    Whatcha Playin?

Finally got around to playing Mass Effect 3: Citadel, so I decided to start up a new Shepard and run through the trilogy again.

    Favorite Disney Song

In no particular order: Friends on the Other Side I'll Make a Man out of You Hellfire Gaston Be Prepared Interestingly, with the exception of the one from Mulan, they're all villain songs.

    Broken mechanics! (Good and bad)

Summoner, one of the launch titles for the PS2, was sublimely broken in its mechanics, both good and bad. Bad: -The titular summoning was almost useless, gimping your main character's stats when in-use. -Chain attacks were pointless given the game's mostly real-time combat. -The speed and...

What Pokemon would you get as a pet?

    Espeon or Ninetales, no question.

    I think I'm finally over ME3 now...

Well, I still hate the ending more than I've hated any game ending before, but most of the rest of the game was a lot of fun. I've replayed the game a few times to try out different choices/classes. Usually I just stop playing when I reach Earth. Also, the multiplayer has been surprisingly...

The Mass Effect Series: Squad Mates -Spoilers-

No, he doesn't, because that wouldn't make any sense. He has a Prothean accent.

The Mass Effect Series: Squad Mates -Spoilers-

Eh. He is a jerkass, but he has a lot of hilarious lines and is a pretty fun subversion of the idea of the "helpful precursor". I also like how he totally shook up Liara's whole viewpoint regarding the Protheans. Lastly, he does develop somewhat, if you talk with him. In the beginning, he...

The Mass Effect Series: Squad Mates -Spoilers-

Top 3 It's a three-way tie, really, between: -Tali. She's adorably awkward. I like her as a character and as a romance option, even if her creepier fans do try to ruin everything. -Wrex. He's my bro. That is all. -Mordin. Mad scientist. Has some of the best dialogue. Sings Gilbert and...

    A gaming character to befriend

Ayla would be a lot of fun at parties (points to avatar). Tali from Mass Effect would also be awesome, but probably the most awesome choice is Varric from Dragon Age II.

    sweet racing game any suggestions?

Man, I used to really be into racing games back when I played a lot of N64 and PS2 games. I don't think I have much in the way of more modern ones. I guess on the off chance your PS3 is one of the backwards-compatible ones you could try picking up a copy of Jak X: Combat Racing. Pretty tough...

    Skyrim - Two months later.

I finished just about everything interesting to me. 160 hours, level 53, all questlines completed, got the Platinum trophy. I'm done with it, until we get some big DLC like Shivering Isles or I get a computer that can run the PC version so I can futz around with mods. That, or when the urge...

Poll: Which enemy/enemy type in Skyrim do you hate the most?

Yeah, those extermination quests can suck at lower levels, especially with Sabre Cats of any type. Hell, any forced close range fight sucks when you're a ranged specialist. I just pull out Mehrune's Razor and hope the instant death ability triggers.

Any upcoming collector's editions you plan to buy?

Mass Effect 3. I'm very original, you see.

Your biggest fears that translate into games

The first two responses to this thread sum up my top two, albeit in reverse order. 1. Spiders. Ugh. The eyes, the legs, the fangs. I can't even look directly at the screen when fighting the big ones in Skyrim or Dragon Age II. 2. Deep water (and the things that lurk therein). Usually it...

Poll: Which enemy/enemy type in Skyrim do you hate the most?

Chaurus do seem like they'd be a pain at lower levels and/or on higher difficulties, but I guess I just missed the boat when it came to them. By the time I met them I was level 36, and a sneak attack arrow or two put them down.
