I think I want to play his top 5 now, of course I'm still not sure if I would like Just Cause 2. But anyway, the bad ones: >
Bioshock 2: I liked the first one, did we need a sequel?
Final Fantasy 13: Yawn.
Force Unleashed 2: Here I thought Bioshock 2 was unnecessary.
Metroid Other M: It was ok. Gameplay was fine but blad and uninspired. Story was uninteresting, and I think I would have prefered Samus if she was still voiced by the woman who gave her a voice in Brawl. I'd rather play the Metroid Prime games.
Kane and Lynch 2!: AHHHHHHHHH!

I loved this episode. There is nothing else for Yahtzee to review next week, other than: FABLE 3! .... That won't happen.

Not that I disagree with you or anything but why not (referring to Fable 3)? I mean sure he most likely didn't like it but that didn't stop him from reviewing games like Eve Online, Sonic Unleashed, Scribblenauts, Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, and of course Too Human.

It's very sad that I have to agree about Kane & Lynch 2, that game was the biggest pile of shit I played this year (closely followed by Alpha Protocol). I liked the first Kane & Lynch and was looking forward to the sequel, in the end it felt like a kick to the crotch rather than entertainment.
With that said, I found Just Cause 2 to be somewhat boring.

I beleve everyone agrees that Bioshock 2´s place came as a suprise.

The really sad part is I actually expected him to do it. Which isn't the same as saying that the game deserves it.

To be perfectly honest, it saddens me a bit that much of the hate for Bioshock 2 has less to do with its quality and more to do with Bioshock fans who never even gave the game a chance by deeming it crap for the simple reason that it was both unnecessary and (arguably) not quite as good as the first.

I never realized BioShock 2 got any hate... people might say that the story is a bit mediocre compared to BioShock 1, but they cannot deny that it improves the game in several places, and apparently the DLC Minerva's Den combines both the improved gameplay from BioShock 2 and the atmosphere, story and plot twist from BioShock 1... so it should be the 'perfect' game. Damn I wish I could play it...

for a split second you got me with "halo:reach"...................I'm surprise Kane&Lynce 2 was the worst game of 2010 I'm surprise you didn't choose final fantasy XIII like every other ************ out there.

Final Fantasy XIII was a bad game because it has a terrible core design. Kane and Lynch 2 is just trying to look shit.

Mass Effect 2 doesn't deserve a place in any "top game of 2010" simply for the way it took any difficulty out of the franchise, as well as having one of the more illogical sequel stories in recent memory.

Kane & Lynch 2 is spot on. One of the few games that I just sat down to the side of my TV and Booed! Pretty good list though. I might shuffle the order just a bit though. *Looks at FF13*

I'd just assume every game was in his "Bottom 5." Nothing against Yahtzee, it's just his reviews make every game sound like they're not worth it and praise is very hard to find in his reviews. I know in his Batman: Arkham Asylum review he said everything he doesn't mention is fine and all, but even so it's kind of hard sometimes to distinguish between, "not mentioning it because it's fine," and, "not mentioning it because it's so wretched I can't bring myself to talk about it."

Well I remember in one of his first reviews he said that "What I learned from my last review, is that no body likes it when I don't insult the game." Also he acts so mean to games because I think that is just in his nature. I actually like him doing that because there are so many game critics that focus only on the good traits of a game and lend 30 seconds to the bad traits. He really counters all the other game reviewers who treat every game with pride, joy and optimism.

Well said. Yahtzee's reviews generally shouldn't be taken seriously, or at least not TOO seriously.

Bioshock 2 got plenty of hate, although it seems to have died down in the months following release as the (anti-)fanboys seem to have moved on and everyone else came to realize the game was actually good.

But I personally hated Just Cause 2.....

Halo Reach didn't seem horrendous enough for the award. Fable 3, maybe. But KnL was definitely worse than all of the above. GAH!
