Damien was in a daze, having hit his head when he met the ground. "Ow... Sonnova *****, that's twice now." Damien moaned as he slowly stood up, noticing what had happened during the time he was down. He was livid, his left fist clenched hard enough to draw blood. "Ya come int' my world, kidnap my mates, attack MY friends, and send my bat down the drain! I'm gonna leave a goddamn hole where yer head was!" Damien summoned up all the energy he could control. In his rage, Damien collected all his energy in his left fist, leaving the right to do nothing but stabilize. He ran the distance to Tanke, thrusting his hand forward at the last second. His violent red sphere, crackling with spirit energy, resisted contact for a moment, but Damien pushed through, trying to grab Tanke's face so the sphere would have no choice but to envelop Tanke's head. Damien just hoped he could keep the reaction stable for long enough. Fortunately for everyone else, Damien and Jason's shield blocked the explosive sphere from reaching them.
Angelo gritted his teeth and charged at the lumbering demon and focused all he could into his palms as he ran and slammed his hands, without even looking, into him. Electricity shot off his hands as he made contact, hitting the demon hard. The technique was exhausting before, and still was, Angelo struggled to maintain it any more than a second, but it seemed to be enough. As it hit, Angelo staggered backwards and was exhausted beyond belief, falling back so he was sitting down on the floor, gasping for breath. "I just arrive and let it all go in one attack, I hope it's enough." He prayed.
Tanke Screamed as the attacks connected with him. Damien's sphere Was microwaving the inside of his skull; Angelo's Electricity was being conducted all throughout his metal body, shocking every organ in his body; Jack's vibrating fist was synchronized with his body, causing it to vibrate uncontrollably; However, Lina's toolbox and other items merely bounced off of his armor.
Finally, Damien?s Sphere ignited and exploded, sending everyone flying in different directions. Damien and Jason were thrown backwards onto the grass between the curb and the sidewalk. Angelo was sent flying too, landing on top of both Damien and Jason. Jack, on the other hand, wasn?t so lucky; he was launched forward along with Tanke, landing in a heap on top of the metal demon. Lina on the other hand, was safe at a distance, and therefore was unaffected by the explosion.
Jason?s shield was all but obliterated in the blast, but it did protect the group from the heat. The metal was now scarred, scorched, and had large holes in many places. His shoulder wa bleeding profusely from the cut that Tanke?s sword arm had given him, every beat of his heart sent a new wave of pain throughout his arm. He clutched it as the pain grew since his adrenaline rush was wearing off. He rolled over on the grass and found that his shield was in the way; he quickly tore it off of its Spirit Link and tossed it into the street with a clanging sound. He instantly felt the pain spike as his spirit energy left him when his shield was disconnected. ?Ugh, I need a doctor, Aaaaagh! My arm! My arm is on fire.? Jason cried out.
Tanke was defeated, lying in a heap with Jack on top of him. The Metal Demon was defeated, but not dead. A combination of Damien?s nuking, Angelo?s electrocution, and Jack?s Vibration had sent his brain into lockdown with severe tissue damage. The metal man?s heart was beating slowly and steadily as his body went into a sort of Sleep mode for repairs.
Jack groaned as he got to his feet. ?That guy was NOT a good pillow.? Jack moaned. He saw that the demon was no longer moving and put his foot on top of his enemy?s abdomen in triumph.
Tori arrived on a nearby rooftop just in time to see the explosion. He watched calmly as one of the combatants, the one who landed on Tanke, stood up and placed a foot on Tanke?s stomach in triumph of his victory. This he would not stand for; desecrating an opponent after defeating them is an unforgiveable disrespect. Tori quickly leapt off of the building, soaring high into the air before landing right in front of Jack in a flash of white.
?Every creature has a story, their stories are reflected by their strength and honor. To dishonor their stories is to invoke the Shinobi?s wrath. Die quickly, so that you may yet be redeemed.? Tori Chanted, all the while glaring straight into Jack?s frightened eyes.
He reached into his left sleeve and drew a short dagger from a hidden sheath. In a shimmer, he was behind Jack, his arms spread out, as if he had just sliced through something. A number of red lines appeared on jack?s body, arms, legs, and neck. A trickle of blood oozed from each line, slowly growing in size as his limbs were dismembered, body diced, and his head cleanly decapitated. Jack?s body quickly fell to pieces, blood spraying everywhere, showering Tanke and Tori in crimson.
Tori slashed his sword to flick the blood off of it, sheathed it back in his sleeve, then held two fingers in front of his head. ?Ninpo #1 Spirit Cleansing Flame!? He muttered under his breath. Two bright blue flames appeared on the tips of his fingers. He blew a stream of air onto them, causing them to flutter down to Jack?s dismembered body. The Flames immediately enveloped the boy?s remains and burned brightly. Within twenty seconds, Jack was nothing but a pile of ashes in front of Tanke.
?Rest in peace young one, for your story is at an end.? Tori prayed quickly for the deceased boy.
Tori scooped up Tanke and hefted him onto his shoulder, then turned around? to find Bleu standing horrified in front of the school?s front doors, along with the majority of the student body. ?Be grateful for the fact that I cannot carry two bodies at once. I shall return for you in due time miss Bleu.? Tori Called to the lamia before vanishing into thin air?

Genkai watched in shock as another one of her pupils bit the dust. This is the third time that she had to endure such a sight. However, her shock was shortlived as she noticed that the entire student body had witnessed the existance of demons and Spirit Powers. "This should be interesting. How is Botan going to fix this one?" Genkai muttered under her breath.
=====================================================================================================
Botan saw the dust cloud go up at the school and deciphered that the gang had reached the School. "Oh my, I hope everyone is alright..." Botan wondered as she turned around and shot back towards the School...
Majority vote rules. The Great Milenko, you are hereby booted from the group for reasons of Rule-breaking and God-modding. I'm sorry that it came to this. I have given you many warnings about being over powered with your posts and I have had enough. Goodbye Milenko. It's been fun.
Lina watched as the explosion sent the others flying, and Jason clutched his arm in pain, bleeding profusely. Before she could do anything, another demon appeared, killed Jack before her very eyes, then grabbed the other demon and retreated.
She dropped to her knees, staring blankly ahead. No... T-that didn't just happen... I couldn't do anything to help them...
Already, people were coming out to see what was going on, and her mental powers made her aware that some of them had already seen them in action...
Damn... things just keep getting worse and worse...
Okay, so Jack's been kicked out, but is there an in-story reason why the demon went after him? Just asking.
to answer your question, Tori killed Jack mainly because he was dishonoring Tanke. Also because he was standing between him and Shien's orders.Does that answer your question?

I'm so sorry for leaving you guys hanging. Schoolwork has been heating up, and this is the first time I'mvenhad some time to myself. Again, I'm sorry for leaving you guys in the cold. Oh, and AHL, check if Fragrance is still interested. I think Fishtie has a lot on his plate.
Damien rolled over, pushing Angelo off his chest. He stood up shakily as he saw Jack stand in a victory pose over Tanke. "Nice..." Damien whispered to himself as he looked around. "Motherfu... He threw m'bat in the sewers! Now I have t' go lookin'..fer the...damn things..." Damien simply collapsed, his body unable to hold itself up. He had never been this tired before in his life. It was like someone sucked out his spirit. Damien rolled over onto his back to get a good look at Tanke, and instead got front row seats to some ninja poser murder Jack. "Y-You bastard!!!" Damien roared. Rage flooded through his system, anger playing him like a marionette. He tried to form another sphere as he ran towards the ninja, but all that was created was a single spark. Damien collapsed to his knees as Tori disappeared, not even rage able to keep him going. His strings had been cut, and it would take a bit more than gum and tape to put them back together. Damien fell one more time and managed enough energy to roll over and face the sky. "He didn't even get a chance t' fight back..." Damien muttered morosely. How would they deal with new enemies if one of them died at the first hurdle? Damien didn't have half the vocabulary needed to express what he felt at that moment. So he settled on an old favorite.
Greetings all! I've been on waiting list for awhile now and AHL has told me now would be a good time to enter. So without further ado, here is my sheet and I look forward to RPing with you all.
Name: Cody Lansing
Age: 17
Description: Pretty average build. About 5'10 and 160 pounds or so. Has red hair and brown eyes. Dresses pretty normally, plain t-shirt and pants or shorts depending on the weather. After awakening to his power he's forced to keep his hands covered by either wraps or gloves, usually the former.
Power: Fist of Heaven and Fist of Hell. His right fist is the Fist of Hell and his left fist is the Fist of Heaven. Both fists will drain Cody's energy constantly, unless he keeps them covered. If he allows them to remain active for too long, the results would be fatal making this a double edged sword. Also, due to their contradictory nature, they cannot both be active at the same time.
D: At this stage Cody can only use the Fist of Heaven. Fist of Hell puts far too much strain on his body. The Fist of Heaven will radiate a bright light to anyone with the power to see spirits. This holy light repels demons and ghosts, but is only a minor nuisance to them at this stage that adds a little extra power to his punches.
C: At this point Cody will be able to use the Fist of Hell. Once unwrapped, this fist will be consumed by the black flames of hell. The flames feed on blood and grow larger based on the amount absorbed, which can work off of the wounds of Cody, his allies, or his enemies. At this stage the flames cannot pass above his elbow no matter what though. Conversely, the Fist of Heaven gains the power to heal the wounds of all that are bathed in it's light at this stage, but puts a greater toll on Cody's body.
B: In this stage Cody will be able to use the Fist of Heaven to unleash a flash of holy light that will blind most enemies and cause extra damage to demons. The flames of the Fist of Hell will now be able to extend to his shoulder. Both fists will have significant power at this point.
A: At his peak, the Fist of Heaven annihilate most lesser demons on contact and deal significant damage to greater demons. It will heal almost any wound and the flash attack will leave enemies blind for almost an entire day. The flames of the Fist of Hell can now cover his entire body and act as both armor and a weapon. He will be able to manipulate the flames as well to use them as a sort of ranged attack. Despite his mastery of his powers, Cody will only be able to use them for about an hour at a time due to the heavy toll it places on his body but using the Fist of Heaven to heal will reduce this time by 10 minutes per healing.
Bio: Cody was orphaned at a very young age and was passed from relative to relative before coming to Danmour to live with a cousin of his. He can be very dedicated at times which gets him above average grades and has allowed him a fair amount of skill in martial arts. But he lacks long term goals which can leaves him without motivation at times. All in all he's a pretty even tempered guy. Getting him angry sad or even excited isn't unheard of, but it's no easy task. This distances him from a lot of his more emotional peers, but he's not a loner by any means.
Other: Due to the potentially fatal nature of his powers he sees them as a curse rather than a gift.
For all the other students, it was a fairly normal day. But as Cody stared at his gloved hands he came to the conclusion that he would probably never have a normal day again. I have to find a way to rid myself of this curse. But how? I doubt I'll find anyone who knows what's happening to me in a small town like this... Cody thought as he continued to stare at his hands.
"Mr. Lansing!" A voice called out to him loudly, snapping him out of his thoughts. He looked up to see his teacher and the rest of the class staring at him. "Now that you've woken up, let's see if you can answer the question on the blackboard hm?"
Slightly embarrassed, Cody quickly scanned the math problem and began formulating an answer. He was interrupted by a student near the window standing up and shouting. "Holy... Some kid out there is fighting a monster!" Hearing this, the class crowded around the window and Cody joined them to watch a boy he wasn't familiar with fighting a large metal creature. It was clear to him that the boy was losing, though he was putting up a good fight with that shield of his. That shield... It clearly isn't man made. Is he like me? I don't want to use my powers and risk dying again... But if he loses, I may never meet someone like me again. I can't let that happen.
Having decided, Cody slipped quietly out of his classroom and ran down the halls towards the parking lot. He had to fight his way out the doors as a number of students were crowding around to see what was going on there as well. By the time he got a good view, he noticed a few others had joined the fight as well. More of his classmates it seemed and all with supernatural seeming powers. Together, they defeated the metal monstrosity and Cody decided this would be as good a time as any to go talk to them.
Unfortunately the fight was not over yet. A ninja looking demon appeared out of nowhere and almost effortlessly slew one of the boys before carrying off his ally. Cody was shocked. These monsters were truly something to be feared if they could kill one of these powerful people so easily. All the more reason to approach them though. He was better off in this group if such power monsters existed. Slowly, he walked up to the group and began to speak to them. "Hello... I know this may not be the best time and I'm sorry for the loss of your friend but.... Well... I'm like you." He said as he pulled the glove off of his right hand, letting the white light of the Fist of Heaven shine.
Bleu dashed out of the school's entrance, shoving students and teachers aside until she reached the wounded teenagers. Tears streaming from her eyes from grief at her friends' injuries, she bent over Jason first because he was the only one that was spouting blood from the hole in his shoulder.
"Jassson! Hold sssstill pleasssse! I need to sssstop the bleeding!" Bleu tried to calm down the writhing teenager. His hand was completely red with blood from clutching his shoulder. When Bleu removed his hand, blood began to sputter out again, some landing on her arms. She crossed her hands over the wound and focused hard on the spot below it. A warm red glow appeared from her hands as she used her demon energy to attempt to heal the wound. Slowly, the bleeding stopped and the flesh began knitting back together. Soon, Jason's wound was nothing more than a bloody hole in his shirt. The new skin where the wound was as good as new. The only indication that he had been stabbed was a bloody ring around it.
As the wound disappeared, so did the pain, allowing Jason to stop writhing on the ground. His breathing was still hard, but that would soon subside. He sat up and saw the teary eyed Bleu sitting in front of him. He looked to the hole in his shirt where the wound should be, then back to Bleu. "Wow Bleu, I didn't know you could heal!?" Jason Said softly, trying to avoid provoking any more tears from the crying demon. Jason got to his feet and helped up Bleu as well.
"Hello... I know this may not be the best time and I'm sorry for the loss of your friend but.... Well... I'm like you." A new voice called to the group. One of the students from the crowd had come forward and addressed them. Though, when he took off his glove, Jason immediately saw what the boy meant by 'One of them.' His hand was glowing white. For What purpose he did not know. At the same time, it just hit Jason that the whole school had seen the battle and now they all knew about their powers. "So you are...Shit, now the whole school knows about this. What are we gonna do now?" Jason grumbled as he looked around for his other comrades. "Anyways, who are you? And why is your hand glowing white?"
After the boy with the shield addressed him, Cody quickly put his glove back on as he could feel his energy draining quickly. The feeling left him a bit winded and he had to catch his breath a bit before replying. "My name is Cody Lansing. I just transferred recently, so I doubt you'd have heard of me before now. And my hand... Well, I'd like to know why it does that as well so I could make it stop. But that light keeps the spirits I've been seeing lately away, although it's very.... Draining unless I keep it covered. I call it the Fist of Heaven. And my other hand is the Fist of Hell. I can't really show you that one though... It might just kill me..." Cody said as he surveyed the group. They all seemed to be around his age, maybe a little younger. It was surprising to meet so many people like him all at once.
"But now I'm just rambling I think. Who are you all anyway?" Cody asked the boy. He had a lot of questions, but he was hoping this one would lead to most of the answers he was looking for.
Lina blinked at the newcomer. "Um... hi, I guess. Look, you... kinda came in at a bad time. As I guess you can see, we just got done fighting some big ugly monster, and I'm pretty sure that the whole school saw us. As if we needed more problems."
She sniffed haughtily before adding, "I'm Lina by the way."
Cody turned his attention to the girl who had just addressed him. She was the only one whose powers he wasn't 100% sure of, though he had a good guess. "Ah, yes I'm aware this isn't a good time and I am sorry for that. But this is an opportunity I just couldn't pass up, you know? I was starting to wonder if I was the only one with these powers. Anyway, it's nice to meet you Lina. Telekinesis... Correct?" It made sense, assuming they all only had one power. The others had clearly demonstrated theirs, while Lina had merely stood back while objects inexplicably flew at the demon.
Lina said nothing, just looked down at her feet. Her powers really didn't do much in that last battle, and she was feeling really self-aware about it...
Angelo stared in horror at the ashes of what was once Jack. Such an unbelievable brutal murder, right in front of them all and without mercy. Angelo placed his hand on his chest. He was still alive but, Jack wasn't. Jack was nothing anymore, not a shred of life remained in him. All was nothing in him. He wasn't even recognisable. Angelo's eyes began to swell up as he looked upon him.
He turned to see someone else with powers, someone new. Clearing his eyes and his throat, he went to greet them "I'm... I'm Angelo." It was hard to meet new people, especially under these circumstances.
Damien looked to his left despondently, noticing a foot stepping on someone's right arm. He also felt an dull, aching pain in his right hand, but he attributed it to the amount of spheres he had launched. "Explosives spheres, huh? Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, 'n' 'Spirit Bomb' is already taken. What t' do, what 't do... Spirit grenade? Nah. Spirit Missile? No... Hey, how about Spirit Napalm? That sounds pretty good, right?" Damien once again looked to his right, the blood pounding in his ears. However, his hearing soon returned, allowing him to hear faint voices if he concentrated. However, this was quite difficult, as he was becoming increasingly more annoyed that the person being stepped on didn't move at all. "Doesn't 'e got any guts? Why would 'e let 'imself be treated like trash?" His arm began to hurt more and more as he came back to his senses, and Damien soon realized why his arm hurt so bad. "Oh, that sonnuva *****. That's my arm 'e's steppin' on." Damien decided to speak politely to the newcomer. "Evenin'. Forgive me if I'm a bit testy, but will ya get off m'goddamn arm? Thank ya." Damien waited until the kid complied, then waited for Botan to float down. "Yo, Botan. I gotta question. You said that no normal human could see paranormal activity 'n that kinda stuff, right? So what the hell are they starin' at?" Damien asked, waving at the school. Another thought crossed Damien's arm. "Oh, and right after ya answer me that, would ya kindly go 'n' get that ol' lady Genkai or whatever and tell her we need some fuckin' practice and soon. I don't want anyone else dyin', and if that Ninja poser was anythin' t' go by, we're a-gonna need it."
"Ah, nice to meet you Angelo. I'm Cody." Cody said to Angelo with a nod. He noted that neither Angelo not Lina seemed particularly talkative, although that could simply be due to the trauma of what had just happened. It didn't bother Cody much either way so he simply shrugged it off.
"Evenin'. Forgive me if I'm a bit testy, but will ya get off m'goddamn arm? Thank ya."
Cody looked down to see another boy whose arm he was indeed standing on. He quickly moved his foot. "Oh, uh... Sorry." Cody muttered as he wondered how long he had been standing on the boy's arm without noticing. The strange woman with blue hair and a pink kimono floating down on an oar was only somewhat surprising given all the other bizarre things he had seen recently. He listened to the boy's questions to her with interest. An old lady named Genkai who is training them it seems? Perhaps this person will know how to get rid of my powers... I'll have to try to meet this Genkai.
Lina blinked. Damien had a good point- if they were the only ones who could see the demons, what did everyone else see?
Shaking her head, she turned to face Botan and the rest. "Um, I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think we should be here right now..." She jerked a thumb at the school as she said this.
