Just last month, a group of kids got in an accident - at least six people were involved in the accident, but only two or three were found - the rest shambled off into the woods and haven't been heard from. Witnesses attest to them seeming "like zombies."

Ooh, how exciting. Just the other day I had my first experience shooting firearms (ironically one of them was sort of similar to the winchester towards the end of shaun of the dead), I've seen enough zombie films to make every small child on earth weep bitterly with fear and I've got a pretty good idea of what I would do.

But for ages I've talked about how plausible a viral zombie outbreak could be, I mean I've even heard reports of a virus in Africa which is highly contagious and can cause the host to become a mindless wanderer.

No, see those guys can be shot in places other than the head and killed, and they are technically still alive, meaning not zombie and a knife in the heat will end them, so not that scary, I'm sure the military could handle it. (or the virus is something we have a cure for, Africa just can't afford it)

I'm not saying it's a complete replica of the t-virus or it would make a good stand in for high levels of radiation on a returned satellite (no problem for Duane Jones) it's just evidence of something close which adds to the plausability of a zombie.

If the muggers don't manage to head-shot them all within a week, our guys will tidy up or, if they're too numerous for that, one of our teams will lead them into some office building or other and torch it then escape over the rooftops. You don't need a .45 for them, either. A .22's perfectly adequate for slow-moving enemies with no ranged attack, and it's easier to get one below 80 decibels so it won't reduce your ability to hear others moving around nearby.

Normally I would think "This guy's lieing" but something tells me your not making this up. I would suggest getting a .45 pistol and learning how to scavenge for food, use a melee weapon, and properly treat bite wounds

There is only two treatments: Zombrex, or a bullet to the brain. You need to be rich for the former, and I can provide the latter.

I live in england, and I haven't noticed anything...then again, I live in the town of the nearly dead, constantly shuffling to and from poundland, so I wouldn't.

if there is a god, he/she wouldn't use such a horrible idea as the end of the world, I mean, so many flaws, for one all the people who watch zombie films know the signs, too many people are ready for it now, guns are a huge problem with it, I mean, fuck aim at head level and fire in a line with a full auto weapon and boom, no more horde. Face it, the odds of a zombie anything are seriously like 1 in a million.
