"Goddamit!" Adries yelled as she tried to make her way across the bridge, getting drenched by the water fallen in the process. She cursed again when she noticed the Incinerator on the helicopter. 'What can we do to beat this thing?' she thought, truly becoming afraid of this creature.

Alan coughed up some water as he dragged himself up the side walkway from the water. He turned around and saw the hands of the zombies trying to get him. 'Shit, losing consciousness,' he thought to himself as he moved his way up the walkway to get away from the zombies.

Gritting her teeth a little, she yelled into the phone,
"You incompetent Morons! What are you doing up there?! Alpha protect Bravo at all costs, shoot that thing! At least draw full attention away until I can consider an action! That's an order!"
It's smart...I have to think...

"I-I don't know." Lisa replied to Adries edging along the side of the bridge, aiming a pistol as best she could to help Alan, hitting a few but the distance wasn't helping. "When it's done with those helicopters, it's gonna go for us again. If we could find somewhere where we had the upper hand, we could finish it."

"I honestly can't think of a safe place," Adries told Lisa as she crawled over a car that was in their way. They were nearing the end of the bridge with all the exploded cars when Adries said, "I can't think of a way to get rid of him. That fucker is just too smart! I mean, would going to the fire department help at all? Shit, fucking smart zombie monsters!"

Alan watched Lisa and Adries make their way across the bridge, keeping an eye out in case the Incinerator decided to start attacking them again. He looked over his body to see the damage. The first thing he looked at was his torn up legs. They were completely ripped up from when the zombies grabbed a hold of him. 'So many bite marks, shit,' he thought, looking at his torso which had a single bite on the left side of his stomach. He looked at his mangled right hand, his pinky and ring finger completely bitten off. 'I'll be fine,' he thought to himself, going back to watching the ongoing bridge battle.

Moving a hand through her short hair, she could only come up with a few options, each seemed a failure. The incinerator was alternating between the helicopters, each dropping down lower with each teleportation.
Kamikaze..? That might be the only option. Alpha will fly behind Bravo, Bravo using the stun gun in the helicopter to either stun it slightly or enrage it, crashes into the water below followed by Alpha crashing into the other helicopter, crushing that thing. Hopefully they'll bail out in time, but at the minute that's a risk I'm willing to take...
She watched the battle for a few more moments before explaining the idea to the pilots.

"This just can't get any worse...But we need to get to the other side. Chuck suggested breaking the watermains on the other side then getting the fire hoses. I honestly haven't got any idea on what to do." Lisa spoke, violently kicking another zombie that reached for her.

Jack kept up with Adries and Lisa as best he could.

"The only thing I could think of would be somewhere where we could safely submerge ourselves in water for long periods of time." He looked at the water full of zombies.

"Then again I may just want to fight one of him on land than thousands of them."

"Well, we'll try that if we have to," Adries said as she jumped over the railing at the end of the bridge. She landed with a hard fall near her brother and rushed over to him.

"Holy shit. How bad is it?" Adries asked him, kneeling next to him.
"Fine. Dandy."
"Shit brother, now isn't the time to joke."
"I'll be fine, well...unless I don't get fixed up soon. Then I won't."
"But, Alan...you'r-"
"Completely fine," he started before leaning closer to Adries and whispering a few things to her.
"...really? Why didn't anyone tell me?"
"Er...I never got the results back for you. I can only assume it's the same though."

"Lisa, can you patch him up? If he goes zombie then we will kill him. I guess I'll try and distract that fire thing if it decides it wants to kill us now." Jack said in a rush.

She gave a salute to the pilots as they followed her orders. The first part of the plan went without a slip, as the incinerator roared at the stun gun attempt. She saw the first two pilots bailout suddenly as the plane hit the water with the creature with it. She closed her eyes as she heard the second explosion as the Alpha plane followed suit, unable to watch.

Lisa managed to climb over, trying not to slip on the damp stairs. After catching sight of Alan, she moved a lot faster but waited while he spoke to Adries. She fished out bandage from her backpack, ready to stem the bleeding as best she could until they were back at the school. She winced when she saw his hand, she couldn't even imagine how much pain he must've been in.
"No problem." She added.

"Pfft...turning into a zombie," Alan muttered angrily as Lisa started to stop the bleeding, "Like that would happen. I'm fucking immune to the virus. These are just bite marks to me. Painful bite marks but still...no zombie Alan for any of you. Sorry Lisa, I know this probably isn't the most fun thing to do."

"Alan, stop talking," Adries replied, letting Lisa take her place kneeling beside Alan. She watched as the helicopters crashed, hoping that the Incinerator was finished. 'Knowing our luck,' she thought with a sigh.

"Don't worry about it. I think you're the one who's having the least fun here. Seconded by me, and last in the lineup that bastard bothering those pilots. I'm not sure how long this will take...this is only a quick fix until i get the rest of my supplies at the school." Lisa replied with a weary attempted reassuring smile. She cut the bandage as she started to wrap his hand.
"This is going to hurt...sorry." She warned tying it tight to stem the blood.

"I'm sure it's not going to hurt s- AAAAHRHHH!" Alan yelped, grabbing a hold of the walkway railing to deal with the pain. "Jesus christ. I think I'd kill for some pain medication," he managed to say, "God it's going to be hell when it comes to my legs."

"Crap, I feel bad that we used all the aspirin that we had. I'm so sorry brother," Adries replied, "If this guy is finished we'll head back to the school immediately so that you can be treated."

She flinched at the yelp then finished with the hand for the time being. The blood slowed but was still bleeding a little.
"Sorry, Sorry. We can save the worst for last. Anywhere else that's bad?" Lisa asked unraveling another length of bandage to treat the bite on his stomach.
"I don't think aspirin would've helped much here. I have some extra strength stuff back at the school, the same that i gave to Chuck before he fell asleep."

Christie approached the group with a fairly neutral look on her face before speaking from atop an overturned car.
"It seems our friend is K.O'd, possibly not dead but I saw an arm emerging from the rubble. We should have enough time to get out of here."

"Alan, if I could I would find you a shit load of morphine to help," Adries told him, holding his left hand.

"Thanks. I can't wait to become addicted to the stuff," he told her with a smile. "The worse damage was done to my legs. I can't even see the skin on them anymore. It's all been ripped off or blood soaked. God they hurt so much. The cold water didn't help either."

The battle with The Incinerator proved to be a tough one for the Sly High crew, and it seems that it may be far from over. To make matters worse, Alan is badly hurt. Will they make it back to the school in time, or will the The Incinerator teach them how to cremate?

She took a few seconds before working on the legs, letting out a deep exhale. They weren't completely torn up but not only blood soaked either. She got the bandage ready and took another length. Taking the right leg, Lisa wrapped them as gently as possible, but she couldn't stop the pain. She wiped away the excess blood making them look a little less raw and did the same on the left.
"Okay, i think we'll be able to go now. But it's not going to be easy to get back on the other side." She said wiping some blood from her hands onto her jeans then standing.

Christie cleared the last few zombies that remained on the bridge to clear a path for the rest of the group.
"Are we leaving or what? Come on!"

Alan groaned as Adries helped him to stand up. "We have to walk all the way to the other side? Dammit!" he yelled as he slowly made his way up the walkway with his sister's help. "I should have swam to the other side."

"That would have made things easier but it is slightly on fire over there so...yeah," Adries replied as they started to go across the bridge. She turned to Lisa, "Tell your sister to get the hummer as close to the bridge as possible. No point making it any harder on us."

Lisa nodded and ran ahead a little to catch up with her, grabbing her shoulder.
"Christie. You need to drive up as close as you can in the hummer. It'll make things easier."
"Hm. Alright. Don't take too long." She said turning and climbing over a car bonnet.
"That's what we're going to try and do! Look just get to the hummer and we'll go as quickly as we can."
"Will do." Christie replied plainly heading further down the bridge.

She ran back but keeping roughly a foot in front of them both so that if anything jumped out she could get rid of it, before it attacked them.

"I have to say," Alan started as they made their way along the bridge, "This originally was a good idea. Too bad it got fucked up."

"You said it, I guess the good news is that we might have beaten it...if at least for now," Adries replied. After a few minutes of careful navigation and random zombie encounters on teh bridge they made it to the other side where Christie was waiting for them. "Time to put you in the back," Adries told Alan as she opened the door and helped him inside.

Lisa got into the passengers seat and moving the hair from her face and giving a deep sigh.
"Thank you." She muttered to Christie.

"We better move." She replied with little emotion as she waited for Jack and Adries, before taking off towards the school at high speed.
