Zombie Apocalypse Squad (Cancelled !)

[Sparrow]

[Over intercom] More than enough. What'd you think I was doing out there last night, playing Barbie's Horse Adventures? This baby is filled to the brim.

[Sparrow turned up the jets, and the Warship slowly rose upward.]

[Over intercom] Skies look clear folks, this should be pretty simple.

[Sparrow stuck the jet's lever fully foward, and the Warship gained casual speed, advancing onward into the sky.]

[Over intercom] Next stop, Wales.

 

[Dorian]

[I thought we were going to find out your history before you got rid of her though.]

*Shakes his head* And to think I once called her 'Sister'....

[Already done.]

*Portal drags Kadesha to the entrance to the warship, making sure that they were at a high altitude*

You have done so much to me. I took you into my labs when they all turned into zombies, and what did you do to me? Hell. You intentionally destroyed my work on the cure, made the damned curse machine, and BETRAYED me to Aperture! And why, oh why, did you do it, my one and only living blood relative?!?

[sup]You simply deserve no kindness! You were their favorite.[/sup]

ME?!? They gave you whatever you wanted and you call ME the favorite?!? Well.... sister...... it's time to repay the debt.

*Portal opens the warships cargo doors*

 

[ZapperX]

*Leans foward in chair, puts head in hands*

*Thinking* Sam has become... A monster! After what happened last night... It was terrible! It was like he enjoyed it!

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel woke. He seemed to have the same sleeping problems as Sparrow had when he got infected. Samuel had fallen into a coma-like sleep for what seemed to him a full hour. Robin had put his head on his hand and had fallen asleep too. Samuel gently pulled his hand from under the warm jaw and unbuckled the restrains. He got up and streched. The others had moved out of the APC and the doors at the back were open. The warship was rumbling and rocking under Sparrow's hand.

He stepped outside and reckognised Sparrow's voice over the intercom.

"....And what about airplane-food, what's up with that?" He said. Samuel shook his head. From the looks of the other ZAS members he derived that Sparrow was going at this for a while already. And from the enthousiasm he Sparrow was talking with that he thought that he was very good at it. Some of the others nodded when he walked past them. They seemed in a better mood then ususal. Why wouldn't they be, they were safe for now. He saw Portal talking to that strange woman again near the hold doors.

He walked towards the cockpit of the carrier, planning to sit there for a while. He glanced out of the window when he saw a small head peeking inside. When he looked at it, the head dissapeared and a bird flew away. Samuel shook his head, and looked closer. He didn't see anything. Thinking of it as a sleep-induced day dream, he continued towards the cockpit.

 

[AndyMacK]

*Andy is attempting to get some sleep; "Sleep now, zombie apocolypse later". She piled her remaining belongings in the APC and went back outside. Finding a nice spot some distance away from the other so as not to seem rude, yet close enough that... she curled up with her rifle and closed her eyes.

Sparrow waffled on and on over the intercom. Andy smiled - it was soothing, in a way*

[Passage of time was here]

*She awoke to a breeze around her ankles and heard yelling close by. Sitting up and looking around, she saw that the cargo door was open. Framed in it, Portal and Chris were arguing loudly, Portal holding the hostage doctor woman by the collar - it looked like he was trying to push her out!*

 

[Sparrow]

[Sparrow leaned back, and sighed. He didn't want to have to lie to the crew, but it was time he thought about his own feelings for once.]

[Over intercom] We gotta' make a stop guys. Won't be long. We'll drop down in England, I got some repairs to do quick. We'll be up and running before you know it. Sam, can you come in here? I need to talk to you privately.

 

[SamuelT]

Samuel bumped into Chris when he was about to enter the cockpit. He told him about Portal, and Chris said he would handle it. Samuel was sure he would. He had turned in quite the leader since they first met. He held great respect for him.

He opened the door leading towards the flying compartment and closed it behind him, shutting out the noise of the hold. He sat in the chair next to Sparrow, who was concentrating on the mass of dials and meters in front of him.

"Talk to me, Sparrow"

 

[Sparrow]

[Sparrow sighed]

We're landing in England now, more precisely, Kent. Theres the remains of an airfield near Dover. We'll use that to land, and then I'm going to make a b-line for my family. What about your family? Are they nearby? Hopefully I can pass this off as a simple routine check for to the rest of the crew...

 

[SamuelT]

Kent, Kent! Out of all places, Kent. This had to be coincidence, or an act of a forgotten god.

"Maidstone, we've lived in Maidstone for quite some time. They'll probably be there. I could get them from there and towards Dover fairly quick."

The sounds in the hold started to get louder. He was starting to get worried.

 

[Sparrow]

[Sparrow brightened up. At least this way he wasn't being completely selfish. He got to help Samuel out in the process.]

[Over intercom] We're landing now, so stop pissing about back there.

[Sparrow overided the cargo hold's door, and it shut firm, as it cracked in place. He hadn't thought to look at the loading hatch. It was safe to say it had probally broken.]

Alright Sam, we'll land somewhere inbetween. I'll head straight for my family, and then I'll back you up finding yours.

[Sparrow pulled out the landing gear, and pulled back on the throttle...]

OOC: Try to keep this thing in the air folks, I'll open up with out impending doom tommorow! Try develop on Portal's story maybe. I'll be on early tommorow.

 

[Dorian]

Chris! You stay out of this! You have no right to stop me getting revenge!

*Slowly edges to the end of the hold*

She's done some unforgivable things to me! You would do the same!

Shar just sat there, he was tired, he'd gone through alot these past couple of days, with the whole zombification thing, one hell of a rollercoaster ride..

"...you would do the same!..."

Shar looked round to see Chris and Portal arguing, Portal was holding that woman and looked like he was going to throw her out. Shar stood up and looked at Portal.

"Portal. leave the woman alone, we haven't got many survivors, and we should probobly try to avoid losing any-more, she cured me, that means she's on our side, i don't care what she's done before, just deal with it and leave it, we're in a bit of a world-wide crises here"

OOC: The PM's aren't working for me and Sam, but we'll try again soon. Btw, we're landing in Kent. More specifcially, Dover. Near the south-east coast.

 

[Sparrow]

[Sparrow peered outside the window of the Warship, as he saw figures moving. He pulled the Warship down, as he only then figured out the identities of the people outside. The Warship hit the ground hard, as the landing gear gave way, and shook plane side-to-side as the survivors inside we're flung to the walls of the loading bay. Sparrow turned to Sam]

Shit! We're fucking surrounded! This place is overun!

[Outside, the now clear figures of the zombies began to pound against the Warship's sides, ripping the armour apart. Samuel stared at Sparrow in horror, as he turned on the intercom]

[Over intercom] Load your weapons! We're surrounded!
