As for pure strategy, Go is the ultimate game. In terms of video games, I'll have to say civilization and the Total War series when you're in civilization mode. Tactically, it's definitely Total War. In terms of mechanical skill, Starcraft takes the cake.

I just want to ask how "One" is a classic. Other than being Metallica's first music video, it did nothing. If you want Metallica landmarks, stuff like Whiplash, Fight Fire with Fire, Creeping Death, Fade to Black, and Metal Militia come to mind.

I agree. GTA III was much more influential than OoT. OoT was a great, great game (better than GTA III!), but not nearly as influential. If I had to pick a LoZ game, Link to the Past would be it.

RTS games have never worked on consoles. There is no reason to play Halo Wars when you have a slew of better and more innovative RTS on PC. I mean come on, Warhammer, Starcraft, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, Warcraft, C&C, Supreme Commander (cringe, but still better than Halo Wars.). I mean...

I play electric guitar and I like Guitar hero/Rock Band and whatever else there is. It's a fun party game. Sometimes I just wish they had better songs.
