"I'm willing to help however i can too...but if the worst comes to the worst and he changes completely, we have guns & ammo. We can grit our teeth and stop him. How far is this station anyway?" Lisa asked.
"It's a little less than a mile away. you should be able to see it soon." Ivan said. Ryan started to moan. "hey, my passenger is starting to wake up. we gotta step on it." Ivan accelerated.
Ivan started to pick up people he didn't know on the radio. "Please help...Surrounded...in the radio tower...come quickly, out of weapons... "Hey guys, you hearing this? I think there's someone at the station alrea... Fuck." Ivan saw the station and it was surrounded 100 feet deep with zombies. He braked and parked about 300 feet away from the edge of the crowd. he got on the roof of his truck. "Holy crap, that's a lot of zombies. i think we should have gone to the mall."
"Yeah, the mall might be better," Adries replied, noticing the enormous horde. "Well, we should help them right?" Adries asked, opening up her door, grabbing all her sniper rifle ammo and climbing on top of the truck. She got into a comfy position and aimed, firing at the horde.
Damien noticed Adries killing the zombies one by one. He shook his head. "Too slow. they'll overrun us." He rummaged in the back of his truck and pulled out what looked like a modified shirt launcher. except this one looked like it launched cannonballs. Ivan shoved one of his explosives inside the launcher, got down on one knee, and launched it. the IED flew through the air and landed in the middle of the horde, taking out at least 50. He loaded another explosive and prepared to fire it. "Go big or go home, right? we have two choices: Blow the zombie army back to hell, or get their attention, lead them away to a minefield, and decimate the horde. Any prefrences?"
Jack had been speechless up until now. First the car chase, then the ordeal with Ryan. He finally found his voice again.
"Okay, if you can get us through the minefield alive and ensure that they all follow us, go with that. If you can't satisfy even one of those demands we blow them to hell."
Jack picked up his gun again and started firing at zombies.
Ivan noticed Ryan getting wild. "No, no, just calm down buddy. the twine is just to slow the spread of the zombie virus. we're on your side, see? These are your friends. we won't hurt you, i promise." a zombie had snuck up on Ivan while he was distracted. "Shit!" he punched the zombie in the chest so hard his fist went clean through to the other side. the zombie fell down dead. "Well, that wasn't supposed to happen. anyway, are you alright buddy?"
"Uh, Ivan. Do you think we can try to run over some of these zombies?" Adries yelled, firing on them from her safe vantage point, "I honestly don't think we can deal with all of them even with all the ammo we have!"
Ivan shook his head. "no. the sheer numbers would kill any momentum the cars could get. We would need a tank...! Adries! the propane tank over there! i'll drive it into them & blow it up! if it doesn't destroy every last one of them, it'll reduce them to manageable numbers. Cover me!" He ran over to the propane tank. Woe be to any zombies that got in his way.
"Propane tanks really do explode? I thought it would be just a wimpy little explosion! I've been lied to!" Adries yelled, firing at the zombies that were noticing Ivan's movement.
Lisa laughed at Adries' comment, She had given up mowing them down to watch the explosion. Blood & organs erupted and pasted the ground. She was unsure whether to look away but her eyes were locked. Ivan's truck seemed to be fine as it carried on. She took her .32 and continued to pick off the few that were attaching themselves to the U-haul.
One of the zombies got underneath the truck and clogged up the gearing. "Shit!" Ivan roared as he got out of the car. he started to sprint the last 100 feet to the propane tank. he brought up his left and right hands up, ready to crush all opposition. as he plowed through the horde, his fists were like 2-ton blurs. before his onslaught, the crowd parted like leaves from a storm. he had almost made it though the crowd.
50 feet...
40...
30...
20...
10...
suddenly, the zombies stopped and stumbled away. Ivan, panting heavily, lowered his fists and looked around. he saw a zombie that looked all muscle, with hammers for hands. "Ohhh, crap. this is not good." Ivan said as he brought the shotgun to bear.
Lisa held her breath when she saw Ivan disappear into the horde, She was confused as the zombies cleared the way. What the hell is that?
It was huge, it's hands grossly mutated and massive. It was a few feet bigger than Ivan who was pretty tall in the first place. Ivan was strong but she questioned whether he'd be able to take it down. She now had enough room to continue driving, she drove past the heavily mutated zombie in an attempt to draw some attention away from Ivan so he'd have the upper hand in killing it.
Adries held on tight as she sat atop of the U-haul, taking out a few zombies here and there as she watched Ivan run into the horde. "Yeah, that wasn't really smart..." she muttered.
((Time for some house cleaning. Yay.
You'll be able to join, no problem. If you didn't send him a private message I would say do that now since he may not be reading the thread right now.))
Hayley heard an explosion from nearby. Lifting her head slightly, she tried to get a better listen.
She shuffled around, moving some cardboard boxes and coats she was sitting on, ever since people had started going crazy, she had decided to hide in a closet.
"This is getting really stupid now." She said to herself, and opening the door slightly, she took a look at her surroundings.
She blew her long black fringe out of her face, but it just went back into place again.
Hayley saw a weird looking man stumbling past. Is he drunk at this time of the day? She thought to herself, as the man turned. His skin was a horrible greyish blue colour, like his flesh was dying.
She squeaked and shut the door, falling off balance in her rush and collapsing onto the cardboard boxes again.
She heard the shuffling getting closer, the man starting moaning creepily. This gets better and better. First a riot, now a scary guy is outside my hiding place. She said, as the man starting thumping against the door. Damnit, I'm gonna kill Chad... '
Code:
Meet me in the radio station babe, I promise I'll help you with your science test
' What a creep. She grumbled to herself, trying to distract her thoughts from the scary man still thumping against the door.
I hope this is okay >_> and I hope I'm not gonna get in the way of whatever story you guys had planned but yeah, hi? xD
btw I think the explosion was from the IED that Xero shot earlier, if this isn't any good then I can edit
The zombie completely ignored Lisa's truck and slammed a mighty fist towards Ivan. Ivan dove out of the way, barely avoiding becoming a pancake. He quickly drew a pistol and shot both of its eyes. it started to swing its hammers wildly, taking out zombies left and right. Ivan brought the other pistol into play. he shot the shoulders, then aimed at the kneecaps. the zombie fell to its knees. Ivan slid underneath and threw an IED backwards at the monster and ran for the propane. "In Pace Requiesat, fucker!" the bomb blew. nothing but ashes was left at ground zero. Ivan hoisted himself into the truck and drove it into the middle of the horde. he got out, threw half of his IED's at the crowd near the truck and ran for his life. he got in the car and burned rubber to get out of there. "Move!"
the tank exploded.
