The more I play in the 3D environment of OOT the more I love it, it really does get better as you get further into it. The water and forest temples were amazingly designed and used the 3D space better than most platfromers nowadays. Both those temples were really fun.KeyMaster45 said:[I'm talking about 2D and CG(3D, 64bit w/e you feel like calling them) games. Calling it 16bit is splitting hairs. If your only options of movement are up and down on the Y axis, and left and right on the X axis its a 2D game. Perhaps I should have split my second paragraph up and merged the first half with the first and the second half with the 3rd paragraph and my point would have become clearer.

Well, just beat the Water Temple and I don't see what all the fuss is about. I beat it in 2 and a half hours without a guide or walkthrough, it was just a case of exploring and remembering where things are, dunno why it's so infamous.Draculafreak said:Just wait til the water temple then you'll DEFINITELY think Link To The Past is better.
The whirlpool dodging part was kind of annoying but the Water Temple was like a cool refreshing breeze compared to the awful Jabu Jabu's Belly dungeon.
I have to admit though, there were two parts in the game where I had to resort to a walkthrough... entering Death Mountain (how the hell was I supposed to know I was meant to bomb that rolling Goron to progress???) and getting Biggeron's Sword, which I'm not using because I feel guilty about cheating to get it now
