I see your point but don't base that generalisation on Jay-Z as song sampling is his style, and it does work. His album songs are much more profound and have unique subjects - "D.O.A (Death of Auto-Tune)

Pretty good - a nice use of the short sentences to break it up. Some sentences could do with being reworded such as "My pod kept me from feeling the air that hissed violently as the pod cut through it"
Some grammar could also be tightened up (Worded numbers instead of digits might be better)...
I agree with 1notixikated and when you have a friend you know is intelligent who pretends not to know things so people either pay more attention to them or think they're cooler.

I agree that it can be fun in moderation, and of course everybody has their stupid moments - I just think it should be done for reasons other than to be accepted socially by a 'cooler' crowd.
Interesting results so far. I just think that people dumbing themselves down to become more popular or to make themselves is far more annoying than a simple minded person exaggerating their intelligence.
