Zombie Apocalypse Squad (Cancelled !)

[Sparrow gathered round the ZAS squad, and sat down next to Sam]

Theres no easy way of saying this, so I'll just come out with it. As you may have noticed, Sam is infected and we've acquired a dog. Sam and Robin, the dog, rescued me after I got the shit kicked out of me by some pyscho wolves.

The point is, whilst all this happened, the Doc caught a nasty virus of some kind. He wasn't going to pull through, so I opted to put him out of his misery.

[Sparrow edged backwards in his seat.]

So, any questions?

 

[SamuelT]

"Never been better." He told Andy. He streched and leaned against the table on which Duke was placed. The man was healing, he'd probably wake before sunset, but it had been close. He smiled when he remembered everything Doc told him.

"Y'know, losing stuff like that isn't that big of a deal. You can still remember them in here." He tapped his forhead. He saw Andy's look of confusion.

"That's what you kept in those bags, didn't you? Stuff that reminded you of home, letters, stuff like that, right?"

[And now, Sparrow's post happens.]

 

[ZapperX]

Ahem. If I may... PREVIOUSLY ON ZAS!

Zapper's Log, May 19.

We all were captured by resident guards at Portal's secret lab. We escaped, and were treated for our radiation. Portal took a doctor there, good looking woman, and she's with us now. We've reunited with the rest of the group, and Doc's dead. Sparrow killed him.

IC: WHAT??

SPARROW!

*Grabs his shirt collar, lifts him up*

HOW COULD YOU? HE COULD HAVE MADE IT!

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel put a hand on Zapp's shoulder and pushed lightly. Zapp turned his head and saw Samuel shake his head.

"Zapp, I was there. He couldn't have made it. He slipped into a coma, and you can't treat maleria without proper equipment."

 

[Sparrow]

[Sparrow tapped Samuel on the shoulder]

It's ok, Sam. Zapp knows theres nothing we could've done. It's just a little hard to keep it all bottled up, especially after the shitstorm we just went through.

[Robin whined softly, and Sparrow lent down to him and stroked him gently]

We're going to Wales. First thing in the morning. Obviously you don't have to come, but Wales should be a relative safe haven. We need to get out of here soon, and the Warship can only handle one more flight.

 

[AndyMacK]

*Andy's look of confusion relaxs as she half-smiles at Sam*
"Yeah..."

"Thank you"
[No, now Sparrow's post happens ]

"Doc's dead?"
*Taking a deep breath, she swallows*
"..."

 

[ZapperX]

*Drops Sparrow*

No... Not Doc... Why Doc?

He was so kind, he had no secrets... Doc...

If I was there, I could've done somethuing. Its my fault, first her, then him, now Doc... Everyone I hold close dies, and its all my fault. *Pats his back* All I have... Left of him... Nothing from her but her love, nothing from Doc but his bandages...

*Begins to cry*

Why, dammit? WHY?

 

[Dorian]

*Shoves Kadesha into a small broom closet*

You can rot in there for as much as I care. I might have forgiven that machine, but joining Aperture just to bring me down? Unforgivable.

*Slams the door shut and leans a chair against the doorknob so she can't escape*

*Shakes his head* And to think I once called her 'Sister'....

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel put a hand on Zapp's shoulder, again, and said:

"I know, man. I know. Just...go hit something for a few minutes. That helped for me."

He stood and looked around. He caught Chris's gaze, who looked surprisingly sad. Samuel had thought that he wouldn't be that sad about Doc's passing, because he had only known him for a few weeks. But it would make sense that the man who saved your life a few times would become dear to you.

"So...what happened on your end? And who's that woman?"

 

[Sparrow]

[Sparrow sighs]

Get some sleep. We're going first thing in the morning. I'll do some repairs throughout the night.

We've got a long day ahead of us tommorow. Make sure your ready.

[Sparrow turned to Sam, who was speaking to Chris.]

Sorry to butt in, can I borrow Sam for a minute?

[Takes Samuel to the side]

I gotta' make a quick stop in England. I know you got family there Sam, so I was thinking maybe we could pick em' up on the way. Plus, I got my own thing to do there. It shouldn't take long.

[Sparrow patted Sam on the shoulder]

I'm going to work on the Warship. I'll try not to get myself killed this time.

OOC: Thats all from me for tonight, I'll be on at my regular time

 

[ZapperX]

*Walks away*

*Roars*

*Stabs sai into ground repeatedly*

[I've become a scribbler! Yay!]

Samuel was wandering inside the APC, looking at the numerous changes made. There was a second turret, good. The passagers compartment was smaller, but the space was well spent. He saw Shar sitting behind the control panel, no longer one of the undead. He smiled at him.

He walked out of the APC, satisfied. The vehicle had been overdue for an upgrade and repairs. Sparrow was climbing up and down the carrier and walking in and out of the hold. He was having a permanent grin on his face. Robin was sitting a few meters away from the plane, shaking his head.

Samuel thought about Sparrow's plan, to pick up both their relatives. Strange, because he had said that it was the last flight this plane would ever make. But he longed to be with his wife and daughter again.

If only it wasn't so dangerous.

 

[ZapperX]

*Goes into APC, sees Sam*

She's pretty beat up, isn't she?

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel started from his musings.

"Yeah, she is."

He looked at the muddy and damaged daggers in Zapp's hand.

"So, did you get it out of your system?"

 

[ZapperX]

Yea... Its just... The last time I saw him... I never would've guessed...

*Sees Sam looking at the sai*

They're probaly better like this... They'll hurt what I'm stabbing more.

 

[Dorian]

*Walks over to universal portal and makes sure everything is still alright*

Well.... this ship's going to need a lot of work to fly again.

*Grabs a toolbox, jumpsuit, and an outdated name-tag*

Samuel looked at the sky again, the sun was already setting. This day went by incredably fast...But with the gathering of the mechanics and the arrival of old friends, time had passed fairly quick.

He felt the first tell-tale pains of his body turning into a wolf. He massaged his temples, before saying.

"I've got to go, outside. I'll see you tomorrow."

He ran out of the APC and away from the carrier. Several mechanics watched him run past them with a confused expression.

Samuel sought shelter beneath a few pines and waited for the change to end. After moments, which seemed to take forever, he was wolf again. He had been waiting for this. He wanted to track down the pack of wolves. He had killed many wolves last night, but his feeling of revenge wasn't satisfied.

He ran silently and swiftly, towards the border. Like a shadow he passed the barricade and saw the carnage of wolven-bodies still there. He could follow the scent and trail away from the battle. He grinned. This would be a bloody night.

 

[ZapperX]

*Zapper watches in horror as Sam changes from behind a tree*

Oh my... Him too?

*Sam bounds off*

I can't let him get himself killed.

*Follows*

[Is it a full moon?]

(sees zapper run off)

(with his stonger ears (thanks to it being night))

so the hunt is on...

(starts running in the direction zapper is going)
