"I guess I'll ride with Mr. Fletcher. Unless one of these other people can drive," Adries replied, pointing at the other survivors, "So, Lisa. Tell me about yourself. You're the only other girl in the group, so I'm happy you're here. It wasn't much fun this... sausage fest. I mean, I mainly hang out with guys anyway, but girls need another girl to talk to every once in awhile."
"Haha, I get what you mean," Lisa smiled, pulling herself up on the truck again, "I used to hang out with more guys than girls in my last school too. I moved here with my Mom after my Dad died about 2 months ago, since i came to Sly i didn't really know anybody. If you want to know something, i'm happy you're here too, I can relax more around you, I kinda feel like i'm not helping out as much with Jack and the guys." She confessed, scratching her head.
"I totally get what you mean. But you are a helpful asset to the team with your medical knowledge. And another person who can fire a gun is always welcomed," Adries said, looking around the room at everyone, "Let's see. I've always lived here; family helped found it. No one ever left this place except my uncle, but he only went a few miles away and is staying in the summer home. Lucky him. I plan, well 'planned' I guess, to be the first to go out and see the world. Heh, I guess I'll just have to now."

Where do you think we're going to be heading after the highschool? I doubt it's gonna last forever. I wonder if Hawaii is too big a stretch to relocate to? "Yep. That's my family legacy. I honestly don't know where I was going to go, and now I certainly don't. I always liked snow and forests, so maybe up north. Hawaii would be nice, but I hate beaches and the heat, so I'd probably only visit you in your zombie fortress," Adries said. It was great to have a simple chat with someone, or at least a chat that was happy and not depressing.
Ivan noticed a whistling sound. He looked up. a zombie had jumped off a roof and was heading right for the girls. "Shit!" he yelled. "Hit the deck!" the two immediatly obeyed. Having no time to draw out his pistol, he punched the zombie in the middle of its face. the zombie's face caved in as if it was made of cardboard. "Get moving!" Ivan yelled. "They're on the rooftops!"
Rolling to the side of the U-haul, she got to her feet and ran for the driver's seat, she quickly got in.

Now we have something akin to Hunters!" she yelled, getting out her rifle and firing at one of the zombies.

Ivan threw as much of the ammo into his truck as he could (which was a huge amount, amittedly)

A violent metallic banging started right above Lisa's head, She started the engine and started to drive, then did a sharp break, the zombie rolled down the windshield in front of the trunk which Lisa promptly drove over.
"That explains why the area was so clear, They were fleeing from these guys!" She cursed, after heading the *Thump* She expected after going over the zombie.
She started off down the road she used last night, but realized that leading these things towards the school was the worst idea. She tapped into the C/B.

"Sounds like a plan, You got it covered? I can run some of them down but try and get the sides." Lisa explained, taking a swift U-turn then mowing down a jumper that tried to jump at the windscreen. Another 3 or 4 jumped in unison causing her to swerve, almost hitting a wrecked school bus.
"I got it." Lisa muttered, Speeding up on then taking a sharp break, the jumped fell, hitting the hood, then landing on all fours and snarling. Without taking another thought, she hit the gas and ran it down.

Ivan snarled as he shot one that was trying to hitchhike on the back of his truck. "I think it's time for a little crowd control" He said, hefting a bomb and dropping back. He lit the fuse. "Take this, fuckers!" He yelled and threw the bomb. it exploded on impact and took out 7. one was on fire. More zombies jumped into their places. now it seemed there were 30-40 of them. Ivan swore. "Damn, look's like you were right. there are more of them." He put down the radio and accelerated to get a better shot at Adries' hitchhiker. He picked the radio up again.
"Yo, Adrian," He said, making fun of the Rocky movies, "Stop swerving so much. you got a zombie on your roof and i can't get a shot off." Adries complied and Ivan shot a single bullet. the now headless zombie slumped off onto the road.

"Well, if we can take these down at least the supplies will be safe, if more come on the way to the school, then we're just gonna have to stop and shoot. They seem to go down after a few shots."
The interstate was ridden with the corpses of mangled cars, there was a gas truck overturned and had apparently exploded in the middle of the road, Lisa managed to drive over the scrap metal one or two ran through the flmaes catching fire and slowly dying on the side of the road, beside the truck.

"This looks like fun," Adries commented, holding onto her seat as they drove over a few major bumps, "Hopefully there isn't a huge wreck where we can't move any farther. But, knowing the genre, now that I said it it will happen."
