Update: The military police from my base HAVE been mobilized. They're assessing the situation right now. I can only state at this moment that everything that can be done IS being done. Something like that would be on the news wouldn't it? I mean, the military doesn't do anything without ...wait, isn't it like illegal for the military to work on american soil? If there was a chance of outbreak of anything the police would investigate first and hand it off to the CDC not the military. ...I'm beginning to believe you are messing around here, I won't say trolling, but I think this is more like a very elaborate story, or you really are off your rocker, some things are just not adding up.

Well, with all the updates and edits I'd say something is going down. Weather it be zombie related or something else entirely, I'd be a little cautious if I were you. Just to be on the safe side.

OK, so yesterday I was at a friend's house, and on my way home, I saw a few...odd things. My neighbor, usually a live wire, was acting very slow, and he was bleeding a little bit from the corner of his mouth. I know he could have been in need of dire medical attention, but I just ran home. This morning, I saw a few people who were in a very catatonic state, and they were shuffling listlessly through the street. Some of them looked drunk, which wouldn't surprise me, but one or two of them(there were about 5) looked completely gone. Their faces were just kind of...still. If you've ever been to a funeral you know what I mean. It was eerie, and I'm wondering, is it all situational, or is it time to hoard supplies and ammo?


Edit: If it just so happens that this IS the beginning of some form of zombie apocalypse(not excluding 28 days later situation), I'm gonna have to say 2 things.
1: Told ya so.
2: If I survive, I'll be making daily posts, and as long as I do FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T LET YOUR GOVERNMENT NUKE AMERICA.

Update: OK, getting more freaked out now...there's about ten of them out there and they're just...shuffling. If I had a video camera I'd show you guys. I'll borrow my buddie's webcam and see if I can't get a video of 'em...

In all seriousness, keep yourself informed! This could easily escalate into a very serious situation very quickly. I suggest visiting some friends for a few days, while paying attention to the News. If that's not an option, stock up on ammo, water, food, and medicine. Make plans to work work other people, you can't survive this shit alone. Prepare to dig in and fortify your position. Don't get drunk and remain aware of your surroundings. Don't approach any affected individuals and get up early. Stay safe, stay informed, don't do anything stupid, and you just might live to see tomorrow.

if there is a god, he/she wouldn't use such a horrible idea as the end of the world, I mean, so many flaws, for one all the people who watch zombie films know the signs, too many people are ready for it now, guns are a huge problem with it, I mean, fuck aim at head level and fire in a line with a full auto weapon and boom, no more horde. I'm not saying "god will save me" I'm saying if god were to bring the end of the world, zombies is not the way to do it, it's so, so, inaccurate, I mean, it might kill us all, probably eventually, but why wait? If god is so powerful, just do it all at once, boom, there goes the earth, over. So then I hoped you lived in California, No you don't you live in one of the states bordering mine, in a town about 3-4 hours away from mine.

if it is true, you must see that we would be dealing with the slow moving, horde type undead. Which means that we stand a solid chance of picking them off from a distance and dealing with the stragglers with melee weapons, and I reiterate MELEE WEAPON, no matter how tough you think you are hand to hand against a zombie increases risk of infection.

Well here's my question. Are they just the slow-moving, aloof zombies that barely have the strength to lift their heads, let alone tear into my flesh for sweet brain meat? Because if so, I can live with this. I'll just go about my daily life, making sure to securely bar my windows and lock my doors so I can get a good night's rest. I'll also practice my baseball swing with a few sharp weapons, and stock up on some ammunition. But if these zombies are so lazy that they're not even hunting you yet, I think the world has less to worry about than what Hollywood would lead us to believe.

Whew, glad I'm living in one of the few countries on Earth that could actually form an effective quarantine system. Thank God for Singapore!

That said, the decisive lack of firearms in this country means that I would have to break into a military complex to arm myself (not too hard, I live across the street from a barracks/training center, with a firing range not too far away), but I guess my safest bet would be to barricade my house.
