"That would've been nice. But no...it took place in my neighborhood, kinda I mean. Everything had a weird bluish glow. And then I was walking around and their was some big eighteen-wheelers on the street. And, like a part was going on. And Kanye West was there and we had a sing off...And then it switched into some weird, Chinatown type area and I was, like a sixth grader or something and I went to school. The end," Adries recalled, looking kinda confused at her own story.

"That's...pretty wow. No more psychologically damaging events before bed for you. Did you or Kanye win by the way?" She teased, pulling her legs up onto the chair.

"At least it didn't have zombies doing thriller or anything!" she added, wiping tears from her eyes. "Phew. Ah, man. Those were some weird dreams. Anyways, I'm going to assume nothing has happened since I fell asleep. No monsters running around. No dying or anything like that?"

After giggling a little more, Lisa gave a slightly elated answer "No, no. Alan was awake for a little while, that's about it. It feels good that for once things are calm. Even if anything showed up your Uncle would kick it's ass."
"Yep. That's why it's safe here. I mean, if the army rolls in or anything then I would say we might actually have a problem, but until then we're pretty safe. Oh, did anyone show you the gun room...closet thing?" Adries asked, putting down her soda and getting up to show Lisa.
Ivan drove on. Suddenly, when he got to the Bixler's house, something strange happened:

"No actually. Although Alan said that we'd gather some weapons from there before heading out." Lisa said getting up to follow her.
Christie heard the voices near the other side of the dining room door. Having snuck around back undetected. Counting to three in her head, she put all of her weight onto the door, kicking it open, she lunged for the person closest to the door, putting them into a restraining headlock and holding her Bowie knife close to her neck.

Ivan noticed a banging sound. fearing the worst, he ran around to the side and kicked in the dining room window, the rest of his body following suit. He brought up his pistols to bear and saw Christie holding a Bowie knife to someone's neck. He aimed at the back of Christie's head. "Put the knife down, and your brains don't end up all over the dining room floor." he commanded.
Adries gasped for breathe with the knife against her neck. "Holy shit!" she said, trying to wriggle her way free but stopping when the knife got closer to her neck. "What the fuck is going on!?!?! Shit! Ivan, don't shoot at all! I don't want you to hit me!"
"Good point." Ivan knocked the knife out of Christie's hand, away from Adries while protecting her neck. Ivan then threw Christie to the ground and put her into an arm bar. "What were you doing?" He asked.
Christie couldn't help but laugh. Her arm seized up from the position but she remained relaxed.
"So, Good evening, Miss. Bixler, Lisa, Guy who has personal space issues. How have things been treating you? I was actually looking for Jack. Have you seen him anywhere? We need to talk." She asked her voice teeming with patronizing tone.

Ivan laughed at Christie's comments. "Funny coming from the chick who just held a knife to my friend's throat. Anyway, what in hell would make you think that Jack would be with us?"
"To be honest, I wasn't expecting you here. See after Jack decided to leave me for dead, i didn't have many ideas about where he would go. He got a head start, alongside a car, I assumed he went to somewhere safe to fix whatever wounds your brother gave him. Oh well, we all make mistakes and about the knife? I'm just quirky like that." Christie replied with some sarcasm.

"Well, sorry you're injured but you just tried to kidnap me," Adries responded, having everyone slowly move to the den. "Alright, everyone just calm down. Ivan, be nice and let her go, but keep your gun on her. She seems to only have her knife.

Ivan let go, not able to stop himself from uttering a "Woof." He took out his pistol and sat down in a conveiniently placed chair. he kept the pistol aimed steady at Christie.
"Actually. I wasn't planning to kidnap you. I could've just as easily taken Lisa at knife point. I was going to hold you as hostage, take a few guns and then be on my merry way after realizing there was no other reason to be here. But now that you mention it, I could have couldn't I?" Christie explained remaining cool as she paced the living room.
Lisa gave a sigh.
"Isn't there a spare room or somewhere that we can put her for the time being? Or restrain her?"
"I'm in actual shock. You are giving suggestions sister!"
