Exactly, I worked with some people two summers ago who went on and on about the Red Sox, spouting off all sorts of numbers and facts and figures, forever. If I so much as mentioned a game or scifi reference though, *I'm* the nerd. Everyone geeks out about something.

After all the hype and build up I heard from everyone, my fiance and I were expected one of the toys to get melted down or something terrible. So when that didn't happen, no neither of us cried.

The new ones have built-in wifi, and various internal changes which apparently lower the risk of blowing up/red ringing/etc. Also, they're much quieter.

Great review. My copy for the Wii should be showing up tomorrow or wednesday, I'm excited to give it a go. Once I saw the art style, I knew I wanted to play it. It's only $15 on amazon right now if anyone is looking to buy.

I think this exact thread was posted a few weeks ago. If the game sets itself up to be somewhat realistic, it should play out as being somewhat realistic. The game should follow its own rules. Black Ops is set up like an action movie, so I have no problem with all the silly dual wielding...

Personally, I've noticed just as much fanboy crap going both ways. Perhaps the websites or forums you follow have a disproportional number of ps3 users?

Thats kind of what I thought, but I'm not sure why this is a problem, or how it could be changed. If we both shoot at near the same time, we should both get hit, and therefore possible be killed.

They patched the snipers to do less damage. Though, I didn't have a problem with them before. I haven't experienced any freezes, and what do you mean by trade off kills?

The only quicktime event I've ever encountered that I felt improved the game was in Gears of War. If you timed your reload right you got a faster reload, messed up and you reloaded slower. Or you could ignore it and reload at a normal pace. I despise them in cutscenes.
