"Ah, That just shows how much I'd fail at being a scientist eh?" She smiled at the chugging comment before letting out a yawn.
"The things i'd do to get back to bed...Oh well. I guess bandaging people up will keep me alert. Hey but at least you'll meet people that won't bleed all over you, Adries." Lisa sighed, disinterested with the idea of work and folding her arms.

"Oh yes. Instead they'll just tell me all about how 'useful' they can be and constantly ask questions," Adries said with a roll of her eyes.
"Stop talking about how much you'll hate it and go do it," Alan told her, getting a punch in the arm for it, "What the hell was that for?"
"For being right. Let's go to the fucking jobs," Adries said, giving her brother a hug (and getting punched in the arm in return) before heading out of the lab.

"Argh, the Orientation is all the way on the other side of the base of course," Adries muttered angrily, getting stopped multiple times by small convoys driving by.

"Poor Adries." Lisa chuckled before heading over; giving a farewell hug and peck on the cheek to Alan.
"See you later. Good luck and keep up with the good work, right?"

((Gotta go for about 20 minutes.))

Just a quick thought...

If Zombie High was to become a movie, what actor/actresses would you think best play your character(s)?

"I shall," Alan said, waving goodbye before pouring himself into his work again.

Adries said goodbye to Lisa once they got to the clinic, and made her way to the main hall. She sat in the back with a few other people, getting briefed on what they should do. They were given clipboards to write everyone's names down, and told to wait while the orientation speech happens. Adries was bored out of her mind, it didn't help that the speech only happens every few hours.
"I should just say I was here and ditch," Adries muttered, getting a few looks from the other volunteers.

((I would say a Ryan Gosling/ Edward Norton look for Alan. I can't think of anyone for Adries (though if it's any help the initial idea of her was of Sam Manson from Danny Phantom). Albert was kinda based off Lemmy Kilmeister, so yeah take that how you will. Kaufman I would say an older Ralph Fiennes. Jacobs would be Cillian Murphy (which is pronounced Kill-ian, fyi). There! I just spent like and hour figuring that all out! Happy!?>!?!?!?!))

Lisa waved to Adries before reporting herself to Dr. Westin. The clinic was still slightly busy but it wasn't as hysterical as when she had been treated yesterday. She was greeted from the Doctor after she finished treated a minor cut on a soldiers' hand. She asked Lisa what experience she had as medic.
"Advanced first aid. I can manage quite a lot of injuries. I can't do surgery but i can patch up a lot." She answered respectfully.

((Not so sure myself, Lisa I have no idea about, probably someone like Mischa Barton. Definitely a younger Laura Harris for Christie just with black hair instead. That's...just amazing tsatoma...XD))

((Heh, Laura Harris does remind me of what Christie looked like in my imagination! :D Oh and thank you, it is amazing...amazingly sad!))

"Patching up is good," Dr. Westin said, thinking about where she could put Lisa's skills to use, "I would say you'd do well going out with the teams, but I know you probably wouldn't want that...nor would you be allowed to. I guess you can do the more simple injuries while myself and my son can work on some of the surgical injuries."

Adries had fallen asleep during the speech itself, and was abruptly awoken by the other volunteers when the new batch of the civilians came over to ask questions and to volunteer.
"Well, I'm a great zombie killer! I must have killed at leas 53,594 zombies by now!" proclaimed one guy.
"Really?" Adries asked.
"Well yeah of course! So many groups of survivors wanted me. And then they started to fight each other because one side wanted to call me 'Zombie Massacre!' and the other wanted 'The Zombinator!'"
"Yeah I give up. I'm assigning you to toilet duty."
"Wh-what? But my skil-"
"Will be used in the bathroom, have a nice day."

((Haha. Nah it's not too bad. 8D))

"That's no problem-" Lisa started but was cut off by loud moaning near the main entrance, "...i'll take that as my first job?"
Dr. Westin gave a assuring nod and went to go and deal with another patient.
Rather nervously, she walked towards the main door where an man had a large gash above his eye, being escorted by a soldier.
"What happened here?" She asked.
"He tried to enter a permitted area and wouldn't leave."
"I see...um, follow me."
"I'm not being treated by a kid!"
"...I'm not a kid, do you want to be treated or not?"
"...Fine. But if you mess up, I'm gonna make sure they hear of it."
She sighed as she led the scowling man to a table to clean and sew up the gash.
How long until this is over?

Adries banged her head against wall, having to deal with a bunch of idiots claiming they have useful skills.
'The only useful person was the fucking pastry chef,' she thought to herself as the last few people left. "FINALLY! Later losers," Adries said, before being stopped by Conroy.
"Sorry, but you need to turn in your clipboard and tell us about the notes you wrote down," he explained.
"I was supposed to write notes?"
"....maybe you're not suited for this."
"Well duh. Here's my clipboard. I'll go find another job," Adries said, handing him her clipboard and walking to the exit. She stopped and turned to them, yelling 'I quit!' before leaving. 'Let's go check on Lisa,' she thought to herself, heading back to the clinic.

After sewing up the gash, he continued to complain, saying that he was being put in the dark with the rest of the civilians. The soldier who had escorted him took him away, thanking her before going off towards the holding cells.
Lisa was then called over to treat a pair of cooks who had spilt boiling water on their hands, A soldier who had taken a bullet in the shoulder from the firing range, A few turned up with incredibly minor injuries that had angered her slightly and A woman who had passed out from exhaustion.
She finished up telling the woman that she had permission to stay in bed from Dr. Westin, before sitting on a empty bed and waiting for more work.
Thankfully it's not too busy today. Ugh, I don't need to be here for much longer do I?
Lisa perked up when she heard the main door open, she expected another hypochondriac or some clumsy fool but saw Adries.
"Oh, Hey. They let you off work already?"

"More like I quit. My god I had to deal with idiots! How did they survive? Gah, I'm going to try to find another job to do around here," Adries complained, taking a seat across from Lisa. "I think my next one might be cooking or something. Anyways, enough about my job how has yours been?"

"Yeah, I could understand that, The majority of the people i've seen don't seem too bright. I mean jesus, do i need to learn to say 'You're fine, that's a scratch, you don't need to be here, quit bothering me,' in another language?" Lisa sighed, swinging her legs slightly.
"Well. I'm only on minor stuff. So I'm fine. It's too bad that the job didn't work out. You're probably welcome to help here. Then again If you're going to work in the kitchens, watch out for the two morons with about four miles of bandage on their hands, they're clumsy as hell." she warned half-seriously.

"I'll keep that in mind in case I try it," Adries said, looking over at the supplies on the table next to her. "Honestly though I'd prefer to do nothing. Or hell, even be in one of those guard posts pretending I'm doing something. Sounds like you had a fun day though."

"Fun wouldn't be my choice in words. Irritating, fairly redundant and easy, perhaps." Lisa laughed. "You think i wanna be in here, instead of my bed? How long do you think we'll need to work until we can relax?"

Christie had a plan. It was only a sketch in her mind. It could fail, but she could pick herself up and try something else. She liked to call this the civil approach. She strolled towards the offices, halted by the guards.
"I need to speak with Alan. Just tell him that Lisa wants to speak to him quickly. There should be no problems."

"I say we go relax now, but that's just the rebel in me," Adries said, looking around the room, "I say lunch first, then some exploring for me. You can come to if you'd like, or you can stay here and heal people. Your choice."

The senior guard went inside, coming back after a moment and letting Christie through. Alan was still scribbling away, though now he was over near some chemicals and writing notes on them.
"What brings you he- oh fuck it's you," he said when he saw Christie.

((Watching Dexter now, won't reply for an hour. Sorry.))

"Ah, you're just a rebel without a cause, my friend. I might have to join you unless someone missing a head or something turns up, then I don't think i can. I'm not too hungry but i'll go and get some lunch with you though." Lisa replied, washing her hands at a basin after realizing she had some blood on them still.

"No such thing as good morning anymore? I'm heartbroken Bixler. I'm starting to think you don't like me." Christie smirked, closing the door securely behind her, then sauntering into the room.

((Ah might be asleep by the time you get back.))

((I think it's a tie between Robert Carlyle and Louis Ferreira. If you've seen Stargate: Universe, they are Rush and Col. Young. I would probably give the nod to Carlyle though if I had to choose between them. Honestly though, I think either of them would be an excellent Jack.))

Jack had shaved his face as best he could, he couldn't get his hands on any kind of a decent razor here so he still had some stubble left but it would do him fine. He sat on the bed and simply ran through calculations in his mind. It wouldn't be right to him unless the things he had spent his whole life wanting and getting to learn weren't the last things to run through his mind before he lost the ability to.

((Ahhh! I love Dexter. Oh and I'm back.))

"Yeah, best wash those. You might attract bears...or zombies. Bear zombies!" Adries said enthusiastically. "Alright, I'll wait for you outside the clinic, then we'll get something to eat then check around the base and get into trouble!"

"You're just barely realizing that?" Alan asked, watching her closely as she walked around the room. "Really though, what the hell are you here for? I was happy when I thought it was Lisa coming to visit, but now that I realize it's you I feel like killing myself."

"Oh god, not bear zombies, I won't put all of those maulings on my hands! Once i prevent this, I'll tell Dr. Westin i'm going for lunch, then we'll go." Lisa agreed as she rinsed the bacterial scrub away then went to approach the doctor.

"Yeah, well life's a *****. Can't A girl drop by to visit her favourite target? Anyway, What does she have that i haven't? Aside from the sickening ability to be won over so simply. But If you two didn't get along like that, I doubt it would've been so easy to get in here." Christie laughed, looking through a microscope while she spoke.

"I'd prefer if you don't touch anything," Alan responded, not amused with Christie, "She has a lot of things you don't have, for one the lack of wanting to kill me. I really appreciate that one. So, are we just going to continue this or are you going to tell me why you're here? Going to kidnap me again? Going to kill me? Going to simply stay here and annoy me like you are doing?"

Dr. Westin was busy in surgery after a civilian came back with a bullet in the torso. Her son was there and let Lisa go for lunch when she came to ask. "For some reason fewer injuries happen at lunch time," Westin told her before going back to his work.
