Zombie Paris (Open)

George kicks his way though the back door, entering another room. "Come on! Let's get the fuck out of here" he yells over his shoulder. Kicking down another door he exits the building into a small walled garden. Running to the back gate he opens it slowly and checks the street.

"Claude!", Dominique yelled towards the man in the basement, as he handed her a grenade while escaping. He was soon killed by a bullet tearing through his spine. She pulled the pin and threw it out the door they had come in from, and was met by a deafning explosion behind her as she ran after George.

Curtis scrambled through the storm of bullets, to chase after George, he seemed to know where he was going. He cast a glance backwards, drew his pistol and fired a few shots, he hoped it would stop them for a small amount of time. As he was running with his head turned, he didn't notice when George stopped, so Curtis ran straight into him, knocking them both into the neighboring street.

As George stood looking out into the street he felt something run into him. They were sent sprawling into the street, George dropping his gun with a clatter. "bugger me mate, watch out!" He cried out in shock. He scrambled to his feet, grabbing his weapon and Curtis, Pulling him up.

"Sor... Sorry" Curtis said, a small tremble in his voice. Luckily the street they fell into was a deserted one for the time being. "Where now?" he asked George.

"well, I havn't got a clue. i was hoping one of thr frenchies would be out here with us." george replied

Curtis looked around at the street, he was still expecting a Nazi to run around the corner and begin to shoot at them, but for the time being, it didn't happen. He turned to George, "Um, Is there honestly any place we can go? Because they knew about this safe house..."

"Maybe we could hide on the rooftops?", Dominique suggested.

 

[ToxicPiranah]

"I say we steal a tank. It's the last thing they would expect." George suggested "otherwise we hide on the roofs"

"Does anyone know how to drive a tank? Is what we should ask before we go stealing one." Curtis mused, "I like the hide on the rooftops option."

There is a resounding crash at he other end of the street, as a Panzer IV tank plows through the corner of a house and rumble down the street towards you. There are 4 zombies accompanying the tank, blood and drool leaking from their jaws.
With the sudden appearance of a tank, you realize that the Germans are really pushing out the boat on razing Paris. It's not just the raiding of a few Resistance cells, but the systematic decimation of the City of Love.

"Those bastards! They're burning Paris to the ground!" Lucas stepped out and fired his MTG 44 at the tanks. "Die, you monsters!" He replaced the clip and saw the lead tank adjust at him. "I will not go without a fight!" He fired several clips in to he tank before it was in position to fire at him. Lucas reached into his bag and found no more clips. "Au revoir, camarades." He said before the tank opened fire on Lucas, several machine gun rounds piercing his heart and head. He fell to the ground, the guns killing him several times over.

Yes, I am leaving, but one, this is practicality dead, and two, I have to much on my plate at the time being. Happy RPing if this get's resurrected, but until then Adieu, drageons.

Curtis looked at the tank, "Well... There goes that plan." he tried to find the humor, but it was quickly cut dry as Lucas was shot down, "Shit no!" he yelled, but there was nothing he could do, he didn't need to be a doctor to know that he was already dead. He instead, turned around and ran down an alleyway, "Crap crap crap." he whispered to himself.

Partially inspired by CloggedDonkey, I will now start to kill off inactive players. We've got like 5 people who aren't playing, so I'm going to open spots for people who would like to play.

Dominique ran after Curtis, turning around to shoot once in a while, untill she took a turn, and noticed a ladder leading up to the roof. She pointed towards it and told Curtis to run there.

George scrambled after the other two. Watching Dominiwue point at the ladder. He hissed at the pair. "Up, up, up. Lickty Split" unhumerously. Slinging his MP.40 he preped to go up after them.

Curtis did not need to be told twice, he scrambled up that ladder in a matter of seconds. Once he was on the roof, he could see the devastation that the Nazi's had reaped. There were fires spread around the town, explosions every so often and mindless howling.

"At least Tanks can't climb ladders" he said, trying to lift the mood.

dragon_of_red, I blame you for the following idea. Also, this is now a WWII zombie survival horror RP with a hint of mech-punk.

The is a horrendous clanking and clucking at the other end of the street, as the tank folds in on itself and and up. A tread folds in half to become an arm, the main turret shifts to the side as a head comes out of a recess, and suddenly the tank is now a clanking humanoid monstrosity 2 and a half stories tall. Its main gun (now on its left shoulder) swivels around and blasts a chunk of the house opposite the street.

It still mightn't be able to climb a ladder, but it can sure blast the hell out of one.

Curtis saw the mechanical monstrosity blow a hole in a nearby building, "Fuuuuck That" he yelled as he slid back down the ladder, sliding back to where the others were. "Tank... Can walk..." he said through quick gasps of air. "Stuff that... We go... Now..."
