Christie tried the window, quickly kicking in some of the wood as quietly as she could, then deciding upon something else. She silently climbed onto the bedside table and reached for the vent. She pulled out her swiss army knife and used the knife to undo the screws. She lowered the vent and placed the hatch on the bed.
She held onto the side of the vent and pulled herself up. It was claustrophobic and dusty but she could handle it.
