"What? No-way! why would i want a cure for this? this is the best thing that every happened to me!"

"When i was just a normal, genius kid, I was never accepted, I was never a team player, i could never actually do anything other than think and Hypothesise, even my own parents were sick of me, they just couldn't stand me, so they sent me away to boarding school, in which i took a hell of a lot of bullying, It was only through sheer chance i didn't get turned into a proper zombie like everyone else, i was hiding in a shed from the bullies, when the zombies descended on the school, eating and turning everyone there was, even then, i couldn't do anything, nothing except listen to the screams of my classmates and teachers. When i got...this... that changed! i'm strong, i'm fast, I can communicate with some of the zombies, this is great!"

"Oh, and sure, ill try the turret xD"

"Yeah, i understand."

He paused.

"But, without these abilites, what am i? I'm just a kid! i can't shoot, or fight, or anything like that, It'll just be the same as hiding in the shed, hiding in the APC as i watch my friends get hurt or killed, unable to do anything except sit there and hope.."

I'm kinda worried about what unzombified shar would have to contribute to the group, he is just a kid...

 

[Sparrow]

[Sparrow woke gently, on a bale of hay. He grabbed his stomach.

His wound had been bandaged, and he was no longer bleeding. No doubt his healing abilites had something to do with the matter, but he'd been bandaged. Maybe by the survivors? He sniffed the air.

No such luck. Wolves surrounded him on every side. As he surveyed the room, he realised. This was no room, this was a prison.]

Samuel reached the tunnel where 1+2 dog broadcasted. He hadn't gotten any transmissions on his portable radio. Good. The others probably didn't even know he sprinted away. He could smell the coppery scent of blood. THis was what he dreaded. He ran into the tunnel, and saw two red lights dissapear into the distance. Perhaps it was Zapp, or a few of the militairy. Perhaps even Duke.

He reached the door leading to the studio. He could see splatters of the dark-red blood he recognised as Wolf-blood. This wasn't good. He could see a body, stuck between human and wolf. It was still hairy, and had a tail. But the face wasn't wolfish anymore. A pool of blood surrounded him.

He ran over to the door of the studio and wrenched it open. Darkness. He grasped around for a light-switch. The lights went on. No one. Zapp's things were gone. Sparrow's bag was still there.

He walked outside again, and sighed. This wasn't good, not good at all. Then he heard the sound of padded feet running over concrete. He raised his hand-gun and aimed at the spot the sound originated. A dog, unusually large but not wolf, lept from the shadows. It was bleeding from its side and looked feral. Samuel stared at it for a few seconds...

Shar was tormented, torn between zombie and life, he had to make a choice.

He wasn't sure, he'd have to sacrifice so much, but he'd gain so much, he was almost beginning to look at chris like a father figure, and he didn't want to hurt any of his friends, but he didn't want to lose his powers....

"I...I'll do it."

 

[Sparrow]

[The dog stared deep into the human's eyes. He felt as if he understood the deep feelings he hid. He most likely did.

He could not converse with him. This much was obvious. He barked at the survivor, and indicated him to a pool of blood. The boy's blood. He sniffed it, and stared straight back at the human.

Hopefully he could understand what he meant.]

*Andy flys through the portal and lands heavily on the other side*

Oof! Oof! Must've softned recently - normally I'd never let myself say that. No matter, it shall not become a recurring incident. On a related note, I'm not sure that carrying both the rifle and packs at the same time as wearing body armour is possible. For me. I'd better find somewhere I can hide these for a wee bit - the rifle too, infact. If my beauty has any flaws, it is that the cartridges are huge(!) and that I can't use it up close. To anyone else, those would be big disadvantages, but I don't plan on letting anything dead get closer than the end of this barrel ever again...

Still... I should probably find something to protect me at close range.

/Duke- grabbing the radio.

/On the radio.

"Timmy, James... Start hitin' up the channels and see if you guys can get a hold those fellas out in that APC"

[Another RP had 'several weeks of enjoyment' and only 26 pages. We're going for the hundred. =)]

Samuel looked at the dog, ready to shoot if it jumped him. The dog barked, and Samuel flinched. It padded over to the blood against a wall, away from the wolf-body. It touched it with its snout and barked again at Samuel. It stared at him for a second.

Help me

The words seemed to resonate through the tunnel. The dog ran away. Samuel followed immediatly. This dog had something to do with Sparrow vanishing. He wouldn't let it get away.

Shar was still in the back of APC, and was now a bit bored

"So, how do we know where zapper went anyway?"

He took Sparrow with him, but not the dead wolf.

[The dog had his attention now. The human was following him.

Suddenly he drew a blank. He may be running in the direction of the boy's location, but if his scent was right, which it always was, they were atleast five miles from their position.

The dog stopped, and signaled to an abandonned jeep.

The human must know how to drive one, he assumed.]

Samuel ran after the dog out of the tunnel. Judging from the wound on its side, it was wounded badly. Blood poured out of a gash, but it ran faster than he could. Suddenly it stopped and sniffed around for a bit. Samuel tried to catch his breath before the dog picked up the scent again. It ran away into some bushes and barked. Samuel ran after it.

It was sitting in an abandoned jeep, with two bodies still inside. It put one paw on the steering wheel and barked again.

Drive

Samuel pulled a body out of the car. Sorry mate, He thought We're going to need this a bit more then you will. Both the man and women had died of slash wounds. He sat in the seat and tapped with his fingers on the steering wheel. It had been a while since he had driven a normal car.

"So" he asked the dog, feeling slightly ridiculous. "Where to?"

[Hey all, been off a while and seems like story is still rolling, good. I am not going to be able to update/play along/do other stuff for until like thursday. I am not telling that school is pointless but it do take away your time...]

[The dog seemed baffled.

Was it possible he could comprehend his speech? They were both more alike that he had thought.

He could only hope he would understand him once more.

East, he barked.]
