Zombie High! Survival RP (Started)

[Xero Scythe]

"Good. i got the tank filled yesterday, so i should be good for a while." Ivan noticed a little possum on the road. it looked zombified. "Good news guys, the zombie virus doesn't affect all animals like the bird." He ran over the possum. "Hey, maybe we should hit the radio tower. it's close by and it broadcasts nation wide. Sound good to you guys?"

 

[tsatoma]

"I say we take a rain check on the mall," Adries replied, looking through the bags and handing Lisa some aspirin. "We just need some gas. No point risking our lives anymore then they already are."

 

[VaudevillianVeteran]

"Thanks, i didn't even know that we had some on us," Lisa took two and dry-swollowed them then continued to Ivan & Adries , "The radio tower sounds like a great idea. I'll fill up then we'll ship out."
She grabbed the .32 from her boot and jumped out of the car, she shot two that were shambling towards the truck, she went to the pump and started fill up.

"I'll watch your back," Adries replied, bringing out her Glock and shooting a zombie that was lumbering towards them. "The radio tower seems like a good idea. I never even knew that there was one!"

It would take a few moments for the truck to fill, she left the pump to fill itself, she shot a few zombies about a foot away. She felt an arm scratch against her shirt fabric, she quickly jumped and pushed it back before shooting it point blank in the face. She heard the pump click, Lisa quickly removed the pump and close the fuel tank before running towards the truck door and jumping in.
"We're good to go. Ivan d'you know the way? We'll follow you." Lisa said taking the break off and starting off slowly.

Ivan got out of his truck and covered Lisa as she filled up the pump. he climbed up the pole to the roof and found 7 zombies waiting up there. not wanting to worry the others with gunshots, he held up his fists and started bouncing on his heels. the zombies lurched towards him quickly. "Damn," he muttered, "They're quick." he sidestepped one and backhanded it. the back of its skull caved in. he used his momentum and slashed out at a zombie with the heel of his boot. he had so much momentum he knocked its head clean off. he disposed of the rest with quick jabs that went through them like a cannonball through tissue. he noticed one getting up, so he slammed down with his heavy boot and turned it into a zombie pancake. He jumped down. "all clear" he said. "Yeah, i know the way. follow me." he got in his car and drove off in the direction of the radio tower.

 

[Hollow Grimm]

Ryan slowly lumbered towards the rest of the group, He was scared.. His arm was mutating, His teeth were more sharp then ever, He had claws protruding from his knuckles.. Yet.. He still had control over his body..

He let out a moan, "Gu-Guys.. H-Help..."..

He saw them.. Its been so long since he had.. He missed them... Ever since he was left at the store and bitten.. By.. one of the... Undead..

He waved his claw hand trying ever so hard to gain their attention.. All he wants is to be noticed.. Just to see his friends again..

His Stomach growled.. Seemingly he must have been hungry.. Maybe.. Some food would help him.. He had a strange craving.. But he could not bring himself to think of it.. He needs his friends..

He finally made it up to the group..

Before she hit the gas pedal to follow Ivan, she heard a strange scared groan from Adries side, she looked in her side mirror to see someone on the verge of tranformation near her door. His face that seemed familiar looked a mixture of pain and fear as he shambled towards the door.
"A-Adries? I've seen him before...haven't you?"

"Holy shit, what the fuck is going on?" Adries said, pointing over to Ryan with her jaw dropped. "And what's with that Ivan guys killing these zombies like that? This world is fucking crazy! Let's head to the tower and check Ryan right there."

 

[Xero Scythe]

the new man walking up the group smelled... wrong. Ivan heard Adries give a gasp of recognition. "You know this guy?" then Ivan noticed the arm. "Shit!" he quickly grabbed the new guy and put him into a full body lock. "Someone get me some twine! Quickly! Don't ask why, just do it! I might be able to save him!"

 

[Hollow Grimm]

Ryan stared at them, "I-It hurts.. So much.. J-Just help.. Me.."...

He tried to get closer but fell to the ground, Most likely UN-Conscious...

He began to think to himself, "God.. Why.. Does this have to happen to me..."?...

Lisa could hardly take it, something about the last thing Ryan said before he went unconscious hit her hard.
"We'll take him with us, he's still got his human conscious, maybe we can treat him when we get to the radio station..." She reasoned with a saddened tone, passing the twine that she had got for Ivan from the back of the U-haul.

"Uhm, okay. What are you going to do Ivan?" Adries asked, helping out with holding Ryan down. "Don't hurt the guy though.'

 

[Xero Scythe]

"If we can cut off the flood of blood from his arm, we may be able to stop or slow down the virus. look, it's where the virus originated." He said as he tightly bound the arm.

 

[VaudevillianVeteran]

"That's very smart. Is there room in your truck for him? We better get moving." She asked quickly as she noticed that some zombies had seen that their gaurd was down.

 

[Xero Scythe]

"Yeah, i can hold him." Ivan lifted Ryan up and put him in shotgun. he shot a few of the zombies and got in the truck. "Follow me. Let's go."

 

[tsatoma]

"Alright then. Let's get back on the highway!" Adries said, shooting another zombie as they pulled out of the gas station, following Ivan.

Lisa still felt uneasy as they followed Ivan.
"...Do you think that we can help Ryan?" She suddenly asked, mowing down a flock o fzombies that were feasting on some poor guy who couldn't have outrun them.

"Probably not. Depends. Is it the scenario where we are all infected and as soon as we die we turn? If so, saving his life would keep him from turning," Adries replied, "But the more common thing would be that he's turning as we speak and there is nothing we can do."

 

[Xero Scythe]

"Maybe. I can tell you this though: if it is possible, i will find a way." Ivan checked Ryan. "He seems to be healthy, other than the glaring zombie problem. that means no complications if the need for surgery arises. we can cut off the arm if we need to. Zombies apparently don't attack infected, so he's safe from that angle. if we can get to the radio, the people we signal might have a cure. so far, the only problem I see is if he turns. if that happens, do you think you will be able to stop him?"
