I cant stand RTS. In all games I have played if you cant micromanager at ridiculous speed then you suck. In turn-based strategies you have time to think and do whatever you want. Thats why my personal strategy game is Civilization IV.
My best Bioshock 2 moment:
I was in some level where you first encounter Alpha daddys (or whatever they were called). I was standing in a balcony and Alpha came from below. First I turned it into ice cube, while it was melting I changed into shotgun and shot Alpha with burning shot.

I agree with you, but with good innovations it is possible to create an enjoyable sandbox. Batman just wouldnt fit into sandbox-game. In Sandbox-games like GTA, Prototype or Saints Row the fun thing is to go nuts and kill bunch of stupid-ass NPC. Couldnt do that in Batman game.
Of course no. Good entertainment does not lose its value even when there is something interesting at hand. I still read good books and see my friends but I also have bunch of new stuff like playeng MtG or paper-and-pen-RP to spend my time on.
I prefer to use Kakashi or Sasuke. Never liked Gaara because hes so slow in games. I have been playeng lot of Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 3 on PSP because I dont own PS2 myself.
Same here. I once had a friend who was at my level but he got bored of 2d-fighting games and got lacky. We used like hours everyday just to play Ultimate Ninja 3 and we were quite unbeateble in it.
If some game is busting my balls, I take a break and go get some pizza or kebab. After eating some of that (not all so I wont get all sleepy) I feel super and can pass anything that game throws at me.
I used to play adventure and platformer games alot. Novadays I like to play shooter (preferring sandbox-games but enjoyng linear games with good atmosphere and story) and action-RPG like Mass Effect and Alpha Protocol.
