That's a damn good recommendation. Not to mention his avatar, which should make you consider whatever he says for this thread. >.> I've been playing Shadow Hearts lately. They have a pretty good soundtrack, much of which is rather creepy/horror sounding.

This seems to be the basic premise, in my opinion. So, to answer "What did they do right?". Graphics. Pretty, pretty graphics and visuals. One other opinion: They've created one of the best looking games to date. Use that graphics engine for the next 2 or more installments. Not just spin...
