Mass Effect, It wasn't a bad game but I first saw a preview for it after devouring both the KOTOR games and it's pretty much the only modern game to make me feel like a kid waiting for christmas, It even nudged up the odds of me buying my first HDTV. Mabe it could never deliver what I hoped.

Both consoles will be held aloft by future generations as a warning against catering to the lowest common denominator.
