    Did Not Do The Research

Oh God me too. It's not like you only use 10% of your brain ever. You use the bits of it you need for any particular thing (e.g., solving a math problem, playing tennis). As I like to point out, if you actually used 100% of your brain at any given time you wouldn't have superpowers, you'd be...

    Zero Punctuation: Deus Ex

Thank you, Yahtzee! I've been hoping to see a Zero Punctuation retrospective review of Deus Ex ever since you mentioned it was one of your favorites. I too hope that someone will re-release it with better graphics - and if that ever happens, I hope it won't be exclusive to the PC (I'm a Mac...

Poll: So I just met my lesbian neighbors...

I live in an apartment building and know most of the folks on my end of the hall as well as the somewhat eccentric artist down at the opposite end of the hall. :) I also recognize some other residents of the building (and their dogs) although I don't know their names.

    Mass Effect 2, Worth it?

ME2 is definitely worth it, but if you start playing it without using an ME1 saved game it assumes, by default, that you did everything the "Renegade" way (which I personally do not like). If you have a PC there are some savegame creators/editors you can use to get around this problem, but if...

If you could pick ONE game from your past to remake, what would you choose?

Seconded! Or possibly thirded, fourthed, etc. depending upon how many others have expressed the same opinion in this thread (I was too lazy to read all the way through).

Unleash your inner fanboy! (or fangirl)

I am, and forever shall remain a Dresden Files fangirl. The books, I mean, not the TV series. That doesn't mean I don't find time for fangirling over other things, though, like Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

Poll: What do you think of depression?

Depression is definitely a real thing. I think certain lifestyle factors (e.g., lack of sleep and exercise) may contribute to its prevalence and severity, though. Which is not to say that medication doesn't help. As with other psychological issues, medication is only part of the solution.

    Fallout New Vegas

I recently picked up Fallout: New Vegas again after a long hiatus. Yes, it's worth getting, and by now the serious stuff has been patched (although I would still save often and consult the Vault wiki, were I you).

    Poll: Do you give blood?

I have a few times, but not lately. I have AB- blood (rarest blood type), so the Red Cross people are always happy to see me come by and roll up my sleeve.

    I have XBOX!! Now what?

My Xbox 360 actually doubles as a DVD player. It takes a bit to get the hang of using your controller as a remote, but once you've done that you're set.

The Most Immoral Thing You've Done in a Video Game

I did that on my "evil" run of Fallout 3. But I think it was topped by blowing up Megaton just so I could get a swanky pad in Tenpenny Tower.

And the best in-game music is in...

I nominate the Mass Effect series for best in-game music. Although I think the soundtrack from Deus Ex comes in at a close second.

Games that have helped you in real life

I forget where I heard this theory, but apparently playing video games helps people improve their ability to generalize to new situations - in other words, it makes them better able to analyze and adapt to new things. If this is true, then my gaming hobby has helped me develop skills that are...

People who wear sunglasses at the wrong times.

I don't need to worry about this - I have transition lenses. :)

    Name Some Notable In-Game Music!

I would suggest checking out this page. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/CrowningMusic/VideoGames] Gotta put in a vote for a lot of the music in Mass Effect 2, particularly the character themes and the battle theme from the Overlord DLC.
