Laura walked up to Maeror and those around him. "Did the interrogations deliver any new information?" she asked. "I don't like jumping to conclusions," she said, putting her hand on his arm, and saying quietly "but I don't trust Johnny. His outlook, the way he talks to people, I just don't get it. I get nervous around him; it's like it's contagious. I don't feel... safe." She ran her fingers through her hair and then wrapped her arms around her chest. "Nothing feels safe..." she said softly. She pursed her lips like she was about to speak, but then just looked at the floor.
"Nothing new aside from the fact that common sense is decidedly uncommon here. I definitely acknowledge that Johnny could have done it, but I'm not sure. To be blunt, we're not safe. Just stay armed. I'll keep a sentry out at all times in the night. Take care of yourself, that's the big thing."

"Siggaurd. I think he left the pills there to exonerate himself. If I had to guess whether I was right or not, I'd say..."
Maeror sits down and brings his knees up to his chest.
"Only a 20% chance that I'm right. Sitting like this increases your reasoning capacity by 40%, and even with that, that's all I can come up with."

She knelt down next to Maeror. "But L- I mean Maeror, the only reason Sigguard would kill would be if he was hallucinating or something. A fake suicide seems planned, and Sigguard doesn't seem like he would commit premeditated murder." Laura stood up and put her hands in her pockets. "I know I don't know much about crime solving," she said, looking up for a moment before looking into his eyes. "But it seems like you should focus on the evidence when there is a large group of suspects, and focus on motive when there is a small group. Am I making sense?" She offered a hand to him and said, "I guess I'm just saying I don't think it was Sigguard."

"You're making excellent points. However, there is no motive for ANYone here. Every death means that your chance of survival is much less. Is it a game? Some cover-up? There's no reason for any of the killing. With no motive, all we've got is evidence."

"Well, I don't think it's either of you(I'm assuming Larenxis, Sorrow and me split off from the rest of the group), so I propose this: We approach either Siggaurd or Johnny and try to scare them into something like confession. We just need to act like we have evidence."

OOC-Just a reminder to everyone that Galt said he'd be back tomorrow, and that's when the lynching will happen.

"I'm not sure that's a good idea..." Laura said tentatively. "It might drive them to kill again."

OOC: Which one has the doctor background? Without any better ideas I vote him.
OOC: But why?!

Only catching the last of the sentence Rain turned around.

"Could have been a one off thing? Maybe the guy had a grudge or something. I wasn't with the groupd at the time so I don't know what happend but people seem sure it was that Johnny guy. I hope you guys are right about all this."

OOC: My vote's Pie.

"That may be, what what else can we do?"

OOC- This would be a rather convincing basis for a lynch don't you think, Galt? Could we get one of those please?

"It's simple. If neither of them is the killer, what we do won't affect them. If they are, and we don't get anything, I don't think anything will change, either. This wasn't a single kill. This was meant to sew confusion and discord in the group. They won't stop until everyone's dead, I can feel it."

Lynching will be soon, right? :(
Hey, hey, heeey, I'm back. I appreciate you guys keeping the IMing to a minimum and the new subplot with the infected wildlife. Right now, I'm recovering from spending 12 hours on a bus with a gaggle of engineering students and still hyped up about the fact that I got to talk to an MIT recruiter. I'll put up a lynch tomorrow. For realzies.

OOC- Ok, Pie, this is your chance. Entertain me. Why are you not the killer? If you do well enough I'll even change my vote to Siggaurd.

OOC- Impressive. I am now swayed by Sorrow and will vote Siggaurd, but I think it's still not enough. You'll need a a couple neutrals or Larenxis or Purps.

OOC: I didn't read the lynch, since it was pilled under at least 20 pages somewhere, so I'm just pretending like I wasn't there. But the way the Sorrow's carrying on like it was everyone else? My vote goes to him.

OOC- There hasn't BEEN a lynch yet. You voted for Pie because everyone else was earlier, but you're free to change I think. There's only been one murder. The pace has finally slowed down, you should be able to get an idea of whats happening now. I'm not sure if this means Pie is off the hook or not.... I think it may be a tie, but then again, Pie can always vote Siggaurd.

IC- "Maeror, I've been thinking. You may be right about Siggaurd. More likely than Johnny anyways, the guy's just shaken up by all this probably. Maeror has more motive than any of us to do it simply because he's unstable."
