Zombie Apocalypse Squad II [Closed]

[Dorian]

The ground reverberated constantly, as if some behemoth was stomping around.

"What on Earth is it?!? A dinosaur?!?"

A great howl rattled through the town.

Jason licked his teeth, as he always does when he thinks quickly. He ran through the door into his house, opened the cabinet, and paused.

Jason panicked. Either they run and hide, which they can't because of the wall he'd built, or they stand and fight, which they can't win. Unless..... He opened the secret compartment and grabbed the orb of light blue light.

Everyone has played games here I presume? Think of this as a really big Tank from L4D.

Jason returned to the garage. Alfie gaped at the light blue orb casting off the light. "What in the Hell is that?!"

He shook his head. "No time! I need some way to fire this as a bullet! Does anyone have a rocket launcher, catapult, slingshot, ANYTHING like that?"

"How about an arrow?" Sjors asked. He felt a bit stupid by bringing it up while he didn't know what the hell was going on.

"I can shoot one quite far."

 

[Sparrow]

Derrick and Alfie were leaning against the opposite sides of the wall, whilst Flo stood in the doorway.

"This thing must have come to sweep up the survivors of the first attack. Christ, how could a zombeh get that damn big?"

Alfie noticed Jason tinkering with some object, telling everyone he needed to hurl it at the enemy.

"Can't you just get a certain distance and throw it? What's the blast radius?"

 

[Dorian]

"I can't throw it. It needs to be going at high speed for it's power to be awakened."

"How about an arrow? I can shoot one quite far."

"Perfect!"

The archer gave him an arrow. Jason went to his workbench and used some twine to tie it into place. After a few tries, he got it good and tight. He handed it back to the archer.

"I'll need that orb back."

"Sure, but what will it do?"

"My guess is 80% of disintegration, 17% of burning a hole straight through it, and.... er..... 3% of...... making it nigh indestructible...."

Sjors took the arrow with a feeling of forboding. A three percent chance of death was too big of a chance to take, but this person seemed to know what he was doing. He put the arrow on his bow and pulled the sting back.

It was just like shooting with the tip-heavy arrows. He had done this before, and could do it again. Just had to aim upwards to compensate for the height-loss. He aimed and let the arrow fly. It went almost a hundred meters before descending. Then it struck the monster...

 

[Dorian]

... And it burned a hole straight through it's chest, leaving a gaping hole where it's heart would be. It screamed a horrible scream, making everyone clasp their ears to protect them. Blood spurted over the ground it was ambling over, making seem as if it left a trail of darkness. As it neared the wall, it began to sway side to side, then fell on the section that had been repaired twice in the last day and a half. Over the sound of crunching wood and bending metal, many heard a faint voice yell, "Oh, come ON!"

Jason walked over to where the trail of blood began and retrieved the arrow. The orb was still intact, although smeared with gore. He took out his towel and cleaned it off, letting the blue glow radiate onto his pale skin once more. He stuffed the orb into his big right pocket and returned to the village. He went through the garage door into his house, made sure no one was looking, and placed it back into its hiding spot.

The red-head came back to the garage. "That was interesting."

 

[Sparrow]

"What the fuck was that thing? In two years I've seen some pretty messed up zombies, but that takes the piss!"

Alfie slumped down in a nearby chair.

"Sorry. This is just a bit too much for me. I'm tired, and I'm stressed. All I want to do is go home..."

 

[Midnight_Toker]

A sudden rubbleing Sent Dama to the ground, Looking up all he saw was a huge Zombie scream in pain and collapsed as a blue ord burned through its chest. "what the fuck is going on"

after Staggering a bit and finaly it cam crashing down on the section of wall they had just replace for the 3 fucking time "Oh, come ON!"

He started to get up when a small wave of the creatures blood smashed into Damas left side makeing the small cut he had Burn to high hell.

Standing up slowly and looking in the others direction with a glare

"CANT I HAVE JUST ONE NORMAL DAY WHERE I DONT GET COVERED IN GORE" Dama stormed back to his place to change.

 

[Dorian]

Jason wondered the same thing as Alfie.

"If that thing's been hiding for the last two years, then what else could be hiding? Where?"

 

[SamuelT]

"Perhaps recent contact with chemicals, or radiation?" Sjors said. He heard something, a rubmble. Like a car or train would make. It was very distant.

He looked towards the horizon, fearing another being like the last one attacking.

"Anyone else hear that?" He asked.

 

[Dorian]

Jason's head picked up.

"Yeah...... it sounds like........... an engine........"

Jason walked towards the wall, trying to find the source of the sound.

 

[Sparrow]

Alfie picked up his rifle, and made his way toward the sound. Jason seemed to be following him, whilst Sjors watched from a distance. The jeep slowly approached, parking somewhere inbetween the wall and the giant of a creature they had just killed. Alfie pulled his rifle up to his shoulder, and aimed at the driver.

"Get out. Slowly."

 

[Sparrow]

Alfie lowered his rifle, and looked to the others.

"He's safe. Can't see any bite marks on him."

Jason looked over the jeep, from behind Alfie. He obviously wanted the parts for it.

"Oi. You.", Alife said pointing to the newcommer, "What you doing all the way out here?"

 

[Dorian]

"Can you tell us about him? I'm from America and came here on a boat. I've seen plenty of people."

Jason kept oogling the jeep's working engine.

"Uh.... would you also like a bargain? You give me any parts from the jeep I need, and I can help you find your brother in the Apocalypse Van?"
