How many discs has your xbox 360 ruined?

Remember that sticker that was on the disc tray of you xbox about not moving the machine while there is a disc in it. Psps aren't a fair comparison as they use a self contained disc more like a floppy or zip disk thatn a cd. Laptops use those ballbearing clasp ones that hold the disc in...

So I just got hit by a leggy blonde's Mini Cooper S and lived

That's because there wasn't. Brett and Jermaine said it takes up too much time as they have to write the scripts and the songs for each episode.

Wii Goes Black and Never Goes Back

The black Wii's people have already seen were supposedly "limited edition", so it looks like the trial went well and Nintendo have put them into full production.

So why did someone expressing their freedom of speech become unpopular?

Read it again, they want to use legal changes, negotiation and consent to evict non white people from the UK. How is that anything but racist?

    Recycling does not save energy

There are quite a few lies in that post for starters. Recyclcyling materials generally uses much less energy than extracting them from scratch look at the processes for extracting metals form ore, you dig tonnes of rock out of the ground, crush it, heat it up till the metal melts out of...

How many left Blizzard before WoW went Gold in 2004?

Because guild wars accounts never expire, 6.5 million copies sold does not equal 6.5 million current players. I believe he meant not massive as it doesn't use the same free roaming open world you would find in most MMOs.

Poll: Tesco bans a "Jedi Knight" from their store

I can't speak for other countries, but in the UK that is not true. In the 2001 census, which was when all the crap about it being recognised started, it recieved enough responses so that when the census was processed it was given it's own catagory rather than being grouped in with other, but...

Poll: Tesco bans a "Jedi Knight" from their store

Let's put this into context, Man wearing hood in store is asked to remove it. Man refuses, stating he has too as it is part of his faith. When asked what faith he states Jedi. (At this point it should be noted that anyone who has watched star wars knows that Jedi do not always have their...

Does the number of levels in WOW make you less likely to play it?

I sold my old wow account before wotlk knowing that having to level again would put me off playing the game anymore but really it's only a few weeks real time to get to max level especially with all the tweaks blizzard make to speed up leveling. And the new content is drawing me back towards...

Ever been kicked for no good reason?

I've only ever been kicked once (excluding random kicks for going afk). It was back in the old CS days playing on a public server. A guy was blatantly wall hacking so a few people put requests in for an admin with no luck, so the next map loads this time I'm on the same team as the hacker, I...

The PS3 and the 'Yellow Light of Death'

When I was a kid Watchdog was great, with genuine investigative reporting, exposing scams and rogue businesses etc. Now it just seems to be some rabble rousing crap with a thinly disguised advert for some console repair guys (who by their own figures have a 1 week repair rate of 45%).

Poll: The Most Kickass (Or Badass) Rocket Launcher

The explosion from the fatman was great but the launch is really puny and not at all satisfying. I'd have to go for unreal tournament, nothing like storing up a dozen rockets and letting rip all at once.

    Windows 7 with 2GB RAM

RC is release candidate, a late Beta version of software that could potentially go to full production. Hence the name, a candidate for release.

    Windows 7 with 2GB RAM

I'm running windows 7 RC on my netbook (Aspire one) with 1.5Gb and it is much smoother than vista or even XP for that matter. And that's a full install with no tweaking or optimisation needed.
