've developed powers right outta DragonBall Z, fought 'n killed demon rapists, met the Grim Reaper, who turns out t' 'ave blue hair and wears a pink kimono, been killed ourselves, brought to the Spirit World only to find out when you die, your soul is in the hands of a bureaucracy of Ogres led by a baby still suckin' on a pacifier, been brought back t' life ourselves, arrested yet another demon, and were told we're supposed t' break int' a factory overrun by more demons, all led by some punk called 'Shien,' who's hidin' behind his daddy's big name t' protect himself. All in the period o' two days. Did I miss anythin'? All this happened t' us, and you're surprised the lady who's supposed t' train us has been brought back from the dead?"

Jason was half asleep when Master Genkai walked into the room. However, even in his half-baked state he could feel her power. When she asked everyone to introduce themselves, he had stood up last.

"My name's Jason Caston, and i'm very, very tired." Jason droned as he sat back down.

Genkai smirked a little after Jason finished. She turned to Jack who had pointed out that she had been dead up until very recently. "Yes, I was dead, ten years ago my body finally quit working and I died. That's usually what happens when people get old."

Wait, did that boy just say Shien!? That's Hiei's boy. I'll have to question him about that later.

"Alright children, get up and follow me." Genkai barked at the students. Some of which bolted out of their seats instantly, while others were rather hesitant.

Genkai led the students up several flights of stairs to the roof of the school. It was overcast and windy outside, but overall pleasant.

"Alright, Listen up! If you want me to train you, then I'm gonna have to see what you all are capable of. So! Show me these powers that you've developed! Simply demonstrate it for me, no need to go all out. I need to know what your abilities are in order to help you harness them better." Genkai ordered the group.

Jason was still half asleep, though he understood what she was asking.

"Alright lady, just don't expect anything fancy." Jason mumbled as he unwrapped the bandage around his brightly glowing scar. Here goes nothing "Hrrrk!" Jason grunted as he focused on trying to form his shield. The glowing intensified and grew red. Just like last time, red energy formed the shape of the shield and quickly solidified into metal. Once finished, the beam connecting his scar to the shield turned ice blue. "There, now I gotta keep it like this for the rest of the day cus if i get rid of it, The recharge time would take hours."

"So your ability is a shield eh? Thats unusual. Normally powers are offensive rather than defensive. Now what about the rest of you? What can you do?" Genkai smirked.

Damien slowly slid out of his seat and grabbed his bag before following Genkai to the roof. He noticed the wind immediately and thought about what effect it would have on his throw. "Oh...Right. No effect whatsoever. I've gone from throwing material baseballs to throwing spiritual bombs that destroy anything in their way." Damien grinned as he saw Jason's shield light up like a metallic blue Christmas tree. "I told ya yer power was just lazy!" Damien smirked as he heard Genkai's comments. "Hey, if you want firepower, all you had to do was say so." Damien rummages in his bag and pulled out a wooden bat. Damien had picked it up for a few dollars in a flea market and thought it a bargain; then he found out it was useless because the emerald ash borer had eaten the mother tree through and through. Damien handed the wooden bat to Jason, considering that Damien just voted him most likely to survive in a screwup. "When I ask, throw the bat as high and far away as ya can int' the air. Then crouch behind yer shield. I ain't gonna throw a big one, but I wanna be sure." Damien stood back and stood in his usual stance, placing his hands together and forming his sphere. "Pull!" Damien yelled as he rocked back. Jason threw the sphere far away, but Damien wasn't far behind it. His windup wound down as the ball rocketed from his hand. The sphere chased down the useless bat and promptly exploded. Damien was glad that no other student could even see this without Spiritual Awareness. "I always did hate buying damaged goods." Damien shrugged as he slung his backpack back on his back. "Well. As you can see, we have all out defense and all out attack." Damien grinned.

Used to following instructions, and quick to act on them, Alex was one of the quicker students to follow the old woman to the roof. It wasn't anything intentional, but it did result in Alex being next in line to demonstrate his powers.

"Yes mam." Alex nodded curtly. However, Alex was actually feeling quite nervous. Now was the time to see if this really worked.

Alex carefully drew something out of his back pocket and began to unfold it. It seemed to be a sheet of lined paper with a variety of strange symbols drawn all over it seeming without rhyme or reason. This small item was one of the major reasons that Alex was feeling rather tired at the moment, he had stayed up late into the night trying to reproduce the symbols that had seemed to unlocked his power. He had actually filled three sheets with gibberish that just didn't 'seem right' before he had finished this one; not that it made any more sense to Alex then the others.

Clearly the marks weren't the same as Alex had made yesterday, but they were similar. Alex hoped they were similar.

As Alex unfolded the sheet and lay it on the roof. "You might want to stand back a little." He said. Alex had realized that he didn't know what was happening yesterday, and he had no real idea what might happen today. "I'm... still working some things out a little."

Alex stepped back and closed his eyes bringing his hands up and together like he had done yesterday. This time it was a lot easier to find the burning power that was deep within him; Alex figured that it was probably the Spirit Energy that he had heard about. It also seemed easier to control too, probably because he wasn't panicking.

Alex took a bit of the energy, not all of it like last time, and began to let it flow through his body like last time. Once again, Alex could feel his body heat up as the power built up within him. The energy wanted to rush free within Alex, he could feel it tugging and pulling away, but he focused hard and kept it under his own control this time.

When he felt ready, about 10 seconds in all, Alex extended his hands towards the paper and cried out "Spirit Seal!" as he pushed the energy out of his hands towards the paper...

...

...and nothing happened.

Alex blinked twice as he looked at the paper that sat there and did nothing. Something was wrong, Alex could feel it at once. While yesterday, the symbols had seemed to suck up his spirit energy, these ones did not. There wasn't even a connection like yesterday, this paper didn't stand out to Alex's awareness like a beacon that only he could see. Alex realized that this set of symbols must have been too different after all, there was no power there. Alex might as well be trying to empower a chair

However, since the paper wouldn't take Alex's energy it still had to go somewhere.

Alex could feel the fire rush back up his arms and flow through his body once again. However, this time it wasn't under his control at all, subconscious or not. The energy no longer brought a heartening warmth, but now felt like a raging fire as it surged through Alex.

"Arggghh!" Alex cried as he collapsed to his knees in pain. The power continued to bounce back and forth uncontrollably as it left ripples of pain in it's wake. Alex didn't know why, but he knew he had to get rid of the power somehow, there was no controlling it like this.

As Alex felt the power rush through his right arm he suddenly seized up the mussels. Bringing his fist up he could feel the power beginning to defuse into the arm, but it wasn't quick enough for the suffering Alex. Forcing all his strength there Alex brought the fist down, slamming it into the roof with as much might as he could.

With the massive effort the energy was spent. Alex's knuckles hurt a bit of course, but at least the fire was no longer running through his body.

"Ouch... ouch." Alex said as he massaged his hand and got back to his feet. "Yah, so like I said, still working some things out." He said with a sheepish grin.

Genkai watched as the one called Damien blew up his bat with a sphere of red energy. "Hmm, so you can make fireworks. That's not bad i suppose, but the sphere is highly unstable and might backfire on you if you make it too large. I suggest keeping it to the size of a baseball for now. After about a month of use, perhaps you can make it larger while still maintaining control over it." She advised the boy.

However, her attention quickly was drawn to Alex as he struggled with his ability. "Careful!!! Didn't I just say to not exert yourself!? Let me see what you're trying to do." Genkai walked over to the boy and saw the paper in his hand. "Oh, i've seen those symbols before, your power lies in your ability to bring the words written on the paper to life by imbuing the ink with spirit energy. The problem you had was that you didn't use your power at the moment of writing. If you write it before empowering it, it wont receive the power and it will rebound throughout your body, as with the case just now. Think of the ink as the conduit through which you transfer your energy from you to the paper. Try summoning your power, then while you have the energy in hand, write the symbols." Genkai Explained to the boy. "Now hurry up, we don't have all day."

Lina stepped up next. "Um... my powers are more psychic-based. I think I can show them off..."

She closed her eyes concentrated on her bag that she had brought up with her. Slowly, it rose into the air, dangled there for a moment, then dropped to the ground.

"I've been practicing a bit at home," Lina said, opening her eyes, "But it's still tricky to control..."

Angelo gritted his teeth. He hadn't practised his power at all, just kept it in the know. "I..." he began, and became slightly nervous at the others who had produced their power. Not wanting to let Master Genkai down, Angelo continued; "I haven't practised much, but, I can try."

Angelo held out his hand, slightly curved and concentrated hard in his mind, thinking back to when he first used it, how beaten he felt, how much he wanted to help, but most of all, how out matched he was in comparison to the demons that stood over him. Angelo tightened his jaw more as he thought of Bleu's screams and the laughter of the two demons. He did the right thing and had to save them. It was the best thing he could have done.

A sensation travelled down his arm, just like before, making each hair stand up on end, before it reached his hand. Bolts of electricity began to rapidly move from between his fingers, some only for a flash, some as lasting arcs, illuminating the shadows his fingers created. Angelo made sure Genkai saw it before closing his fist, which, seemed to stop the flow of the electricity. That was good. Angelo had only have been able to do it one that day in the alley, so wasting it wouldn't have been very good.

Genkai turned to Lina.

"So you have the ability to move things with your mind, hmm....that will be simple for you to train it. Simply practice lifting things every day and your power will grow like a muscle."

She turned to Jack and saw what he did. "So your power is reactionary like an adrenaline function. That just means you're gonna have to work on keeping control over it."

Lastly, she saw Angelo arcing electricity between his fingers. "And it looks like you can harness your spirit energy into a form of Electricity." She commented.

Genkai returned to the front of the group and faced them once more. "You all did that very well, I'm impressed. Now lets get going I have a few exercises for you to do outside of school. Follow me." Genkai Began walking towards the door.

Jason disconnected his shield from his arm and propped it up against the wall. Hopefully no one will steal it. He wrapped up his scar and quickly followed Genkai...
==========================================================
While the students were showing Genkai their powers, they were not alone. An eye with wings called Look was watching the students from high in the sky. Look is a very unique demon, its species is unique in the fact that it exists in two parts. An eye that flies around in search of food and mates, and a body that exists in another location entirely, but moves independently from the eye. The body looks like a brown human cyclops, but with no eye socket. The body and eye are connected through a psychic link so that the body's brain can still see what the eye sees. Look is currently being used by Wormhole as a sort of flying reconnaissance device, with the eye doing the seeing and the body describing what is being seen.

"There are six of them sir, five males and one female. One of them can form a large shield, one of them can launch exploding fireballs from his hands like a baseball, the girl seems to have a form of telekinesis, one of them is especially skilled in close quarters combat, one of them seems to be able to create electricity from his hands, and the last one seems to be able to do something special with paper. I couldn't tell what he was trying to do, nothing happened when he used his power so i think he doesn't know how to use it yet. However, the other five seem to have a handle on their abilities....Wait...Is that....GENKAI!?!" Look reported to Shien.

"Did you say Genkai!?" Shien exclaimed as he heard the name of the legendary psychic.

"Yes sir, it appears Genkai is training the students."

Hmm...this does not bode well for me, I may need to call in a few favors...

"Keep monitoring them Look and inform me if anything happens when I return. I need to call in a few favors from Demon World." Shien ordered the blind demon as he left his office. Shien made his way to the basement of the facility where the literal wormhole between worlds was kept open. The portal was a black spiraling vortex that was held open by four demons positioned across from each other. Each of them focusing their energies on maintaining the hole.

"I'll be back in a few hours." That was all Shien said as he leaped into the portal...

============================================================================================

Genkai led the students out of school and into the city. She led them to the local arcade where she had spent the previous night shattering the high scores.

"Alright! Listen up! I need to test your physical abilities so i'm gonna have you play some games. One. Time Crisis. I have modified this game to send a spiritual shock through you every time you are hit. This will test your reflexes and hand-eye coordination. You will only be playing the first stage so record your score after that. Two. The punching game. Hit the bag as hard as you can so i can gauge your strength. Try focusing your spirit energy into your fist to increase your power and score. the score only goes up to 1000 so give me that score once you are done Three. Dance Dance Revolution. Your agility is one of your most valuable assets in battle. This game will definitely put it to the test. pick any song you like and play it on the hardest difficulty. "

"Once you have completed each game. Tell me your score and i will decide the best way to improve your skills." Genkai explained to the students before wandering off to play Tekken 6.

I want you to be the judge of your character's strengths on this one. Have them play the games and give them the results that you think are best suited to your character. I'll use them to best prescribe a training schedule for them. How they perform is up to you.

Happy Writing!

Lina blinked. Genkai's training methods seemed a bit... unorthodox to say the least, but she got the feeling the old woman knew what she was doing.

Plus, it was letting her get out of school early...

Shruging, Lina went over to the DDR Machine, put aside her jacket, and selected her favorite song. "Okay, here we go..."

As the song "Nutterfly" began to play, Lina started to follow the beat the bet she could, ocasionally stumbling over her feet but managed to make it through to the end.

Finally, the song ended, and she got up, panting. "Whew... that's a real work out..." She glanced up at the screen, gaging her score.

"I got a B, huh? Not bad." She grabbed her stuff. "Okay, what next?"

Hllo? Where is everyone?

Alex also wondered a bit at the strange testing methods. For some reason he had expected the weird, like waxing a car or something, but this was even beyond his expectations. Well, it wasn't as though anything in this whole experience had been what he was expecting.

Alex rubbed his bald head for a moment, an old habit he tended to do when undecided, as he looked over the games. He had come to this arcade plenty of times in the past with his friends, though he was far from the best gamer among them. He had never thought of it in this capacity.

"Well, might as well start with my strength." He said to himself as he wandered over to the punching machine. He had already had plenty of tries on the machine, his friends were always egging the star boxer on to beat his old score, and it almost seemed reassuring that this was going to be something familiar.

Alex stretched out his arm as he thought back to his past. The highest he had ever scored on the machine before had been 682, a respectable score for someone his age and still the highest in the town. It would be interesting to see what he could do with his new 'spirit energy'.

Drawing again on the fiery energy inside of himself Alex drew it up as he pulled back his arm. Just like he had after his rooftop demonstration had failed, he threw the energy forward along with his punch, but this time he was the one in control.

The machine began to chatter and beep as the score for the punch came up.

"883? Wow! This spirit energy stuff really does work." Alex proclaimed in surprises at the sudden boost in his score.

Damien shrugged as he saw everyone head toward the machine of their choice. "Guess there's only one game left fer me t' play." Damien stepped up and pulled the lightgun out for Time Crisis. He grinned and stepped on the pedal, starting the game. Almost immediately he saw Genkai had upped the difficult in the game. There were hundreds of terrorists and civilians everywhere Damien looked. As he tried to tell the difference between the two, a terrorist shot him, causing him to gasp for breath and his foot to slam on the cover pedal. "Damn- that felt like I just got sucker punched! Now it's personal- gotta tell terrorists from civvies." Damien took in a breath and slid into a trance, focusing only on the game. His gun twitched over a hostage. "Slider... Lay off it." His gun continued to drift across the screen until he locked onto a terrorist. "Fastball- home run, sucker!" Damien pulled the trigger and flicked his hand over to the next enemy, progressing slowly through the stage until he took down a helicopter, ending the stage. Damien grinned as he saw the numbers rack up. Finally the letter grade appeared on screen. Damien grinned as he put in his initials and walked off. " 'A', eh? I just gotta do better next time, then."

Damien saw that Lina had cleared DDR, managing to get a B. "Mind if I go?" Damien asked Lina as he vaulted over the guard rail and looked at the song list. "Never played before, but I reckon I got it. Step on th' matchin' arrows, right?" Damien sighed as he flipped through the list. "Japanese, Japanese, Japanese, Korean, Korean, Japanese... Oh hey! Look, I found a Chinese song!" Damien shook his head sarcastically and went into the extended song list. He nodded with pleasure as he saw Bullets For My Valentine's 'Fever.' He selected the song and began, grinning at the challenge. By the end, he was even singing the lyrics under his breath."Losing control, you're all I want, stealin' my soul, you're all I need! Losing control, you're all I want. I can feel your fever, taking over! can you see your fever, taking over me?" The final chords resonated as Damien sat on the guard rail, waiting for his score to arrive. "C'mon, C'mon, C'mon..." Damien pumped his fist as he saw that beautiful silver S appear up. "Ladies 'n gentlemen, that's how you fuckin' do it!" Damien said to himself. "One more t' go. Hey, why are all o' y'all standin' 'round like a bunch a scarecrows?" Damien asked the students who hadn't even begun to play yet.

Lina just shrugged and went of to the next game, the strength test. "Alright, here goes nothing..."

She took a step back, aiming her strength into one fist as she lunged forward to punch the machine with as much force as she could.

Lina stepped back, watching the numbers flashing upon the screen. "150?" She said after a moment. Maybe because it's because my powers are more mental based than physical?

Filing away this information for later, Lina went off to the Time Crisis game, but a bit hesitantly, as these kinds of games were never really her thing...

[spoiler: OOC] Yeah... I'm not sure how the strength test thing is supposed to work. Any tips?[/spoiler]

Alex had been watching as Damien tore up the DDR machine with a light smile on his face. After all, Damien made it look easy and definitely seemed to be having fun, an infectious attitude if there ever was one. Alex had seen his other friends play, but noone had ever been nearly as good as Damien.

"A tough act to follow, but I'll try not to lose too much momentum." Alex chuckled as he rubbed his head and stepped up to try next.

Alex didn't know a thing about the music as he cycled through it, but eventually settled on one that seemed to have an awesome rhythm and indecipherable lyrics.

As the song began Alex wondered just how hard it could be to just step on some arrows. He was in for quite a surprise when the colored instructions began to fly past and he missed again and again. Alex couldn't help but laugh as the machine actually started to boo him, not that Alex cared at the moment; he was finding the game quite fun almost forgetting that it was training.

Eventually though Alex caught on the the beat of the song and his score started to improve dramatically. By the time the song ended Alex was really getting into it jumping up and slamming his feet down in time to the song.

Afterward Alex actually had to catch his breath a bit as the score screen came up. "C+ huh?" Alex wiped some sweat from his head with a sleeve as he stepped down from the platform. "Well I bet I could do better next time." He said with a grin on his face as he walked over to see how the others were doing.
