"Holy shit, moving back," Adries yelled, jumping across the cars to head back to the end of the bridge. The incinerator was quickly moving towards them. It laughed as it threw some fireballs at where Adries was a few minutes before. "What the fuck, thank fuck I moved!" she yelled, jumping down to where Lisa was.

Alan looked over at the incinerator as he was shooting at a few zombies that had crowded around him. "Isn't this just peachy?!?" he yelled, looking at the cars being engulfed by the fireballs. It took him a moment to realize that he was extremely close to the edge of the bridge, and that one of the cars about fifteen feet away from him was hit by the fireball.

'Fuck,' he thought as it blew up. He was far enough away that he didn't get hit by it, but the car that was right in front of him pushed him right off the bridge along with it.

"Alright, something's up. Either you're jealous of Adries or you suspect something, since I know you aren't the jealous type. Would I be correct in assuming its option B?" Jack said more than asked. Jack realized what he had said one second to late.

Christie did something she rarely did. She laughed. It was smug, perhaps even condescending.
"Bingo. You just confirmed my suspicions or would you rather me say, suspect? suspect what? and carry on this charade? When this is over, I think we need *ahem* A group discussion."

Shit, shit, shit, shit...
She tried to move back, making sure not to step on Adries. She was relieved to see that Alan was still hanging on the other side, now she just hoped that the incinerator wouldn't take notice to him now.
"...What if we got the bridge to collapse? Would that extinguish this bastard?" Lisa muttered to her, side stepping and shooting.

"How the fuck are we supposed to do that? I don't have C4 or anything like that," Adries said, stressing out as she tried to make her way over to Alan from the side of the bridge. The incinerator noticed this and threw fireballs over to where she was heading, blocking off the left side of the bridge. "Ideas?" Adries asked frantically.

Alan groaned, trying to hold onto the bridge. 'Really wished I had upper body strength,' he thought. His hands were quickly slipping due to the wetness of the bridge. 'Fuck, fuck, fuck,' he thought as he looked below him into the water that he knew had zombies on the bottom.

"Oh well, I guess this charade is over, you may as well shoot me now. I'm sure Adries will if you don't. Name's Jack Fletcher and I'm, as you know, the physics teacher at Sly High. Though I would suggest we save this for later we may as well get it out of the way. I don't trust you for a second, let's just get this out of the way. Though I will say killing her isn't exactly the best way to go about things. I'm not stupid, the only reason she would have to have an alias is if you're out to kill her. So why don't we just drop the damn pretense until we like up with them all again, and you tell me what you're real objective is. It sure as fuck isn't to save anyone so stop trying to lie to me." Jack said.

"Alright. Want to give that distraction idea another shot? Alan looks like he's going to fall. One of us will run as fast as we can to help him up him up. The beams supporting that half of the bridge. One of them is loose from that truck collision over there. If we make it look like we're trying to shoot the beams it'll pay more attention to whoever had the gun. That's all I can think of." Lisa suggested, her eyes moving from between Alan to Adries to the snarling incinerator.

Before she could add anything, Christie's phone vibrated, "We'll save this talk for later."
"Bailey, Approximately 3 minutes from location, verify, for reference there is a heavily mutated infected on the bridge 2 minutes away, is that our goal?"
"Correct, release water on target and open fire if necessary. Time is of the essence."

"Alright now that you finished that, you were just about to tell me what your real mission is. Perhaps you could also tell me why your superiors saw fit to send you in to cover their asses at the cost of the American public while you're at it." Jack said with disdain evident in his voice.

"I guess that can work. Who's going to do what?" Adries asked looking over to the incinerator who was cackling. "You know what I'll go get Alan. You shoot the beams," she said, running on top of the cars to where her brother was.

Alan looked at Adries run towards where he was. 'Crap, I hope they have a plan,' he thought to himself, losing his grip with each passing second.

"Tsk. Tsk. Don't you know the saying Dinner and a movie first? How about why they sent me in as a starter? We will move onto the main course later," Christie said her tone still condescending and sharp, she sped off towards the bridge.
"I was only a few steps away from becoming a colonel when I got the call. About my duty. I had all of the assets needed for the mission. I was the difference between a suicide mission and a mission without failure. I had my family stuck in this place, they tried to bribe me with the idea of finding them. I was promised something much more enticing. Control."

Following the plan, she yelled at the incinerator firing at him and then aiming above him towards the beams. It snarled and threw a fiery car towards her, she dodged only just and continued with firing to enrage him more.

"Ahh, a sarcastic cut throat *****, and a superiority complex to boot. A woman after my own heart. If we're going to play this game though, I guess the next move is mine. As long as the spinner is pointing at you I guess I do have more questions. What might these assets be, other than the ability to jump like a trained kangaroo and the aforementioned cut throat bitchiness?" Jack sarcastically said.

Adries was almost over to Alan when she slipped on the top of a car and fell on it. "Fuck," she muttered as she tried to get up only to have her leg being pulled by something. She turned around and saw a zombie's hand grabbing her leg from an open sun roof. She worriedly tried to kick it off, but it had a firm hold. "Fuck!" she yelled, trying to get out her gun only to drop it by accident.

Alan saw his sister having difficulties with the zombie and reached for his pistol. 'This is such a bad decision,' he thought, aiming for the zombie through the back window and firing into it; hitting the zombie square in the face. He tried to grab a hold of the bridge with his hand, but couldn't do it before his other hand slipped. 'Goddamit,' he thought as he plunged into the water below them.

"Hm. If you continue that sweet-talking, I don't know what i'll do. And it's not a superiority complex if it's a fact. Where could i begin? I had knowledge about this town, I scored highest in the academy at both combat and firearms. I had high ranking. I had respect from all ranks below me and I know when to show respect. Here for example, I tried to be civil and a forefront for respect but you all lied to me. That's an breach of the law. It seems that while we were having our discussion, the rest of the group has...how should i put this? met some difficulties." She responded as they got to the bridge and onto the scene. The Helicopter flew above them on perfect timing.

Oh god... Lisa tried to inch her way to Adries. Her gun was out of ammo and she fumbled for bullets. The incinerator was growling...almost laughing as it raised another flaming car above it's head preparing to throw it at her. Then the sound came, the sounds of whirring helicopter blades and the search lights blinding her.

"Perhaps we can have dinner some time and continue exchanging these pleasantries." Jack said.

"And it is a superiority complex if what you say isn't true. You obviously weren't superior to your superiors, because they played you like a goddamn fiddle. They knew you wouldn't go with family rescue, so they made sure power was second. You wouldn't have gone for power if they threw it out first, because you would have known they would give you more. Instead they gave you power second and made it look like it was on the spot. They let you think you had the upper hand, but they really duped you.

By the way, you can have all the class medals you want, if you don't question orders that lead to this, you are a worthless excuse for a soldier. I knew Corporals with more honor and who were better soldiers than you. When you start to realize what is happening and think for yourself for once, let me know. In the meantime, we'll all be out here dying for an actually just cause." He finished as the hummer stopped. He got out of the car and moved towards the rest of the group.

((Grr, I was playing the demo and then I refreshed and the site was down for maintenance. Sorry I couldn't post.))

Adries quickly ran over to where her brother had fallen; tears streaming down her face. "ALAN!" she cried out, trying to find him in the dark water. After a few moments he surfaced, trying desperately trying to stay afloat.

"They'r- everywhere!" he managed to say between being pulled down by the zombies below. He started to make his way over to the shore, constantly going beneath the surface and resurfacing after a few seconds.

Anger filled Adries's eyes as she watched her brother struggle. "That ***** is going down," she said between her teeth, glaring at the incinerator.

Jack ran over to Adries and whispered quietly in her ear.

"We have a situation, but right now tell me what I can do to help kill this damn thing."

"We fucking stab it in it's heart multiple time and then we beat the shit out of it!" Adries roared in fury. She looked around for a gun but found nothing. "Shit, what are we going to do? Are those planes going to help or what? Shit, we have to help my brother," she said, watching as Alan climbed up onto the shore on the other side of the bridge.

((Going to bed. Night.))

"The helicopters are supposed to dowse the thing, but considering Christie figured out who we all are, we may be on our own." Jack said.

"Our best chance is to try and make it across the bridge and keep fucking going. We may get lucky and it will either be dowsed or attack Christie and take out at least one of our problems. What do you say? We all run to your brother and hope it kills the *****."

((Gonna hit the hay myself. Night all.))

Christie looked over to the incinerator with very little fear, she had the upper hand in this situation.
"I hope you are all ready!" She yelled from beside the car to the group. She had the phone in her other hand.
"Bailey, target is locked. Do we release?"
"If i don't respond in 30 seconds, release."

She finally clambered over a car, stomping on a zombie on the way. It didn't seem to care much about her now, the helicopters circled it and it remained vicious trying to hurl fireball after fireball at them but missing.
"Oh fuck, Where'd Alan go?!" Lisa asked finally catching up with them, almost out of breath, looking down to where he'd called.

Suddenly the monster notices how feeble his attempt to bring down the helicopter is. He stops shooting fireballs and thinks of a plan. Christie notices this.

"He's open! Douse him!" she yells into the walkie-talkie.

The Helicopter above him releases the water. It crashes over him like a roaring torrent.

"Target hit, returning to ba- wait a second. The target disappeared!" one of the pilots say.

Christie curses under her breath.

All of a sudden The Incinerator appears on the Helicopter. His appearance startles the two pilots.

"Looking for me?" he says in a sly tone.
